Description of Work: Ridgefield Plumbing is very responsive to emergency calls, on several occasions getting someone out to my house very quickly when I had clogged toilets and other plumbing issues. When a problem turned out to be bigger, they explained very clearly what the issues were, what would have to be done, and how much it would cost and why. I've dealt with several of their individual servicemen and all have been uniformly polite, personable and easy to deal with. On the whole, Ridgefield makes me feel like they care about my problems and want to get them fixed for me as quickly, efficiently and economically as possible. In 32 years of home ownership in 2 states I've dealt with a number of different plumbing companies and Ridgefield is one of the 2 best I've ever been served by.

Description of Work: Ridgefield Plumbing came to change a faucet for us. We purchased the faucet ourselves but when we saw the mess under the sink (frozen joints, odd plumbing), we called John at Ridgefield Plumbing. We have used them before and have been very, very happy. The technician was very professional and fixed the plumbing under the sink and installed the new faucet. It was done in an hour and he left the area clean and neat.

+ -1 moreWe called Ridgefield Plumbing and Heating after my husband had tried twice to fix our dishwasher hose and several other minor plumbing problems. John called back later the same day (a Tuesday) to schedule an appointment--he was polite and knowledgeable and was available to come over by Friday. He and an assistant arrived and made quick but extremely thorough and careful fixes of all our problems. They even put disposable booties over their shoes in order not to dirty our carpet!! John's diagnoses and recommendations were right on the mark. We would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Resolution of multiple minor plumbing issues--a faulty dishwasher hose, a leaky faucet, a leak in an end cap on a well tank, a leak in the shower that was affecting the kitchen ceiling below.

They were A's all around. I think they're pretty typical of what other plumbers charge. They are really nice guys.
