Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel, General Remodeling
Please see the first box as well, a lot of this is there. Please be aware that the following account is as per my perspective and experience in this incident. From the beginning he told me that he would not take any money until the job was done and I was happy with the work. But about half way through the period that it took him to do this small job,in the early morning about 0730, he arrived to my house, parked his van behind my garage door (I found this when I tried to leave), uninvited, unexpected, & not scheduled to be there then at that time. He was using the garage door key-pad code (now disabled) to come & go when he was there. Anyway, he came in the house, through the garage as described in the previous sentence, unexpected & uninvited, and now saying he wanted to be paid two-thirds of the quote price. He had my car blocked in, I could not leave.
The final thing I would like to inform you of is the following account: During the initial interview and estimate meeting for the renovation, I talked about some other things I wanted to have done in the house, after the bathroom job was completed. Anyway, in the initial interview & estimate meeting, I showed him the other bathrooms and some other areas that needed work done, which I planned to address later on, after the hall bathroom renovations were done. I ended up not contacting him to do this work. Also, just so you know, during the weeks he was in my home, he would, at times, let our dog out to toilet and then let her back in. And I cannot say with certainty that this man is the person who did what I am about to describe. On a Thursday evening about 3-4 weeks ago now, I came home to find our little dog wet, almost dripping; she was kind of cowering on the floor & was foaming at the mouth, as she does when she is really upset. When I picked her up, I could smell it: it was urine. This little dog had urine on her head, face, and front legs. I wrung it out of her hair!! She had to have been held in place while the person did this!! I carried her upstairs to the main living level to give her a bath. I found urine on the floor in the hall bathroom that had been renovated. Also, I found urine on the floor in the shower of the master bathroom.
