pressure washing, house painters
 + 0 moreI wanted a quote to strip the paint off of my house, so that I could repaint the house. After making many calls, Jimmy Rembecki came over, did a walk around of the house, & got back to me with a quote of $2500, 1/3 due at start of job. I paid the 1/3 job startup deposit. From that point, it took three weeks of constant phone calls to get him to come over to the house to start work. The day he showed up he brought one casual laborer (i.e. someone he calls when he has some work for them). I went to work that day thinking "Good, at least now the project is started, they should be done in a week or so & then I can get the house painted". No such luck. That was the last time I saw Jimmy Rembecki or his casual laborer. When I finally got him on the phone, after repeated phone calls, his story was "I didn't realize that it was gonna be that much work, there's no way we could get all that paint off for that money. Oh, and my 1/3 deposit money? Gone. What a rip.
Description of Work: A partial day of someone walking around with a power washer, that was it. After all of the BS he told me about how he does good work, is always on site to manage the job, and has great pride in a job well done, all I got was a partial day of some flunky waving a power washer wand around.
