Firstly, I don't like leaving negative feedback for anyone unless it's really warranted. I contacted Auto Tech because of the very positive feedback they had received. Even though I had no repairs done by Auto Tech I called to make an appointment a month in advance for a classic car I own. (Called November 3rd to make an appointment for December 2nd. ) The owner's reply was that I would have to call him back in two weeks because he could not commit because he was busy with other repairs. He might as well have told me that he wasn't interested in servicing my car because I don't believe you should ever tell a customer to call back. Needless to say, I will never do business with an establishment that has that has that kind of attitude.

"I was disappointed to read the review from (removed member name) on November 11, 2014. I remember distinctly speaking with him. As a matter of fact, I still have the piece of paper on which I wrote down all of his contact information. Unfortunately, when (removed member name) called we were extremely busy. I explained to him that we had very limited floor space and we already had a couple of older cars here with service issues that were taking up quite a bit of time. I further explained that I would not be able to get his car in for a couple of months. (removed member name) wanted me to schedule his car in for December. I told him I did not want to set up an appointment that I knew I would not be able to keep. After reading his response on Angie's List, I must say I am a bit surprised. I was trying to be honest with (removed member name) and not waste his time in setting up an appointment I knew I couldn't keep. I explained that I could set up a later date to work on his car or he could find someone that was able to work on it sooner. I am sure this is all just a misunderstanding but as the owner of Auto Tech, I have the responsibility of not only keeping the workflow steady, but not overbooking appointments so that vehicles are left here longer than necessary. Chuck runs an organized, neat and structured auto repair shop that has been in business for 25 years. He bends over backwards to make sure the issues/problems are resolved and is not satisfied until they are. Again, I've never been so pleased with an auto shop. I might mention that I'm a girl. That makes it even cooler that they didn't even consider taking me to the cleaners like the many other repair shops already have.
I will be back to their shop and their shop ONLY.

The repairs went well, there were a couple of surprises but nothing major. There was some delay in getting some of the parts in so they had to keep the car two days longer but since it was a second car there was no issues with that happening.

He does great work but you have to nail him down on the price and when you are going to get your car back. They are meticulous but I did not get a price for the job in advance so I was shocked when I got the final bill for around $500. I was disappointed and thought the price was astronomical. His quality of work was fantastic but the price blew me away; I had to wait at least a half-hour to get my highly itemized bill.

"Although we strive to turn around our repairs in as prompt a time frame as possible we are not in control of every aspect. This vehicle is a custom modified handicapped van and parts were not readily available and had to be ordered. We had no control of pricing due to availability. The customer seemed to understand when vehicle was finished but whished it cost less."

Chuck and his team always do a superior job. We use them as our garage of choice for all our vehicles, and we have never had an issue and they keep us running smoothly, for US and foreign cars. They aren't the lowest priced guys in town, but you get every penny of value you pay for with them. And if you live nearby, they are happy to help pick you up/drop you off when needed. All the statements are detailed and clear (Chuck is very, very organized) and they do a nice job of alerting you to service you may need in the future, so you can plan accordingly. And the team has been at AutoTech for years and years. They clean the shop up and down at the end of every work day and they call a few days after providing service to see how things are going. A great example of a well-run, small business with family values front and center. These guys deserve the ongoing appreciation they get from their long-term and loyal clients!

Highly professional and thorough. And the one time there was a problem with the work performed, it was handled and made right. Not inexpensive, but numerous coupons are available in newspapers, coupon mailers, etc. Recommended without hesitation.

They are great. They offer very personalized service and you always deal directly with the owner Chuck. They are a family run business. Chuck is extremely organized. I've never had a surprise with them. They do good work and they will come and get me or bring me back home if I need a ride. They are really nice and they are full service. They take it really seriously. They are not super cheap but that's okay because of the quality. They are the mechanic of our family.

I came in with a Minivan that had multiple issues. They diagnosed the problems correctly and got back to me, promptly for the amount of business they were doing, with estimates and other issues with the vehicle, which i was aware of but hadn't mentioned. Very thorough and professional. Their prices are competetive, but what really sets them apart is their professionalism, thoroughness, and competence.
