I had a terrible leak on a completely new roof during Sandy storm. The contractor that placed a new roof in April came after the storm and applied lot of glue at the affected area!! I new this was a temporary fix so I decided to hire independent contractor to tell me what was wrong. Michael took lot of pictures and explained in detail what happened and why. He made an estimate on what needs to be done and I immediately decided to hire him. The price was very reasonable considering that he was cleaning someone's else mess and inserting correct flashing etc. He is very competent and skilled, but most importantly honest and straightforward.

Shingle Express replaced 3 pipe collars on my roof. The work was done promptly after I contacted Michael that I wanted to have the work done. I wasn't home when the work was done and would have had no way of knowing whether the work was completed. Shingle Express left the old pipe collars so that I could see what they had replaced.

What a great experience. Helped me out immediately and are very professional. Makes it so easy when you come across the right people who knows what they doing. Definitely have my recommendation.

He showed up the day after I requested the quote in Service Magic, looked at the job, determined it could be done on the spot, gave a very fair price and was finished within an hour. Clearly knew what he was doing with gutters and roofs. He has done others in my development too.

I received 3 different estimates all around the same price, I decided to go with Shingle Express, not only was Michael priced the lowest but he really went above and beyond by explaining every detail, taking pictures of the project and keeping me in the loop via e-mail. He also offered several payment options and even offered to place a temporary (membrane cap) fix so there would be no further property damage at no charge and at no obligation to use his service, in case I didn't have the money to get the repair done right away because we were expecting bad weather (hurricane).Would use again and recommend to friends, family and neighbors.

We only had a few shingles missing. Michale Glackin sent us na e-mail explaining the cost of most small repairs. We called to have him do the repairs. He came out the next day before the rain and fixed the roof. The entire process was completed in 2 days. He did a great job. Thanks Michael

Beautiful work, did a very nice job on my roof. They striped out everything, cleaned up after the work, no staples found after the job. They were very polite, very good work. He would not come in house with his shoes, wanted everything to be clean.
