Casual Carpet & Flooring

Within 24 hours of installation the linoleum began to "blister" "bubble". I phoned installer on 6/24/13 to report the problem. I again called on 6/26/13 as this problem continued to expand on the flooring. Jaime the owner was evasive on when they would be able to get to my home to amend the situation....he said "it takes time for it to lay flat". Having no response from him I visited the store on 7/5/13 and was told he would be in at 2:30 p.m. At 4:30 p.m. w/ no return call I telephoned the store. I told Jaime that I wanted this fixed "within 7 days". On 7/9/13 I phoned as the blistering and bubbling is spreading throughout the linoleum. I told him I was disappointed that he hadn't even come out to assess the situation. He said he "will be there Thursday". We are all busy I asked when "in the afternoon". I needed a more definite time and he said he will call me 1 hour before coming. It seems like this retailer knows his crew did a lousy job and is trying to avoid me due to no replies from him, no affirmative action on his part and being non-committal over when it will be corrected. I will update my post after this issue is fixed....if it does get fixed. Currently I would not rehire this flooring contractor nor recommend his products and services. I am happy to report the installers returned yesterday, 7/11/13 as scheduled, and rectified the problem. Orlando said it was bad glue. Linoleum looks great.
