Description of Work: I just purchased a home and wanted to change the locks. Mitch was very professional. He looked at all the existing locks and pointed out how they were two different manufacturers. He expertly changed the locks and made an adjustment on my front door so that the bolt lined up better with the strike plate. Believe it or not, I wasn't given a key by the seller to the door off of my balcony! Perhaps they didn't have one because it is elevated. Nevertheless Mitch was able to change out the cylinder and give me a workable key. At the end of his work, he walked me to each door to try each key out and asked if I had any questions. I appreciated the extra mile he took to be sure I was satisfied.

 + -1 moreI have a bank that belonged to my family that was about 100 years old. The type that savings banks give out to children to get them to begin saving. Over the years, someone tride to force open the bank and broke the mechanical in-sides. I took the bank to Central on the have change that they may be able to open it. The owner was intreagued with the challenge. He did not promise the job done in a day or two. It did take a while, but I was in no hurry. I just wanted it opened. Well, after some time, I got a call letting me know that the bank was open and they made a key. The mechanism is still broken, and you have to play around with the key to open it, but that is OK. It is open! I never thought that I would see it open. What a fantastic surprise. I am so happy that I went to Central Safe and Locksmith. GREAT JOB!
Description of Work: The provider did the impossible. The made a key and opened a 1920 bank that was proken.

Description of Work: I had forgotten the combination to my safe. I thought they would have to drill in the combination lock to open it ( for about $500). But instead they were able to obtain the combination from the manufacturer ( because I had never changed it ) and open it for me as well as change the combination for future references. SAved me $ 350.00 by suggesting obtaining the combination from mfg.
