A - 1 Inside And Out

Description of Work: I am a divorced woman, first time condo owner and unemployed. I saved up some money and was looking to change my laminate floor to tile, and since I saved up a little extra money, I thought I would get the painting done too. The owner's name is Penny Pare, and she came to my condo three times so we could go over everything, and I thought we did. Penny was said to be reliable and would do the work for a good price while I had to take a trip out of town...1st mistake. We went to pick out all supplies and said that was everything she needed and I paid. Since she was hiring two other guys to help, she wanted money up front to pay the guys per day....2nd mistake. When she and the two men came to bring the supplies the truck they were going to use was unsuitable, they had to rent a trailer...3rd mistake. After putting everything in my house and before she left, knowing I would be out of town, she asked to have the rest so in case anything came up she could buy what she needed...4th mistake. I called from out of town and she mentioned a couple of things and she said she would have to buy to repair the toilets I bught because the flanges were almost non existant, and I replied okay, when I get back I would take care of it...call if anything else comes up, she said sure. Penny never called to update me, so I thought things were good. While I was on my way back I thought ...Oh, I'll be coming home to a new place....NOT! I called Penny to say there were things I noticed right away, and she was puzzled as to what that could be? The next day she came over and I went through everything one by one...she had an excuse for each problem. Also when tiling under my alliances she ripped my ice maker and water line and said it was because I had a leak anyway, when I left, everything was in working order and one of the guys stepped on my counter to reach the top wall over the cabinets and damaged my dishwasher. So, I have to call a plumber and had to call the cable company because they snipped my lines. Two extra charges and Penny said she did me a lot of favors...she painted the vanity near my bathroom because it wasn't on the list. Penny also said she had an arguement with the guy doing the tile, that wasn't my problem because she hired him. When I called him, he said she told him to fill it with grout because she was running out of tile. The last I heard of her was when I called for the third time to look at some other painting mistakes, she came over, totally destroyed my dishwasher when I showed her and said I'd have a hear attack worrying over the little things and I wasn't going to pay for anything extra she was charging me because of all the bad paint work and damages to my appliances.
