My experience with Waste Management is strikingly similar in key ways to the review and grade of "F" posted by someone else in December 2015. I was a customer of Waste Management for more than 15 years, but their increasingly lackluster billing practices and refusal to waive a "reinstatement of service fee" that I incurred - for the second time - because of those poor billing practices caused me to cancel my service. Keep in mind, this was a business relationship that has been in place since the late 1990s. I have paid this company more than $8,000 during my lifetime and they decided it wasn't worth waiving a $45 fee to keep a longtime customer happy. That speaks volumes. It's a shame, too, because the people who pick up the trash were always accommodating and on time. But the billing office is bad and getting worse, and the company clearly doesn't value its customers. I'm signing up with a different company this week and looking forward to a more mutually respectful relationship.
