Custom Colonial Painting

We are more than pleased with the quality and work they put into our project. Crew very responsive and polite to customer needs and detail oriented. This old house is now a picture perfect beauty.

I am a perfectionist and love my beautiful home, Custom colonial was more expensive than the other quotes I received, but i wanted the best and I was not disappointed. The work is flawless and they were very accommodating and anxious to please. My exterior doors are stained and some were not in great shape and they did an excellent job sanding and restoring them to look as good as possible. I Highly recommend them.

Hired company to repaint/do minor repairs to the stucco exterior of my house. They were quick and did a great job on the painting, repair, and clean-up. House looks beautiful and I would definitely hire them again.

Hired company for exterior painting of trim (windows, eaves, soffits, etc.) and porches of an old, tall house (some painting companies didn't want the job due to height). AJ scheduled our job quickly. AJ was accommodating and the painters were hard working, friendly and polite. AJ's quote was very fair. We hope to secure Custom Colonial for future projects.

Painting crew over-ordered custom paint by 2 gallons; not a big deal. Overall excellent careful work on our challenging interior. Highly recommended.

They are reasonably priced. However, you get what you pay for. The work was carelessly done. Paint was dripped and deep scratches were made all over our newly sanded floors. There was paint in all of our sinks, shades were taken down and left tangled, and window grates were broken. There were entire areas that were missed when they were painting. They seemed to have difficulty following directions and areas were painted the wrong colors. To be fair, we did change plans a few times, but we sent clear instructions via email to make sure there was no misunderstanding. STILL it was done incorrectly. I did ask the owner to come back to address some of these issues and he did come. He was, however, defensive about it, denied that any damage had been done by his men (no one else was in the house) and blamed us when the job was done incorrectly. It should also be known that they do sub their work out, so you never know who is going to show up to do the work. It seems that these guys take on work, then run out of time and rush it at the end. (See other reviews). In the end, it wasn't worth the money we saved.

Overall, very happy with the work that was done. Crew was great especially Paulie and Jose, very polite and meticulous. They made me love my home again!

The crew worked quickly and efficiently - got a lot done each day. Worked past quitting time on the last day to finish up. They did a great job - I would highly recommend them.

They are not the least expensive but thy are the best value for the money. They use their own crew and don't sub the job out.

AJ was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Crew was polite and conscientious and did a great job. House looks great. Last day was rushed and a couple of loose ends which I took care of because our carpenter held them up fixing some clapboards and trim boards. Would definitely recommend them. Excellent value for the money and would definitely use them again.

A bit of a rush on the final day, so a couple loose ends that had to be addressed. Other than that prompt, professional, and tidy. The old shingled house looks new. Worth the money.

The team painted our homes interior last fall and the exterior last week. They were excellent and very professional. It is clear that quality of workmanship is their first priority. I will be using them again in the future without question.

They came when they said they would, did the work as promised and finished ahead of schedule. Highly recommend them.

AJ showed up on time for a quick and free on-the-spot estimate. Quoted a fair price, had a very good crew, was willing to use owner supplier paint, and helped with some minor repairs not in the original estimate. Listened to concerns and addressed them immediately. Did a complete and thorough job and left the job-site spotless.

Custom Colonial was very professional from start to finish. What made me choose them was they were willing to listen to my concerns, note them and make sure my concerns were taken care of. They went above and beyond to make sure my house was perfect and everything that was discussed was taken care of. The site was left immaculate, including removal of all scraped material. I have looked over and over for a flaw in their work and have yet to find any. I am extremely happy with the work they did and honestly would recommend them to anyone. I will be using them again. They started right away and finished the job promptly. They were polite,accomodating ,efficient and neat. Their price was extremely reasonable. I plan to use them again and would reccomend them to anyone.
