We contracted with Michael Byer of Home Management Resources , to completely renovate our master bathroom, the work to be completed in less than six months while we were absent. Upon return the bathroom was only partially completed. When the shower was first used the entire bathroom flooded because of a negative pitch to the drain. It was “corrected “ and the new drain was reset and pitched improperly again. The new shower fixtures fell off the shower wall shattering the porcelain tile floor. New adjustments to the drainage was attempted and created a space between the wall and floor that was filled in with grout, that at one point was over an inch high. Backsplashes by the sinks and counters were not properly leveled so a grout line again was utilized for fill. This in spite of the fact that all walls were rebuilt and purportedly leveled and true. There was more ineptitude to list but the bottom line of this most expensive renovation was that we had to fire him, scrapping the entire job, That included redoing the the tiling, electric, plumbing and carpentry, all at our expense. There was never any recompense.
