Looks like a new bumper was put on.

Pleasant conversation with owner in getting the estimate.  Work was done on time and to estimate. My only quibble is that they promised a bigger discount on the detail work than they delivered.

David Theroux did an amazing.  Not only did he fix my car, he dealt with my insurance and kept me updated throughout the whole process.  He went above and beyond what I expected.  

My experience
dealing with Doug Theroux of Theroux Auto Body & Collision has
been very positive. From the time of the accident to the completion of the repair took a period of six weeks.
Mr. Theroux provides a level of customer service which is rare these
days. He took time to explain why and how my automobile would be
repaired and returned to me in a safe operating condition. Once a
week, we would go into the shop floor and review the work completed
and the remaining work to be done. The shop was well lit and clutter
free. The office area was neat, clean and contained many Thank You
notes from past customers. His employees were always friendly.
Doug Theroux kept me informed in advance about any delays affecting the completion of the
repair. When the car was released to me, the job truly was complete.
There was no need to return to the shop for additional work.

Truly, a class act! The reviews on Angie's list got me in the door, but my actual meeting with Doug Theroux was the reason I chose his shop to do my auto body work.
When I explained that the other driver (a teenager) was paying directly, Doug went out of his way to minimize cost without compromising quality. For instance, he called the car manufacturer for a discount and saved $130 on parts. (No other body shop estimate passed on those savings.) A rental car arranged through him was priced lower than I could get on my own. He also spent a lot of time with me explaining why and how the work would be done.
When I got my car back, the work he and his crew did was absolutely perfect. And, to my surprise, they had also buffed out some scuffs in the paint (caused by me clearing off snow), touched up a few nicks around the car, straightened my bent license plate, and they had washed it and waxed it.
I always dread dealing with repairs and purchases where there's a chance I can be taken advantage of -- but I never felt that way at
Theroux Auto Body. They're competent, honest, friendly, and very nice people.

I was very displeased with their work. I think they took longer on my car than they should have. Also, there was a part of my mirror that they didn't put back when they should have and one of the parts was missing in my car that they shouldn't have ever touched.

Doug was incredible and his shop did top notch work. But much more than that, he made the entire process as easy and convenient as such an experience can be. All I had to do was call my insurance company and start a claim, and Doug took over from there. He handled all the dealings with the insurance company and arranged my rental car. Basically, I dropped my car at his shop and drove away in my rental . . . and returned 3 days later to drop off the rental and pick up my beautifully repaired car. Zero hassles of any kind. And he squeezed me in in a week before I left for travel.
But much more than that is his attitude and integrity. Doug's excellent service is rooted in his honest, ethical personality, hard work and pride in his work and service. He is driven to satisfy his customers and make their experience as painless and hassle-free as possible. I've dealt with more than a few body shops over many decades, and never have had an experience quite like this. And as I said, their work is top notch. My car looks like new, and he has contacted me twice since to see if I'm still satisfied with the job.
It is a delight to deal with a business that still word the old fashioned way. Honest, ethical, great work and firmly rooted in the community, with personal and professional relationships. I recently sustained damage to the rear bumper and driver's side rear light assembly in a hit and run incident.  I own a very carefully maintained 5 year old BMW 128i.  Mr. Theroux provides a standard of service that surpasses my previous experience with auto body repair.  He came out to my home very promptly after the accident and provided a fair and accurate assessment of the extent of repair required and what it would cost.  A day later he appeared, again at my residence in West Hartford, with a rental car, and drove my vehicle to his facility for repair.  My insurer unfortunately caused him some exasperation but he patiently negotiated the entire process.  My vehicle was returned to me after full interior and exterior detailing, looking better than it has in a while.
Mr Theroux appears to work tirelessly to maintain a very high standard of service in his line of work.  I would strongly encourage you to get in touch with him if you live in CT and need body work done.  A real gentleman.

IIt was a pleasure dealing with Doug and his team at Theroux Auto Body.  After a fender-bender, my front bumper needed to be replaced, along with a few interior pieces.  I had never been in a car accident before, and Doug was extremely helpful in helping me have my inspection done for my insurance and in taking care of just about everything through this process.  They responded right away to my inquiry sent through Angie's List and helped to set up a rental car for me to use while my car was being repaired; the rental was there to meet me when I dropped my car off with them, and they even returned it for me when my car was ready.  I'm confident that good parts were ordered to fix my car and replace what was damaged, and my car now looks even better than it did before my accident thanks to the excellent job they did detailing and cleaning it up!  Many thanks to Theroux Auto for their excellent and friendly service!  Would absolutely take my car here again if I needed any future repairs.

Excellent service above and beyond expectancy and usual
market practice, this sums up my experience with Theroux Auto Body. The owner
Doug Theroux took the time to explain the process and the work to be performed
and more importantly followed through it to the finish, making sure I was
satisfied with the final product. Beyond that he dealt with the insurance
company to the point that he actually drove to Southington Police Department to
pick up a copy of the accident report and faxed it to the insurance company, so
they can expedite the evaluation and payment for the work that was performed. I
would definitely recommend them to anyone needing body work.  Theroux Auto Body not only repaired the damaged
but took care of a few small body scrapes and dents and finished by detailing
the whole care, you definitely don?t see that anymore

When I first arrived at the shop I noticed how clean and well maintained the property, building, landscaping, and interior customer service area were. The staff instantly greeted me, and I had thought I would need to make an appointment and need to come back to drop the truck off, however was pleasantly surprised when they said they could start the work that day. I gave them all the paperwork my insurance company provided me with the initial adjusters report and insurance money for the repairs. They explained the whole process to me and added that there will be additional findings that they will report to the insurance company for amendments to the initial report and supplemental claims. They explained not to worry, that they would handle the insurance company directly and if I was contacted by my insurance company to refer them to the shop. They then got everything set with the rental company and arranged a rep from the rental company to pick me up to get the car and get on with my day.  
Needless to say, this initial experience was effortless and easy from first handshake to the wave goodbye. To say the staff is professional and friendly does them no justice. I felt like I was treated as family.
About 2 days later I received a phone call from the owner, Doug Theroux, apologizing for not being at the shop to introduce himself and meet me when I dropped the truck off due to being away for a few days.  He wanted to make himself available to answer any questions I had or address any concerns, and provided me his personal cell phone number to contact him directly should any questions or otherwise arise. This dedication to his business and personal involvement blew my mind and I cannot stress how impressed I was to receive this call.  
I had purchased a replacement "Off-road" heavy duty style front bumper to replace the original damaged one on my truck, and when I say heavy duty I should stress HEAVY.  Apparently "bolt-on installation" was far from the truth for the bumper but that's for another review on a different site. Doug and his crew busted their rears to get this bumper not just installed, but installed properly and to perfection visually. Doug took many photographs of this process, which included 3 of them lifting and placing this bumper for measurements and mock fits to ensure a proper mounting. The front frame they skillfully straightened had to be cut at a precise angle which took off most of their hard work.  Doug called me with a status update at the end of the week and filled me in on this bear of a process and wanted to make sure I understood the modifications that would need to be made to trim pieces and other details.  
After the weekend, work resumed, and I had received a call midweek the that the truck was nearing completion and a further status report of what was found, how the supplemental insurance was taken care of, and that the truck was looking pretty impressive.  He also mentioned that they found a small dent in a passenger side door that I was unaware of, possibly from a parking lot, and that they did their best to repair it for me as well. Well come to find out, they did a 360 degree touch up on the truck which I will detail further later.
I arrived at the shop the next afternoon to pick up the truck and to say I was blown away by how it looked is another understatement.  I met two other technicians (and one friendly pup!) in the parking lot that were laughing with and telling me about what a bear it was to mount but how it makes the truck. Inside I was greeted by Doug who was more than eager to show off the truck and the fine work they did, with the photos of the process. The truck has not looked this good since I took delivery from the factory despite my best efforts at detailing over the years. The paint was pristine, nicks and dings touched up and invisible.  Oh, and 360 degree detail to the exterior -- well they did the interior too which I truly was not expecting.  The truck was spotless, and the attention to detail was clearly evident.  They treated my truck as if it was their own, with a level of service that is rarely seen today. 
To say I highly recommend this company is an understatement.  Doug had called the beginning of the following week to see how I and the truck were and if there were any issues.  After some friendly conversation, he asked if there was anything else he could do for me... I only asked if he could mail me some business cards.
 Professional, friendly, personal attention and care, and attention to detail.  The level of service and treating myself and my truck as family truly sets this shop apart from the others I have dealt with in the past. Should the need arise they will continue to get my business, and yours and your family's as well.
Quick final note: The price for repairs is mostly what my insurance company paid for the repairs. I was made almost entirely whole by purchasing the aftermarket bumper on my own, plus the Angie's list member discount. Their prices are very fair and the quality of the work and level of service is worth every penny!

Doug and his team are very professional and friendly.  We were going on vacation and needed the SUV. They had to order a replacement rear bumper, replace it and repair other damage I incurred as a result of backing into a tree (pretty hard!).  They got the work done in 24 hours and it looked like it had just come off the showroom floor!  Excellent work and I have and will recommend them to friends.

Excellent.  Customer Service OFF THE CHARTS! Doug Thoreaux personally oversaw every step and detail, directly contacting both my insurance company and the paying insurance company to ensure everything was smooth and punctual.  Matched paint perfectly (to rest of vehicle).  Arranged with insurance companies for transportation and a rental vehicle.  Very communicative and extremely patient with my toddlers during the little wait we had (thanks to the blizzard!)  We have moved further away, but I will drive the distance to take my vehicles back to Doug for body work!

Doug Theroux is very "old school" and does a repair job right from beginning to end.  From help dealing with the adjuster to setting up a rental vehicle he handles everything, and does so very well.  Theroux makes every effort to get you the right parts at the right price and makes sure the insurance company pays to repair your car back the way it was pre-accident.
Our family has used him several times over the last 6 years and each time he has handle everything very well and we were happy with the final product.

It could not have gone better. I received an estimate immediately. Doug arranged to have a rental car delivered to my home and he and the Enterprise driver took my car into the shop. The repairs were done on time and the car was returned to me at my home. When I got it back I noted that Doug had not only fixed the required repairs, but he had also ordered a chrome strip to repair one with an inexplicable ding in it on the side of the car and he also had repaired scrapes to my other bumper as well. The car was washed, waxed and in perfect condition when it was returned. No one gives this type of service, and it was all done with a smile. I highly recommend this company.

Well for a person living in w. Haven CT the commute was 45 min. to the repair shop.  Doug T. was kind enough to return the rental car for me to the rental company so that I would not have that long commute.  When I called the shop the owner was very accommodating to help me understand the procedure of what he was going to do, I was a little nerveous because this was all new to me.  I haven't had to deal with repair of a car in over 10 years.  Overall I think it went well.  Mr. Theroux was professional, courteous and very respectful.           U do understand the work was not performed at my home.

They were very good and I rate them highly. The job went very well. They were intelligent, professional and explained what they were going to do. This company did a good job because my car is fine. They were very punctual and responsive. I don't think they were the cheapest people around but they did a good job.

But making the repairs was only part of the whole experience. From the start, Doug took over making all the arrangements that are part of the repair process: meeting with the claims adjuster and arriving at an award that covered all costs; arranging for a rental car to be picked up and returned at his shop, taking the car to a new car dealer for replacement of seat belts and resetting of the air bag mechanism. Not only that, but he kept us in the loop regarding progress with the repairs, with phone calls explaining what he was doing and why. It was very important to him that we understood the nature and extent of the damages and how he would be going about fixing them. We felt completely informed and well represented throughout the entire process.

I thought I was going to have to spend a bundle to get a new bumper on my very old car. Instead they suggested a quick fix that I was perfectly happy with. They even cleaned my headlights, fixed the side mirror and washed the car. Then Doug said he didn't do much and didn't want to charge me. Best service I think I have had in at least a decade. I dropped in unannounced for an estimate on body work. Doug was very careful and thorough in preparing and explaining the estimate. He was very accommodating with the schedule to suit my needs - he prepared the bumper ahead of time to minimize the time my car would be in the shop, and I was able to drop off and pick up after hours. Not only did the work look beautiful, but the car was cleaned inside and out. He was thoroughly professional and pleasant throughout, and I was very pleased with the experience.

I called to get them to have it towed and he said that would take far too long so he drove out to where I was, removed the bumper and did not charge me a dime. It was great service.
