They've got a great service manager there, Don Kirk. I've used them over the years and they are just great. They've even got a basket of super-large candy bars there for when it's all over! They're very good at communicating and keeping you up-to-date. They give you a good estimate ahead of time and review everything afterwards, very professional.

I've had tires replaced on two vehicles as well as done some minor mechanical work on a 3rd. Don and Drew are very helpful, courteous, and upfront with the work required. In all 3 instances the work performed cost exactly what was estimated and was done in the time promised. Their prices are reasonable (I saved $1000 on tires compared to the dealer!!) and the staff friendly. I recommend them without reservation.

Check Light came on; Oh No! ?Took car to Wilton Auto and Tire, where they had done such a great job last year . (See my review of May 2013) They ran all diagnostic tests, one full day on computer diagnostic, plus hands-on investigation. The car needed a major tune-up, it was time. It's almost 18 years old and still a great car, if well-maintained. Willie and Don worked as fast as possible The car ran perfectly. Two weeks later it started making a dragging sound. Back to the shop. It was something they couldn?t have seen at tune-up and isn?t included in a tune up anyway; they fixed it quickly and economically, and saved me from a huge major repair. Glad I took it back for ?a strange noise.? Great service, very nice guys - both the owners and mechanics. It?s good to know I can count on them to be fair, very professional, and reliable.

New tires and oil change.

The lug nut was stuck because the head was broken. They extracted the nut without having to replace the wheel hub. They also replaced the rim because it was cracked and ultimately the tire because it was torn apart while driving. Service was excellent. Also the price is VERY reasonable for the type of the service they provided.

I have referred family and friends and the results are always the same; fair honest pricing, reliable work professionally done. Excellent follow up. I even used them to help me figure out some issues related to an accident we had with our vehicle after it had gone a comprehensive maintenance.

I chose Wilton Auto and Tire based on other reviews and was very pleased with the overall service and quality of the work. Due to my schedule I called in advance and asked if I could drop the car off and collect it when the car was done. They were happy to accommodate me and told me to bring the car in when I had time. I took it in the next day and they remember the conversation. I left the car and they told me to check in with them in a few days when they had time to do a diagnostic on the car. I called two days later, they had determined what the issue with the electric system was, needed to order the part and gave me an estimate. I approved the work and a few days later the car was ready to collect and has been fine since. While they do not do state inspections, I mentioned part of the issue with the car was the fact it needed its state inspection and needed this work completed first, they offered to take the car to a local station and have it inspected for me. The day I collected the car the inspection form was in the car and ready to go. Well done overall, will use them in the future for other automotive work.

Willie, the service manager-shop foreman, couldn?t haven been nicer. I called in the afternoon, left my car overnight so they could test drive it cold, and by 2 PM it was ready for pick up. They had the part in stock. The car is running very smoothly now; repairs seem correctly done. I really appreciated the fast turnaround since it?s my only car and without it I?m stuck. I will definitely make Wilton Auto and Tire and my go-to garage for any car issues and for general maintenance; I have 125,000 miles and counting on a lot more. It?s great to have reliable technicians within a few miles, and to support local businesses. Prices were honest and fair. No problem there. I?d definitely recommend this auto repair company to family and friends and all Angie?s List members.

They were fair. I've had problems that were clarified like things that were broken and were not.
