Terrible customer service. If you are not going to honor a coupon, why advertise them? I'm cancelling my membership to Angie's List.

After the difficulty of actually getting through to Tubby and scheduling an appointment they showed up almost 2 hours later than what we had talked about. Upon arrival they checked out the two appliances I needed to get looked at and I was given an outrageous price to fix some very small parts. After I told the guy I wasn't going to pay such a ridiculous amount, I had to pay him $60 for just coming out to my house and after he left I ended up coming up with a way to fix the appliances myself and found the parts I needed on amazon.com for much cheaper.

Day 1 Josh determined that we needed a part. He came back the next evening and repaired the trash compactor. He accommodated my schedule and came by in the evening. That was definitely above and beyond. He was very professional and made sure everything was all cleaned up perfectly when he was done.

I could only assume it was a water line to the fridge issue (had major water damage because of it). Spoke to Paul on Tuesday, he arrived on Wednesday for the service call. He was able to address and fix the damage the same day, and Tubby's Appliances made this first-time homeowner's life much easier with the professional and efficient work he performed. I will refer Tubby's Appliances to friends and use them again in the future (but hopefully, I won't have to!) Thank you, Paul!

Service was scheduled in a timely manner, Paul arrived in the time frame that was scheduled, his service was excellent, efficient, and professional. He immediately identified the problem, the parts needed, picked them up, and installed them later the same day. One part was not available and had to be ordered. Paul followed up on that and when the part was available he was flexible in scheduling time to finish that last part of the work. In addition, Paul provided helpful information on appliance repairs in general and what I might be able to anticipate for repairs in the future given the age of my other appliances. I would recommend Tubby Appliance to others and would use them again in the future.

No one showed up for our first appointment. When I called, they explained that the appointment times were a two-hour window, but that was not what I was told when we made the appointment. We rescheduled, and the repairman showed up for the second appointment. He said he'd order parts that would take about three weeks to come in. It has been over three weeks now. I've called twice, and the woman who answers said the repairmen return calls within a day, but I have not received any calls back. I've now gone a month without the dishwasher and have to start over on getting it repaired. The communication has been a joke.

Josh showed up on August 3rd and knew right away what the problem was. He indicated that he would order the part and then call me back. Flash forward two weeks--I still hadn't heard from him, so I called Tubby. I shared that I was waiting for a part and that I really needed help. The person on the phone told me that the part would be in on Friday, August 28th and that a repair person would come fix my refrigerator on Monday August 31 between 3 and 5. At about 6:00, there was no repairperson, so I called Tubby Appliance again. I spoke with Josh who was very nice and apologetic but said that there was no record of an appointment and that he would call me first thing in the morning (today). No call from him or from Tubby Appliance. How did this business get any A grades? A waste of my time, unfortunately.

He was just wanting to help so badly. He did a wonderful job. He said that if there's any problem, I can call and they will be back. The dryer did the same thing that it was doing before. I called but they weren't able to come last week. He's coming this morning again. With that being said, they have been wonderful to work with. They did a great job on the refrigerator. We don't have the dryer fixed yet. They've been wonderful to talk to. The came who came out was Josh. You could tell that he very much wanted to get everything to our specifications.

I called Paul when looking for someone to come out ASAP to repair a pump in my washer/dryer unit in my Condo. He was the first one I spoke with who was willing to go out of his way to look at the unit even though he was already extremely busy which was much appreciated. He ended up coming out on a Saturday in between two separate appointments. At first, I described the issue and he was willing to tell me one thing to look at (something that happens a lot that could be causing the issue) so that I could save the cost of him coming out. This didn't end up working but the thought was greatly appreciated. He ended up needing to come out and prior to doing so, he made sure to pick up and bring with him a new pump as this was the most likely cause of the issue. Again, greatly appreciated. Not only was Paul responsive and just plain nice to talk to (coming from a landlord, this is rare to find in service professionals), Paul was also punctual and thoughtful which in the end made this repair as easy and seamless as it ever could have been. I will certainly be calling Paul with any future appliance related issues for both my rental property and personal residence. Highly Recommended!!

Paul responded timely to my initial inquiry and was very flexible with service dates and times. Paul isolated the problem with the dryer quickly and fixed the problem in 2 hours. We would hire Paul again.

Our refrigerator was having trouble cooling and evaporator fan was audibly struggling. I searched Angie's List and attempted to purchase a coupon for his service. There were some technical issues on the website and after 3 transfers with Angie's List phone support, the issue was resolved. I purchased the coupon, called him up and reached his answering service who took the message but also told me Paul was booked. As I was about to start searching for another repairman, Paul called me himself and told me he could fit me in. In the afternoon, he came to take a look. He said he would have to order the parts, but that the refrigerator would last a few more days. When he came back, he replaced the parts quick and efficiently. After changing the fan, he told me I didn't need to swap the board, but I decided to swap it too and not take a chance. He was professional from the get go, but after spending some time talking with him, I observed he was a genuinely caring person who would try to help the customer in whatever way he could. With the coupon, the initial call was free and $50 off on parts. He had a flat labor rate of $200 and the parts totaled $150. He took an additional $25 off since I helped him move the fridge. So $200 + $150 - $75 came out to $275 total. I would highly recommend Paul to service your appliances and will continue to call on him for my future needs.

My washer quit working Sunday night. I called Tubby Appliance the next morning, Monday, and was able to get an appointment for 1:00-3:00 on that day. The technician (Paul) showed up promptly at 1:00 and diagnosed the problem. They went to get the replacement pump and came back and installed it on the same day. Everything was fixed by 4:00 PM. Three hours from arrival, to diagnosis to replacement piece installed. I'm thrilled. Will be calling Tubby Appliance whenever my appliances are not working. LG had a couple companies listed on their website, but those companies all had bad ratings on Angie's List. So glad I called Tubby Appliance. Would highly recommend them.

From beginning to end, they were very helpful. My dishwasher was leaking badly and when I called Tubby's they promptly came to my house and pulled the dishwasher out. They found the hoses had been chewed through by mice. They replaced the hoses the same day. A few weeks later, I was having the same issue. They came out again (with no additional charge) and inspected my dishwasher. The mice had not gone away and ate through the hoses again. After calling a pest control company and waiting two weeks, Tubby's came back again to my place to replace the hoses. Even though they came out to my place for a total of 3 times, they never charged any additional fee. I would highly recommend them!

We had to get our oven repaired and Tubby appliance came over and spent all day trying to fix it leaving a few times to get parts and at the end of the day he only charged us for what we paid in the coupon and the parts we ended up using. Very professional! Would recommend them to anyone!

Our technician (Jason) was very systematic and thorough as he checked out the problem. He was also very courteous, answering our questions as he checked out our oven. He found the problem and showed it to my husband, who does many of our own repairs. He did not rush through the job and slowly eliminated one problem after another. I mostly appreciated his honesty and integrity. That goes a long way with customers. I definitely plan to use Tubby Appliance again. Thanks!!

Josh checked all the features of the washer, verified that they are all operating as designed, and gave us some tips to get the best performance. (We have been disatisfied with the long cycle times and the need to rebalance frequently, but have confirmed that these issues come along with the HE design.) Josh was very thorough, explained what he planned to do and went over it all after finishing. Unfortunately he found that our disatisfaction is with the HE type design, and not due to any problem with the machine or the way we are using it. He explained that the operation of our washer is typical for HE washers. We were very satisfied with Josh's work andwill recommend Tubby and Josh to others.

Poor scheduling experience. The receptionist knows nothing. I asked the receptionist if she needed the make/model of my washer and details on what was not working and she said no, that the service tech would get that information when he/she arrived. Also, when I asked if the service tech would call in advance to confirm that they were on their way, she said that they might call, but she wasn't sure. How does a receptionist not know this information before hand?

I had 3 appliances that were 3 different brands. He was knowledgeable about all of them. I felt like he was very honest with us and did a great job! I will definitely be keeping his number and would recommend him to everyone!

My fridge has been making a squeaking noise during cooling for months now and since it kept getting worse, I called in Paul. He was excellent! He arrived right on time and immediately went to work. He diagnosed the problem with the condenser fan and called in a replacement part. He then switched out the fan and was done quickly. He was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable! The fridge is running beautifully without any noise.

Repaired but worked shortly as screws popped out and damaged some parts. Tubby Appliance came back at no charge and repaired as only had to buy new parts.

The repairman that came to our home was prompt, neat, and courteous. The problem, however, was mis-diagnosed and wrong parts were ordered. We had to wait for those parts. When it was discovered that this did not fix the problem, another more expensive part was ordered. It finally arrived and Tubby came out installed it, fixing the problem. All is well that ends well, but getting this problem fixed took a lot longer than we would have liked. The quality of the workmanship seemed good. The cost of the repair was high, but a lot of that was due to the cost of the part.

Josh arrived at the scheduled time and set about his work. Pulled the dryer apart, lubricated a bearing and did a much needed clean out of the interior. Put it back together and the noise was still their. We discussed what he could do further and I gave him the go ahead to replace the blower unit. He returned the next day to install new parts and the dryer is now operating smoothly. I recommend this company, they are responsive, punctual and very careful.

Josh was terrific. He came to the house a few days before to assess the problem, ordered the part and repaired it. He also cleaned out parts of the machine that had never seen the light of day and it is working better than it ever has. Josh was professional and friendly. He's our guy from now on!
