Golden Eagle Renovation

I hired Ahmed to remove 665 sq. ft. of carpet and replace it with laminate flooring. At the time of the quote he said the job would take 2 days, he took 4 1/2 days to complete. Also at that time he stated that his quote included moving furniture as needed and I was surprised that he told me I wouldn't need to empty the drawers. Ahmed also stated product should be inside 4 days before being installed. He delivered the product on Saturday afternoon and wanted to start Monday. I asked about the 4 days and he said it would be fine. He asked why the furniture wasn't moved, I told him why I hadn't. I agreed to hire movers and he said never mind, he would do it. Ahmed wanted to set up his table saws inside the 2 car garage, which I understood why, but he consistently left both doors open and I have 2 pets. In addition, this added to the amount of sawdust throughout the 2 stories and garage. He left caulk several places on the flooring and walls. He broke the 63" glass top on my antique dresser. While he agreed to pay for new glass, he refused to help me carry it into the house. He also left the furniture where he moved it. These are the reasons I rated Ahmed's work as I did.

This fall, Ahmed completed two projects at my house: 1. he remodeled a bathroom to make it wheelchair-accessible and 2. he rebuilt a 10’x16’ old deck. Both projects required some innovative solutions on Ahmed’s part. He finished them exhibiting excellent craftsmanship. The cost for each project was very competitive in comparison to other offers I had. I highly recommend Ahmed’s services.

I am happy to recommend Ahmed as a hard-working, professional, and kind man who stands by the quality of his work. He remodeled a bathroom in our home--extending the shower, adding an in-shower bench, changing the flooring, reinforcing the cabinets, painting and adding other design details. The tile work in the shower is just gorgeous and precisely what my mother envisioned. The final result is remarkable. We're looking forward to hosting guests to show off this beautiful space. I can highly recommend him as a trustworthy contractor who is friendly, effective, and extremely hard-working. Our family is very pleased with his results.

Ahmed and Guray take great pride in their work, and well they should. They did a wonderful job installing porcelain tile in the master bathroom and closet and a guest bathroom, and installing new oak hardwood floors in the family room and main hallway. The new flooring is perfectly "laced" with the old oak flooring which was refinished to blend perfectly with the new. They kept me well informed throughout the project and were themselves thoughtful and good men, a pleasure to have in the house. They are trustworthy men of character. In addition to doing the work as specified in their bid, they took care of some side small repairs they identified as the project progressed. I would hire them again and enthusiastically recommend them. They do very good work!

I got 4 quotes for a basement remodel. Golden Eagle gave me a fair price and was very professional and friendly. He scheduled the work and showed up when expected. He finished very quickly and the attention to detail is obvious. I was very happy with the job completed and would hire this contractor again.

I got estimates from two other companies. Golden Eagle was slightly less, and then went above and beyond with extra finishes that were not included in the estimate, such as painting touch ups on the verticals of the hardware steps they installed. They were extremely attentive to quality, my requests, and attention to detail. My floors were OLD, grey, and had serious water damage, and they really restored them to their natural beauty. I hired them for three other jobs before they completed the floors because I was so happy with their work. Golden Eagle has finished my kitchen - beautiful granite countertops, refinishing wood cabinets, and tiling. The kitchen is really lovely, and they gave me great input on paint colors. They have refinished a bedroom long-neglected, with wall tiling, some tricky wall repair (my house was built in 1928 - lathe and plaster walls) and finishing touches to be sure to match textures of the new plaster to the existing plaster. The paint job is beautiful, as are the tiles. Golden Eagle has also laid pergo in my basement, taken out an old, ugly island, installed granite countertops, a new sink, and repainted. It's a high quality job, and the space is so much more livable now. Golden Eagle really cares that you are happy, consults with you often on the job status and your input, and follows up on issues you might not have covered in the original estimate, never nickel and diming you for things. They have a great attitude. Also, and importantly, they are gentlemen that I feel completely comfortable having in my home at any time. They are extremely professional and very respectful. I enjoyed their company!

These guys are great!!! They are hard-working, do good work, and finish on time. No haggling. They make sure you are happy with everything. Highly recommend.
