This was the best company to deal with. They guarantee their work and they did an outstanding job, I highly recommend for quality of service, timely response and fair pricing.

So that was a little bit annoying. They could have fixed it on the first trip. When they come to find out they don't need that part anyway.

He did a wonderful job of fixing it for what I thought was a very reasonable price. He also cleaned up well after the job was finished.

Paul diagnosed the problem over the phone (clogged defrost drain) and said he could do the job, but if I want he could just tell me how to fix it myself. He explained what to do and I even called him back for further instructions once I was doing the repair. I fixed it with his advice, at no charge. I'll definitely call him in the future!

I called on Monday afternoon and Paul set up an appointment to come over on Wednesday morning. He arrived within the window of time he gave me and went right to work after receiving some background information. He checked several different options for what could be the problem and determined that it was an electrical issue and I needed an electrician to complete the job. I asked for a referral which he gave me and I was able to contact him. There were a couple other items he pointed out that could be fixed, but were not necessary to keep it running as soon as the electrical issue was completed. He also did a few tweeks that will help it run safer once it is running again at no extra charge over the service call. I appreciated his honesty and general good nature. I will definitely be calling him again for any future issues I might have.

Paul came to our house at the end of his day (7:30pm) and stayed until he fixed our washer at 8:45. We had been told that we would need a new washer but Paul was able to fix it for a very reasonable price. We had just moved into our new house and had been without our washer for a couple of weeks so Paul's dedication was very much appreciated. Paul arrived within 24 hours of our initial call and the soonest other people we called could come was a week. Paul did a great job in a timely manner and we could not have been happier with the quality of his work and professionalism. We highly recommend Tubby Appliance.

Paul was fantastic! He came the day we called and fixed our leaking fridge. He was professional, punctual and knowledgeable. We also had to call him after the work because something wasn't working properly. He came right away that day and fixed it up again with no additional charge. We will definitely utilize him again.

So who knew doing a self-clean would be so destructive to an oven? During a brief moment of cleaning frenzy one day, I performed a self-clean on my 2003 Whirlpool double oven. I've done this several times in the past, but this was the first time that the oven stopped working after going through the cool down phase. After doing some online research, I realized that the thermal fuse in the back of the oven notoriously blows when performing self-cleans. My husband and I purchased the fuse online and replaced it ourselves. Unfortunately, this did not fix the problem (btw, the fuse did blow). We feared that the control panel was out as well. I found Paul via Angie's list and gave him a call. I was so elated he had time to come by the next day to take a look at the oven. He told me he would come with another repairman friend of his to help get the oven out of the wall. Well, these two guys were the nicest and rather humorous fellows you ever would want to meet in the repair business. They were very knowledgable and narrowed the problem down to a small part (another fuse or diode of some sort) behind the control panel. Fortunately, they had the part on hand. They replaced it and viola! My ovens are working! Just a side note, before my husband and I tried to fix this ourselves, I had called a Whirlpool repair business and it was more than a week before they could even come out and see me. I was getting a bit nervous about the this, as it's getting close to Thanksgiving and I've got company coming. I needed my oven. Anyway, I would definitely use Paul's services again. It was a pleasant and very reasonably priced experience. He is not the type of guy to take advantage of someone's lack of appliance repair knowledge. Very honest.

Paul showed up about 1 hour before his scheduled appt.and called me first to make sure that would be okay with me. What a surprise. He came in and started right to work on my dishwasher and spent almost 3 hours finding the problem and fixing it for me. He gave me a few pointers on maintenance and use of my dishwasher. Service, integrity and skills are still alive in Paul Tubbs of Tubby Appliance. I called Paul on a Sunday because my refrigerator had stopped working on Saturday. He agreed to come to my house and diagnose the problem. He arrived on time. He spent at least two hours working on the refrigerator. He performed every diagnostic test possible. Unfortunately my refrigerator wasn?t fixable. Paul directed me to various options for replacement. Paul had the skills to diagnose the problem. He had the integrity to tell me what he could and couldn?t do to fix the problem. He provided a timely service and communicated well. His price for this work was reasonable and well within what he quoted. I highly recommend Paul Tubbs and Tubby Appliance. I will definitely use him for my appliance repair in the future.
