I learned of High Point Granite because I had seen them install a neighbor’s granite. I decided to call for a quote. Alex showed up and measured and gave us a very nice quote. It was exactly in our price range and he seemed very knowledgeable and gave great input. I was very happy and things seemed like they were trucking along, all we needed to do was pick out slabs and set a date for install. When we went by High Points shop, we did not see any slabs we liked, so we ended up picking out some slabs at a location in Denver and just had them delivered to the Springs. Those slabs stayed on hold for several weeks. When we finally spoke to Alex (a few days later), he told my husband he was waiting for a truck to come in and that we could look at some slabs he had available when the truck arrived, despite the fact that we mentioned we picked out our slabs already. So we decided to wait and look at what he had, after a week went by and we never heard from him, I called him and I know I caught him at a busy time, because he very apologetically cut our conversation short; and mentioned that he was still waiting on a delivery of slabs, at which that time I told him that we just want to go ahead and use the slabs we picked out even if we had to pay for delivery, etc. He told me that he would call me first thing in the morning and I did not hear from Alex for 3 weeks. During that time, we had another fabricator come out and measure and give us a quote which was pretty comparable to what High Point gave us. We did this because after several failed attempts at communicating, my husband thought this might be a reflection of how the install would go. So we told the new fabricator our situation and that we had already picked out slabs and had them on hold. Well after knowing the measurements we needed, we found out that the slabs we had on hold for High Point would have been too small and therefore would not have work, vital information we would have needed rather than to be sitting on slabs that weren’t going to suffice. My husband and I talked and I convinced him to let me call Alex back once more and just allow him to explain why he had not gotten back with us. When I called Alex, he was very apologetic and it honestly sounded sincere. He told me that he was indeed in the middle of an install the day I called and he was very busy and short staffed, and I understand that. So at that point, he expressed that he still wanted to help us and said he would come by my house first thing in the morning and measure once again and head up to where we had NEW slabs on hold (given the information that the previous would not work) or if he wasn’t able to come by he would for sure go look at the slabs and make sure that they would work, he would call me and we could have them installed in about a week. This sounded wonderful to me; I thought we just had a little hiccup, but now things would go smoothly. Well, unfortunately, I never heard from Alex. He never came by or called like he said he would. At this point, we made the decision to end our work relationship with High Point Granite. It was very disappointing because I really had high hopes for this company and Alex was always extremely nice. However, it appears this was handled in a very unprofessional way and for that, we will not recommend this granite company to any of our friends. I do wish Alex and his company the best, this might have just been a onetime occurrence, but it definitely left a bad taste in our mouths about what this company truly represents.

High Point (Alex) was responsive and highly professional. Alex provided suggestions and tips for granite, edges, and sinks. Fabrication and installation occurred quicker than I expected. The cost was much better than any other suppliers (Lowes, Home Depot, etc.) and turn around was much faster. The final product looks exceptional. I would not hesitate to hire Front Range Granite again.
