Check Light came on; Oh No! ?Took car to Wilton Auto and Tire, where they had done such a great job last year . (See my review of May 2013) They ran all diagnostic tests, one full day on computer diagnostic, plus hands-on investigation. The car needed a major tune-up, it was time. It's almost 18 years old and still a great car, if well-maintained.
Willie and Don worked as fast as possible The car ran perfectly.
Two weeks later it started making a dragging sound. Back to the shop. It was something they couldn?t have seen at tune-up and isn?t included in a tune up anyway; they fixed it quickly and economically, and saved me from a huge major repair. Glad I took it back for ?a strange noise.?
Great service, very nice guys - both the owners and mechanics. It?s good to know I can count on them to be fair, very professional, and reliable.

I even used them to help me figure out some issues related to an accident we had with our vehicle after it had gone a comprehensive maintenance.

I called two days later, they had determined what the issue with the electric system was, needed to order the part and gave me an estimate. I approved the work and a few days later the car was ready to collect and has been fine since. While they do not do state inspections, I mentioned part of the issue with the car was the fact it needed its state inspection and needed this work completed first, they offered to take the car to a local station and have it inspected for me.
The day I collected the car the inspection form was in the car and ready to go.
Well done overall, will use them in the future for other automotive work.

appreciated the fast turnaround since it?s my only car and without it I?m stuck. I will definitely make Wilton Auto and Tire and my go-to garage for any car issues and for general maintenance; I have 125,000 miles and counting on a lot more. It?s great to have reliable technicians within a few miles, and to support local businesses. Prices were honest and fair. No problem there. I?d definitely recommend this auto repair company to family and friends and all Angie?s List members.
