Master Restoration

They judged me, my pets and no doubt they smelled some smells. It turned out that the smell was the pesticide leeching on everything from the HVAC including my pets' newspaper liners. I could tell from facial expressions that I was being judged and when they stated they would not help me before an industrial hygienist whom I contacted and stated if the PPMS were too low, than I could just have my place cleaned. I was able to have my place decontaminated. Nobody judged me, they recognized the pesticide smell immediately (that was a cleaning company AND a decon company BOTH recognized the pesticide smell. It was NEVER my pets. In fact, they were exposed to the pesticide as well as the pets. When companies are too big, they have policies in place that are not helpful. I give them an F for being so corporate that all they could do was to judge me, pass me along to a hygienist who said on the phone nothing they could do but take my money. So, I didn't call the hygienist back. If you need mold remediation or fire cleanup or smoke, they can handle it. But, they were unable to or afraid to help me get rid of neurotoxins (VOCs.) They were too big to help me with pesticides.

The work turned out pretty well. It was very good. They were here for four days. The drywall was good but tapering was not so good. They were awful nice and very good. I think the price was fair. It was average.

Job went fairly smooth overall, with the exception of tile installer (Sub contract), all jobs performed as scheduled. dusty made certain work performed always to our liking.

Master Restoration was on top of the process from day one helped us when things get difficult & confusing. They were always in constant communication w/ us until the job was done.

I did not have a good experience with them. I had to force them to remove some of the insulation from the attic, because it was wet. They left it outside and never disposed of it. I called them about it. They put a lock box on my front gate, and they never removed it. They were difficult to work with because, they sub-contract it out. I had to have three people review the work. They had one guy come out, then had another guy reassess it and he increased the bill. Then they had to have another contractor come out. It was such a waste of time. The sub-contractor did a really good job, and I liked him. I ended up having to remove the insulation myself.

From the first phone call until the bill was sent, this company handled everything in a professional, efficient, friendly, and kind manner. They took care of our flooded home but also were compassionate about how stressful these types of disasters are on a family. I highly recommend Jarrett Dixon's team to everyone! If you have any kind of disaster, Master Restoration should be your first call. I'm so glad that they were mine.

Dustin, John & Derek did such an amazing job that this review can't list all that they did. I was so shocked that there was a company out there that cared to ensure my items were taken care of well and removed if necessary. They were great in letting me know what was going on every step of the way and helped to ensure a quick turnaround process. If anyone I knew were to have an issue, they would be the first team that I would recommend to anyone. I can't thank them enough for helping to make this process easier.

Fantastic, first they cleaned out the mold. Then installed a dehumidifier in the closet to take all the moisture out. Meanwhile the plumber (from another company) fixed the leak. The next day John and his partner Dustin returned to retrieve the dehumidifier and put a retardant on the walls. They were so helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Excellent. The staff is very professional on the phone and returns calls promptly, listens completely and does everything they promise on the phone in follow-up. The technicians on the ground were fantastic and neat and clean. I would highly recommend them.

Master Restoration did a fantastic job and were very attune to our needs. Being displaced, they did everything they could do to get us back in the house promptly. Master Restoration helped us navigate the insurance red-tape as well and explain how the whole process works. After 7-weeks, project is complete. Jarrett, Justin, Dusty and Steve did a great job. Very professional and always on time and stayed late on site to finish the work. Couldn't have asked for a better team.

On Sunday morning I realized that a pipe had burst in the half bathroom. I called my insurance agent and they told me to call Master Restoration. They came out within an hour of me calling them. They set up a machine to extract the moisture and water. On Tuesday my insurance agent told me that my insurance would not cover the service. Master Restoration came out afterward and said they would not charge me for the service. They said all they needed was my letter of denial.

Not having had previous experience in this area, I had no choice but search for a restoration company. Master Restoration was my first choice after reading their reviews. And I'm glad I chose them. Their staff was in almost constant contact during the project and provided assistance and direction for dealing with the insurance facet of the job also. , Master Restoration made the process go very smoothly and every employee I dealt with has been very courteous and helpful. I would recommend them again.

Employees were on time and performed an excellent job. They were very neat and left my home in very good condition.

They were referred by my insurer(Coleman Agency) as was the plumber(Larry@ Plumbing Repairs R US,Inc.) Jordan started a rapid response.Brian set the drying/dehumidifying equipment up-taking daily moisture readings over 3 days.He then opened the ceiling r/t the readings going into the 4th day not being dry enough.Justin(Supervisor) came to satisfy my concerns about my situation.Dusty later came to do the further ceiling diagnostics,making an amazing result of the opened ceiling-looks BETTER than before the leak! The responsiveness,communication,punctuality,final outcome,& price was more than satisfactory.

. As I stated above, I was in Philadelphia when there was a flood in my condo in Florida. I went immediately to Angie's List to search for a restoration company. Master Restoration had the best of the reviews, so I got in touch with them. I spoke to Jarrett Dixon about the problem - lots and lots of water damage, mold, etc. He guided me through the process and assured me that it was all fixable and doable. The workers were in the condo almost immediately. They had to tear out the walls, baseboards, vanity, kitchen cabinets, etc. The entire condo had to be repainted and cabinents and vanity replaced. Unfortunately, my insurance company was not exactly co-operative! They stalled and stalled about the work and the money to replace everything. Jarrett stayed calm during all this hassling and tried to keep me calm. He kept the people working. The insurance money finally arrived and they could proceed with the cabinents, vanity, counter-tops, and the painting. This took us into October, 2014. I was concerned about the quality of the paint, counter-tops and vanity because my choices were limited. I did fly to Florida to choose the afore mentioned items. Jarrett arranged the meeting for all of us. I picked out what I thought were the best choices and hoped for the best. When all the work was completed I flew back to Florida to see the final results. I was thrilled! The condo looked wonderful!!!! In fact, it looked new! Jarrett was correct. It all came together. I am very happy with the results.

This company did a fantastic job.They had a crew out on New Years eve cleaning up a real mess They discovered and removed hidden mold that could have caused serious health problams They also helped with the insurance claim paper work I would strongly recommend them, great local company

The Service provided to my client was excellent!

I have a house in Seminole Florida that I use in the winter months. The house has an outside room containing the electric lines,breaker box and hot water heater. While I was away, the hot water heater leaked water into the room but since no one was there, it continued to pour over an extended period of time. Long enough for black mold to envelope everything. My next door neighbor noticed water pouring from the door and called me. I contacted Master Restoration and they sent someone over that day. They called immediately and told me the extent of the damage. Within a week or so they sent me an estimate of the repair costs and gave me the name of a plumber they have worked with in the past who would examine and replace , if necessary, the hot water heater. All went according to plan. The hot water heater was replaced, the room was dismantled and the beams were disinfected. The walls were rebuilt and repainted so the outside wall matched the color of the house. While doing the work, they noted that the heat pump was making strange noises. They called in an air conditioner repair man to fix the leak in the coolant system. All of this was done in constant contact with me. I received phone updates twice a week along with periodic pictures so I could see what they were doing. The entire process was very professional and the staff was very friendly and easy to deal with which I appreciated since I was 1100 miles away.

The deconstruction crew removed the moldy dry wall from the ceiling and the insulation above in our laundry room . They also scraped/cleaned the rafters to make sure no mold remained. They ran an air cleaner and dehumidifier for a few days to clean the air and dry the area out. It took a couple of weeks for the roofing company to fit us into their schedule and with a good number of strong storns coming through the area, the tarp became loose in a couple of areas. (It is more difficult to secure a tarp on a tile roof than a shingled one.) Michael cheerfully returned and repositioned sand bags and added more to insure there would be no further water intrusion. Once the roof was repaired, Mike reconstructed the ceiling which included a soffit for lighting. Michael placed insulation above the ceiling. Mike finished the room off beautifully including rehanging the light fixtures and repainting the entire room. We had had a leak in another room of the house and a bit of drywall had fallen down. Mike also repaired the ceiling in our bathroom. Jordan and Katie in the office were very professional and stayed in touch with us every step of the way, scheduling the visits and keeping the paperwork and payments in order. The crew was delayed a couple of times and I received a call to let me know. Jarrett, who came to the house initially and provided the bid, was very helpful. All the men who came to work at the house were polite, did great work and cleaned up after themselves. My husband and I highly recommend Master Restoration.

Jarrett was forthcoming and honest and let me know there was no smell/odor, and the use of the extinguisher did not travel extensively outside the kitchen area. He said it needed to be cleaned in a professional way, but utilization of his services were not necessary. He saved me a lot of $$$ by not over-analyzing and trying to upsell me just to make a quick buck. He will let you know what needs to be done, and what does NOT need to be done. Very grateful for his assessment.
