Shannon was very polite scheduling the appointment. She had to call back to reschedule due to a conflict, so the appointment was set for Tuesday, 6/5/12. On Monday (6/4) someone from Dawn Windows called my wife and asked a bunch of questions. She said he was rather short with her and said "we don't do glass replacement." My wife explained that we needed two large picture windows replaced, not just the glass. He seemed rather frustrated and finally said "I guess I'll have to come out." Later in the afternoon I received a call from Ken confirming the appointment for Tuesday at 5:30. A short time later Ken called back and spoke with my wife, again asking questions about what we needed done. When she told him again that we needed two windows replaced, he said they have a five window minimum, but when my wife explained they are picture windows about 5'x6', he reluctantly agreed to keep the appointment. Frustrated at the number of calls and apparent lack of interest in gaining our business, I called Ken back and cancelled. His response was simply "ok." We gave Dawn windows the opportunity to not only earn our business now, but earn our future business and a positive review, but unfortunately not only will they not get our future business, they now have another negative review.

I was impresssed at how knowledgeable the installation crew was. They were neat, courteous, detail oriented and fast! The door was installed perfectly and it works great. I was asked to pay the tax when the job was completed. I told them there was nothing on the Angie's list contract that stated I need to pay the tax. I wrote the check and called Ron the next day. He apologixed and said he would refund my check. When it arrived, it was for more than my original check. On the bottom Ron wrote "have dinner on me" Now that is what i call great customer service! I will definatley use them again!

From start to finish, Dawn Windows was professional and on time. I purchased a Angie's List "Big Deal" for a new sliding glass door, and was contacted the next day by someone from their office to set up a measurement at my residence. A few days later the measurement was done and the window was ordered. Approximately three weeks later the window arrived, and they installed it the next day. Overall, a great experience with this company, and I will definitely be back in the future for all of my window needs!

Everything was great! Ron, the owner, stopped by to provide the estimate for the windows. About 4 days later, Darrel arrived to measure the space for our custom Amerimax windows and door. The measurements were within a 1/4 of an inch. Since the windows where custom, it took about 3 weeks to manufacture the products. Once the windows where assembled, Darrel's crew promptly began installing the windows and door. One window was was especially difficult to remove due to it's weight and accessibility. Darrel called in an extra team member to assist with the window. Further into the installation, the crew noticed that one of the Amerimax windows was not build correctly. I was alerted of this promptly. Darrel said that Amerimax was informed and they were going to "fast track" the new window and it will be ready in about 3 days. Once the other windows and door were installed, the crew cleaned up everything. Of course they really didn't make a huge mess to begin with at the house. In regards to the re-ordered window, about 3 days later Darrel called to schedule an installation date. The replacement window was installed 2 days later at no additional cost to me. Overall, I really appreciated the customer service and courteousness of Dawn's Windows. I felt that my interests was at hand from the beginning. We have more windows that need to be replaced and I know we'll be calling Ron with Dawn's Windows to get the job done. Thanks!

All those positive reviews were no exaggeration! From the first phone call to the actual installation I couldn't have asked for better service or a better price! I took advantage and purchased an Angie's List "Big Deal" for 5 windows. When Ron came out, I had him give me an estimate for the whole house and was so pleased with the price that I wound up doing all ten windows, including my bay window. I got a great deal and great service when they came out to install my windows. They were prompt, clean, professional, friendly and efficient! I felt very comfortable having them in my home. I definitely recommend Dawn Windows whole-heartedly!!

I contacted this company based on positive referrals from Angie's List. They were very responsive, and their pricing was in the middle of the range of estimates I received. Once I signed the contract, they sent out their installers, who measured the openings themselves, and confirmed the order with me. The order was received faster than expected, and the installers quickly returned to do the installation, in fact, while I was out of town. Their lead installer, Darrell, even texted me with the status, once they were done with the installation. They did an excellent job, and I am very pleased with the final product.

I spent $10,000 on the job. I was completely satisfied with them. They were timely and clean. I would use them again.

The entire experience was excellent. We initially met with Ron to finalize our order and he was friendly and direct. No fluff, just honest and direct, which we really appreciated. Ron let us know at that time that it would take 3 to 4 weeks from that time to get the windows measured, made, and installed. After that Daryll and Vince came to measure our windows. They were friendly, quiet, and professional. The windows were ready to be installed within 3 to 4 weeks just as Ron had expected. When Daryll and Vince came to install the windows they were, once again, friendly, quiet and professional. We are SO please with their workmanship. The windows were installed flawlessly, Daryll and Vince cleaned up so well it was like they were never there, except that my ugly old windows were magically replaced by new ones. We are very happy with windows and the overall experience and will definitely be calling Dawn Windows again when we are ready to replace the rest of the windows in our home.

I was very impressed with the work done by Ron's professional installers. They were extremely polite, clean and personable. They communicated with me whenever there was a hint of delay due to weather and finished the job, with all promised repairs to my rotting window sills with no hassle whatsoever. Ron quoted me a final price, and he wasn't kidding. Dawn Windows was the 4th window company we received a quote from, AND THE LAST!! I highly recommend this company if you are looking for high quality and value. If you are looking for a fancy showroom, go pay at least $10,000 (that's right, $10,000!!) more to somebody else. Friends had warned me about the hassle of getting windows replaced, but this went about as smoothly as possible! The old windows on my house had virtually no insulation and my heating and cooling bills reflected that. Besides, they were ugly and a lot of them were inoperable or painted closed. I interviewed a few window replacement companies and decided to go with Dawn because of the great warranty, expert installation and very reasonable price. The estimate process was very convenient (Ron came out to the house - he was available for evening and weekend appointments), and fast. By the end of the appointment I had my quote and was qualified for the financing, should I decide to take it. Ron explained the options thoroughly and with no high-pressure sales pitch, which I appreciated. Once I decided to go with Dawn Windows, the installer called me right away to set up an appointment for measuring. The order went out and about 6 weeks later the windows came in. I'm very pleased with the quality of the Amerimax windows. They are manufactured locally, which sped up the process. Two of the windows turned out to be the incorrect size but it only took about a week for the new correct ones to come in. The difference between the new and old windows in terms of insulation, ease of use, and aesthetics is unbelievable. The installers were fantastic. The old steel windows are apparently pretty hard to pry out, and then a whole new frame has to be built. They were clearly experts at this and the new frames look beautiful. They took down and then reinstalled the blinds on each window (I was expecting to have to do that myself, so I was sure glad when they did it without my asking!) Each day they cleaned up everything and kept the waste on a tarp in the backyard until the end of the job when they hauled it all away. The only delays were 1. two windows had to be reordered, and 2. several snow days on which the installers couldn't work. I did find some glass and old hardware in the yard after the snow melted - a minor complaint. Overall, Dawn Windows did a fabulous job and I highly recommend them.

I was initially concerned that what I saw as a design flaw was just something I was going to have to live with...but I was delighted with the concern expressed and the action that was taken to make sure that I was 100% satisfied. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. The courtesy and competence of everyone from the sales representative to the installers was beyond reproach.

Please refer to the above. Ron just scribbled a bid on a piece of paper and told us he would send us a formal bid, which we never received. I noticed in the reviews for Dawn Windows that this company was referred as being professional. We did not find this so. I feel it would be to the advantage of this company to be sure their employees are free of smoke and that the owner presents himself more professionally dressed. We decided not to go with this company for the work due to first impressions.

I am very happy with the product and the process. My meeting with a salesperson was with the owner of the company, and it was more of a conversation than a formal presentation. Through our discussion he became aware of my needs and sold me just what I needed and wanted--not more and not less. In fact he showed me the sliding "French" patio door that I had not been shown by another company who carries the same Amerimax windows. I love that upgrade. The Installers, Darryl and Vince were diligent, polite, and skilled. They seemed to take a great deal of pride in their work. I would definitely recommend Dawn Windows.

Overall very good experience. We have recommended Dawn windows to several of our neighbors. We had several companies bid, Dawn has the best pricing. We liked Ron's no pressure style and his willingness to suggest options that might save us money. Darryl and Vince did our install and were great to work with. They showed up on time, worked steadily each day and were very professional. We were impressed with the care they took to ensure that nearby furniture and walls were not damaged. They cleaned up each day when they were done--you would have never known they were there. The windows look and operate great. There were only two thing we wished we'd done differently. 1) We wish we had gotten dimensions and personally see the sliders we got to replace our french doors--while they gave us more floor space, we did not appreciate how much the door opening would be reduced and might have chosen to increase the opening and buy bigger doors. Recommend folks visit a showroom and actually understand the opening sizes. 2) We do not like the grid spacing on one odd shaped window. Ron and his crew executed what we asked, but again actually seeing the specific window would have allowed us to catch it. REcommend getting drawings for any unusual windows. We would work with Dawn windows again, and are in fact having them back in to finish the remaining windows in the home as part of a remodel in january.

We had planned to have our windows replaced and had received a quote from another company but we weren't ready at that time. Can't exactly remember how we were contacted by Dawn Windows, either a flyer on the front door or a cold call. Did our research and asked for a quote. Lew Grothe did an excellent job explaining about the product and gave us an estimate that was substantially less than the other company. When we were ready, they measured and ordered the windows. When the installation date arrived, their installers, Darrell and Vince, arrived on time and were professional, prompt, friendly, removed window coverings and put them back up, and cleaned up after themselves over the 3 day installation. The windows are fabulous and are a huge improvement over the builder's windows they replaced. We couldn't be happier. We plan to downsize in the next few years and if the house we purchase needs new windows, we know we can count on Dawn Windows to do the job.

The reason we selected them was the very strong references in Angie's list, their bid was fair, and the individuals involved seemed *trustworthy*. The windows came in as promised and the installation was scheduled over the weekend to ensure the project was completed on-time. The installers were professional and the work areas were kept clean. Overall, very pleased with the project.

My overall experience with Dawn Windows LLC Company was good. They were responsive and very punctual. They were professional.

After the initial meeting with Dee from Dawn Windows I did some shopping around to compare prices, product and service. For the price and the quality of the product Dawn Windows couldn't be beat. I also liked the idea that the windows are made in Colorado. I'm happy to also report the service is excellent as well. From the initial meeting to the installation of the new windows it was very professional. Due to my schedule I needed a weekend install and that wasn't a problem at all. I schedule a Saturday for the install thinking the installer would be late and it would take all day. How pleased was I when they were on time (even early) and ready to work. In less then an hour we had our windows installed and the old one taken away. Excellent customer service guys thanks for everything.

They came out and gave us what we thought was a good price. They took to long doing the install and we lost out on a window incentive. They damaged our home security system during the install. The windows have been great however.

DAWN did everything they said they would. End results are nice windows that appear to be of good quality. Have a few minor problems but to be expected with job this size. Would do business with Ron and his company again.

Dawn Windows did an amazing job replacing all of our windows in our home. Windows are a major investment and one that I needed to be done right. I thoroughly researched 5 different window replacement providers and Dawn Windows was the clear winner. I used all peer review sites available to me, reviewed BBB reports, I called references, and I had lots of questions for each contractor. Ron and Dee at Dawn Windows did not rush me at all and were very patient with all my questions. Other companies may have had competitive prices like Dawn and some were selling the same product as Dawn, but none of them were able to reassure me that I would get the best installation. This is what separated Dawn from the competition: reputable installers. This aspect should not be overlooked with windows as you could have a great product but a poor installation. I read about Darryl and Vince's good work and their excellent reviews on Angies List. We were lucky enough to get them and they did an amazing job. The windows looked beautiful and they cleaned up very well. They had to do lead abatement which I was worried about. But with their high attention to detail, thorough protection and clean up, I am confident that we got the best installation possible. They even did extra caulking around the wood framing for me which was not required for the window work as well as replaced several parts of the wood framing that was deteriorating.
