He did not pay attention when the project was described to him. On completion, there were missing pieces which we pointed out to him. He became extremely defensive and walked away. A little later his wife called us and threatened to sue us if we did not pay him the entire $1,400. She insulted us and called us cheap and dishonest. We had to convince him to come back and complete the work, which he finally agreed to do in a much more scaled down fashion. We did not pursue the case any further because he was so old and we were scared that he would have had a heart attack, but we will obviously not deal with him again. He did shoddy work and had a very high opinion of himself. He in punctual but communcation and professionalism is horrible. We live in a small town and he went around town spreading a bad name for us. Wouldn't recommend working with him.
