Initially had Scotto come out to repair a leak from my 14 year old water heater. Brian replaced the drain spout, as it looked like the leak was coming from there. After six days, the leak was back. I called Scotto on a Sunday and Brian happened to be the one that came out again. He saw the leak from the spout again and re-did everything he did six days earlier. Brian was extremely professional and explained everything he was doing. After about 2 hours, the leak was back again. I noticed the leak coming from under the water heater and decided I wanted it replaced. Scotto had someone available between 2-4 to do the install on Monday so I took that appointment. Spencer came out at noon to begin the replacement. He did an excellent job keeping everything neat. Scotto credited me $200 I paid six days earlier for the repair that didn't fix my issue. I thought this showed that they stood behind their work. I have used Scotto in the past and have had nothing but positive experiences with their services. I even recommend Scotto to anyone that asks about who is a good honest plumber.

Spencer and Justin did a great job!! They were a pleasure to work with! They kept the job site clean and kept us informed throughout the entire process! I would definitely recommend them!!

Late Friday afternoon I noticed my hot water heater was leaking near the front access panel. I used my Angie?s List App to locate Scotto?s who I?ve used since 2008. I called them and got a recorded message twice. Then I tried to use the message feature to see if I could reach them. I did receive a call from a very nice woman who told me to turn off the breaker to the water heater. The shop closes at 5:00 PM and the woman told me that there was no one there to check to see if they might have a 40 gallon heater available. She said her suppliers were also going to be closed so getting a water heater from Scotto?s over the weekend would not be possible. I asked if they could install a water heater if I purchased from Home Depot and she said yes, they could do that. She told me the installer is on another job and could not be at our house until 8:00 PM. I asked if we could just schedule it for the 1st appointment on Saturday morning and she said she could do that. Then she called and left a message Friday night saying the plumber called out sick and could not be there Saturday. My wife said OK, then how soon. She was told the first appointment was Monday between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. My wife asked her for an approximate cost for the install and the women from Scotto?s said between $150 and $200 and maybe $49 for tax. So when the plumber arrived at 4:00PM I wanted to confirm how much the price was. He said he could give me an estimate, but its going to be around $500. He wrote up an estimate for $550. Of course, I was very surprised there was such a big difference. I asked him to call his office, which he did. He said this price is the best he could offer. I told him that I thought Scotto?s could at least meet me half way. He said he would have someone contact me. So far, I?ve not been contacted.

Spencer was SUPERB!!! He was friendly and a true professional. The cost was $53.00 compared with an estimate of $160.00 from another Angies Plumber. This was a great deal and Spencer is a great guy. I am very satisfied and will use this service again, especially if Spencer comes out......

And I would use them again in the future if the need arises.

Within a week of purchasing our house, the toilets started to back up. We searched Angie's List for a plumber to contact. We found Scotto Plumbing. They came out the same day and snaked one of our two bathroom toilets. They climbed on the roof and went through the pipe and removed some very nasty items that were stuck in the lines. Our house had sat vacate for some time before we moved in and may have been the reason for the back up. We thought the issue was resolved; however within several days the lines were backing up again and this time it was both bathrooms late in the evening. Scotto's came out and cleared the line so that I didn't have sewer overflowing onto the floor from the toilets and the tubs! The very next day, they were here to finish the job. They used an camera to check the lines to see what truly was causing the problem before we did any more work. Their recommended treatment of enzymes and jetting have cleared our sewer lines for good. I would recommend Scotto Plumbing for any emergency service. They are timely and professional. They took the time to show me the sewer cap in the yard and what to do if ever I'm in a dire situation again.

We've used Scotto before and find that our satisfaction with the company is highly dependent on the person they send out. This time, they sent Ocy -- and we're satisfied with his work. Ocy was very pleasant, professional, and worked hard the entire time he was here. Some of the plumbing in this house is very old and unfortunately, that sometimes means getting into more work (and expense) than initially planned. That happened today. I wish it could have been different (and cheaper), but I truly believe that Ocy did everything in his power to repair instead of replace. It just wasn't meant to be with our ancient shower.

We have used Scotto before, and we will call them again. We had a leak on a feed line inside a wall. We called the Scotto emergency line. They called back in an hour (early in the morning). A technician came in a couple hours, diagnosed and repaired the leak. Dale was professional and informative.

I had water coming up from under my floorboards and had just replaced my toilet less than week prior. I was afraid it was related to that, but the water wasn't near that area. I was afraid it could be a slab leak or something inside the walls. Spencer was so polite and checked the usual suspects. It appears that I have an AC issue. He gave me referrals for someone to inspect my damaged floors and said if it's not an AC issue than we will move forward checking for drainage issues, but it's most likely the AC.

I would strongly recommend them. They have a membership service but they don’t advertise. So once anyone becomes part of Scotto’s membership club, they give discounts and recognitions for being part of the club, and word of mouth kind of references. I’ve had very good luck with them. Their price is competitive.

The Plummer Eric came in and before checking the problem he suggested to change the whole toilet! Because it will be cheaper than changing the equipment inside the tank. He wrote the estimate and left before fixing the issue. I went to Home Depot and asked a person with the customer service and showed him a picture of the tank and he suggested to change the flapper and this fix the problem. I am really disappointed after this experience because I was a loyal customer to this company for almost 3 and half years.

We went to bed on a Friday night with a stopped toilet and a shower that were both backing up. We called at 7:30am on Saturday and they had someone out by 11. They sent out a technician, John, who cleared the stoppage up. Was very thankful that they were able to send someone out quickly. We paid extra because it was a weekend emergency service, but that was fine given that we were anxious to have the problem fixed. John clearly explained what he was doing and why. It took him about 1.5 hours to get us up and running again.

Jerry Lawson was courteous and the pricing was fair. I receive a monthly bulletin with helpful hints and things to watch out for. I am very happy with the service.

I initially chose this plumber because of the great rating. I have to give complements with this contractor where compliments are do; however, I do feel very slighted by the actual end result that ended up costing me much more than a clog in a main drain should have cost. The first plumber came out on Monday and he snaked the line 75 feet, he said he pulled back what was causing the clog. The charge to me was $270.00 for basically 1 hour labor. I asked when I called, "How much to service charge would be?' She couldn't tell me the answer. The crew proceeded to complete the work, without discussing or letting me know the price first. We cleaned up the mess from the bathrooms, discussed the outrageous cost of this service, and went about our day. Then we come to early Wednesday, the same exact thing occurred again. Despite barely using the restrooms and showers, as well as being very consciences of the toilet tissue we were using in our toilets; the toilets began overflowing again, causing the showers and all other sinks to back up. Very distraught at the mere thought of having to pay another $270.00, I called the plumbing office. They agreed to send out someone else and as long as nothing additional was clogging, I would not be charged. They indeed sent someone out, he ran a snake 125 ft. and nothing additional was pulled. here was no charge for this visit. The plumber they sent was a nice, young man in his 20's; however, not professional. I live in an older, nice, quiet, up kept neighborhood. My neighborhood is not far from a less desirable part of town, but my home is not in that neighborhood. My parents were visiting from up North and the young man asked my dad, "What made you move to this neighborhood?" It made me feel bad that he asked my dad that. Then he proceeded to tell me he grew up around Clearwater area and wouldn't even go to parties over here. It was just very inappropriate for him to express to me his feelings regarding the home we have worked so hard to rehab (it was bought as a foreclosure). On top of it all, my dad has taken much of his own time to come from up North, on several different occasions, to help make our home beautiful for us. Truth be told, at the time, I was just happy to have the clog issue resolved (or so I thought). This brings me to Thursday, YEP, YOU GUESSED IT. Toilets and drains were backing up yet again! Another, water mess to clean up. That was it, I was finding another, reputable plumber. I was so fortunate to find another plumber that came out right away. We discussed the existing problem with him, and he said he was going to snake all the way to the public street drain. He told us to follow the sound of the snake, so we knew he was snaking all the way to the street. While he pulled nothing back, Snaking all the way to the street pushed the rest of the issue through. Resulting in an additional $187.00 cost to us, but has completely solved our problem. Now I ask you, should the first plumber not have done that? Especially, with a clog that you know is present. Isn't the logical thing to do is push a snake all the way to the main public line in the first place? Total of this costly....a smidge under $500 bucks.

Very professional and left the area clean. Very friendly and if I asked a question responded with detailed information and did not seem upset by my questions.

The plumber arrived promptly. He asked questions that enabled him to suggest the best way to fix our problem. He finished the job. Left no mess behind. He even helped me find a coupon I could use!

He was very professional, courteous, and well prepared to complete any work needed. He had all supplies on hand and wasted no time. He also inspected the rest of the the surrounding plumbing ensuring the integrity of the water lines.

Two highly professional members of this company did an outstanding job. No complaints... Highly reccomend!

Ok. Our issue is in the cost we were quoted over the phone and the actual final cost. When we questioned $$,we needed to speak with "Robin", who is in charge of the company and she was on vacation. When our call was returned, no customer satisfaction was received ( ,our word basically against the plumbers word). We paid approximately 45% more than what we were quoted. Get it in writing first ( they have done work for us in the past and never had an issue). Very disappointed in this last experience. They did not try to settle this discrepancy and we are out a lot more money that we hadn't budgeted for.

This is the 3rd time I have used Scottos plumbing and I have to say I would not use anyone else. The hall toilet was making weird sounds and not flushing properly so I called them and they had someone out the next day. The plumber diagnosed the problem made the repairs and was on his way. That afternoon, the toilet still was not working so they sent someone else out. It appears that the problem had been misdiagnosed by a fairly new plumber and it was going to cost more that what we originally paid. I was concerned about paying double when I had already paid for something I didn't really need. The plumber did not have the authority to approve any type of payment but had his office call the next day. They agreed that a mistake was made and did not charge me for the additional work that had been done. I was more than willing to pay the diferrence but they insisted it was on them and did not charge me any additioanl monies. In a perfect world you expect your servicemen ie. plumbers, electricians etc to get the job done the frist time however, we are all human and mistakes can be made. it is nice to know that there is a company like Scottos that steps up to the plate and takes responsibility of any situation. Bottom line I feel as a repeat customer past, present and future I was taken care of and made to feel valued. I have never felt taken advantage of by this company and now more than ever think they are an honest and reliable company that I will give my business to for years to come!!

Once again, i am extremely pleased with the service provided by Scotto Plumbing. They came out and removed a faucet that my son attempted to remove last night. Then installed a brand new Moen faucet. Very professional, always called me Ma'am, which i still need to get used to, as it makes me feel old. LOL. But shows respect and i like that alot. I will always call Scotto for my plumbing needs and so should you :) If you do, let them know i referred you. i get nothing for that, just let the know a fellow user sent you.

They investigated the issue and said that the other plumbing company that I had come out quoted me incorrectly. He also identified a leak in the front bathroom. I was very grateful.
