gutter repair

From the start, communication was very difficult. I received an email letting me know the work would be done by a subcontractor since they had sold so many deals, and was given a number to call. The subcontractor was difficult to reach. After several attempts, we received an estimate. The estimate was a crude drawing on a notepad with no measurements or details except for the price. However, when trying to get the work scheduled, it took 2 and a half months before any work was done. I contacted the primary contractor a couple of times, and found them to always be kind. However, they were hoping the subcontractor would step up and address my concerns. Eventually, 55 feet of gutter was replaced along with one downspout. Other work in the estimate was not performed. I attempted to resolve this with the subcontractor, but he kept insisting that any additional work would cost me more money than I had already paid. They did come out and add a 1.5 foot section that they had overlooked, so I now have 56.5 feet of new gutter, but I should have had enough with the coupon value to do much more. J's Seamless Gutters and Downspouts invoiced me for 77 feet of new gutter down one side of my house when my house is only 56.5 feet long! And did I mention the seam in my new "seamless" gutter? I asked the subcontractor why the seam was there, and was told he would have to check with the guy who actually did the installation and get back to me! Too much drama for a "Big Deal" that should have been a simple job. I invite any disbelievers to come by and see seam in the seamless gutters and measure the length of the new installation. I measured twice just to be sure myself.
Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal in order to replace the gutters on my home that had been damaged by hail. At first, I planned on replacing all the gutters so I bought the maximum of three coupons to have $600 to spend on gutter replacement. At the price quoted on the coupon ($6 per foot installed) this would have just about covered my needs of 112 feet of gutter replacement. However, the Big Deal was super successful, so this subcontractor was called in to do the work. When the owner came out to estimate the work, he left a much higher estimate. I later sorted out that the problem was he was charging me $8 per foot for a larger width gutter than the one on the coupon. Since I had the larger width gutter on my house, I accepted that I would not have enoughto do the whole job and decided to replace one side of the house only. In the end, 56.5 feet of new gutter was installed along with one 10' downspout. However, I was invoiced for 77 feet of gutter and 13 feet of downspout. By my count, I did not receive the full value of my coupon. The primary contractor and Angie's list stepped up to offer solutions when I took my complaints to them, but this subcontractor does poor work, is difficult to reach, and cannot do basic math. I do not want this this subcontractor on my property again!
