Mile High Drain is the WORST company I have ever worked with, do not use them if you want your plumbing issue resolved! I hired them to clear my main line. They charged $160 and assured us they had cleared line and that the issue was that our septic tank was full. We had septic tank pumped, ran water as they had instructed and black sludge backed up all over our basement floor causing huge mess and odor! So what should have taken very little time and money took us over 10 hours to deal with and hundreds of dollars unnecessarily spent on pumping septic tank.

They came back out on Saturday and completed the job and didn't charge me any additional fees for late night or weekends. They were courteous and very professional. They were very honest and said they should have caught the leak before they left. I didn't even notice it until the next morning. I would defnetly use the company again. It's hard to find good and honest people.

Called at 3:53p and Chad said that within 1 to 2 hours a tech would be by and they will call when they get close.
At 4:05 Joe knocked on our door. He commented on our main line that someone smart fixed our mainline so that there was easy access instead of having to go thru the toilet to access the line. (Thank you whomever fixed our main line). 4:45p job is done, paid the invoice and Joe is on his way. Everything went smoothly, Joe made sure to clean any mess that was made and took care on our tile floor heading to basement to make sure not to break a tile with the heavy machine. Thanks Joe and Mile High Drain Cleaning!
Update: 4 days later, my sewer just backed up and they're coming out in a couple hours to redo their work. Joe showed up a couple hours earlier than they said which was great. He cleaned the line again and determined it was the secondary line and that fixed the problem.

Jonny called to let us know he was on the way and showed up within the
estimated window of time. He was very courteous and professional. I
showed him the clogged pipe and he started the work right away. He worked
on the pipe for about 20 minutes before he decided that it needed more
in depth cleaning. He worked until we were confident the clog was
removed. He also worked on our overflow drain but only charged us for
the 1st line. He was a very nice tech and did great work. We will
definitely use their services again. Highly recommended.

I had experienced some backups of a floor drain in the basement laundry room. Nothing like flooding, just nuisance water and suds bubbling up after the washer drains. But on a couple of occasions I actually had standing water in that drain after a shower upstairs. My regular plumber was too busy and wouldn't be able to complete the job for several days. He recommended Mile High Drain for the main line cleanout. Had a two hour window for which the technician was only 15 minutes late. However, I know it's just the luck of the draw any time you select a company that sends out "technicians" because you never know - could have 15 yrs experience or less than 15 months. Mine was the latter. He came to the door yawning and proceeded to yawn several more times as I was explaining the symptoms of my plumbing issues. Unprofessional. He decided that the best approach was to do the clean out by pulling the toilet and accessing main line that way. My old house has a very old cleanout on the original sewer stack. Looks like it may never have been opened, so I believe he made a good choice to avoid it. The rest of my experience went downhill from there. Technician was at my home from 4:15pm to just after 9:30pm. The evening and dinner plans were disrupted entirely. Ended up pulling a second toilet, to the upstairs bathroom. The house was a filthy disaster by the end of the night. I was happy to pay money to get rid of him at that point - whether it took care of my issue or not. I have a good clean sewer line, I guess, but it was just a dreadful experience that I believe did not have to end that way given some level of professionalism. The next hour and a half (3 full "man" hours) , my spouse and I had to clean two rooms, a hall and entryways from bottom to top. Our technician had succeeded in touching everything in the house with greasy sewer hands. Both toilets were a mess as well as most of the area surrounding even hallways which had been splattered with some black gunk. Greasy hand prints were on the walls, doors, handrails, laundry sink (which now has a chip in it that wasn't there before) washer controls and lid. He re-seated one of the toilets poorly and the tank was not level. I asked him to correct that and it was better by the time he left. This was one of my worst experiences ever with a service of any kind. Just very unprofessional. I will never use a company that sends out "technicians" again.

Arrived in less than two hours (at around 7pm, no other high-rated company I called could help us the same day). Quickly identified the best access point to minimize spills. Unclogged the drains. Gave advice on how to optimize sink plumbing. Were friendly and professional throughout the ordeal.

Jeremiah showed up on time and also was able to come out the same day i called. I discovered water flooded the basement bathroom and laundry room. He made sure to clean up after he snaked the pipe and showed me how to take the cap off and put it back on. It was 154.50 to snake the pipe and 30.00 for the new cap. Great Job!

They were good. They came when they said they would come. They did the work. They didn’t make a mess. I knew what they would be charging me ahead of time. I would use them in the future.

We originally hired another vendor who was not able to show up due to a truck malfunction ($99 Rooter). It was Saturday afternoon, and our matter was urgent, and we needed a company that could access our sewer line from our crawl space and clean out to 200 feet, which not everyone could do. We called several companies, and a company highly rated on Angie's List (Integrity Plumbing) couldn't do the job, but highly recommend Mile High as good and honest (as of this report, Mile High is also highly rated on Angie's List). Mile High's quote at $355 was higher than the original company ($224), but since our matter was urgent and they were highly recommended we hired Mile High. They said they'd be out in 2-3 hours and it was closer to 4 (which was no big deal, we were happy for same-day service). They arrived and were courteous and knowledgeable. They addressed the problem and provided suggestions on how to avoid a similar problem in the future, and also how we could add a cleanout to make routine cleanouts easier and possibly cheaper in the future. In the process, some sewage spilled from the cleanout in the crawlspace onto the crawlspace vapor barrier. They vacuumed up a bulk of the sewage, but left the final cleanup to us. I'm not sure what a reasonable expectation is in this scenario, but this is why we say "B - good" rather than "A - excellent".

Bill and his helper Sef came out promptly. In fact, they arrived at the house before I did. They accessed the main sewer drain through a bathroom vent pipe from the roof. He said that cannot always do this, but he prefers this method when they can. They spent some time working on one spot of the drain (about 80' into the pipe) but couldn't get past it. After a couple tries, he removed one of the two blades from the snake to try and get through the stopped spot. On that try it went right through. This (and some other clues) indicated that there is likely an offset in the pipe, or a break. He recommended the best course of action for a permanent fix, which will involve a camera to verify the problem and location, then probably digging up the pipe, but he did not give a hard sell for additional services. Bill was friendly, experienced, and seemed knowledgeable in his trade. Overall they spent an hour or so on site. The drain is working great now, but I'll likely need more serious work in the future. There is a $50 fee for accessing the pipes either through a crawl space or the roof. I got the impression that the roof vent access was actually easier for them than going through the indoor plumbing, but indoors would have been cheaper for me. Oh well, the roof vent method was probably faster and cleaner so I didn't mind too much. -- -- The house is about 55 years old. It was vacant for almost a year. I've just purchased it and I'm still painting & fixing things before I move in. The drain seemed to work fine when I've been there by myself, but totally stopped up when the whole family was there helping me over the weekend. The pipes probably released a lot of rust and stuff once the plumbing was being used again.

Competent, hard workers. Ran a little behind in response time but kept me informed. Tough work, 100%+ satisfied, beat Roto-Rooter's price by more than 50%. I will be calling them first from here on out for drain issues on this 59 year old house. NICE JOB!!

tech showed up, carefully made his way to the location. cleaned out the clog, cleaned up the work area, and left. very cordial. seems a bit on the high side for a single drain cleanout, but i haven't had this done before, so maybe not

The technician was a nice young man who did a good job, and was great at showing me what he was doing, and things I could do to maintain the drains in between major drain cleanings. They were running a little late the day the work was scheduled, but the office called 30 minutes before they were supposed to arrive and gave me an explanation and updated ETA for them, which turned out to be accurate. I only had to wait an additional 30 minutes or so for them to arrive. Cleaned up well after themselves, and the pricing was accurate to what had been quoted over the phone.

It was something I really needed done and it is hard to find a good person to do it. So I was really happy. He is usually very busy, that is because he is very good and efficient at what he does. I'll keep calling him.

I left a message about the problem and the call was returned promptly, the technician coming in a matter of an hour or so. A few weeks later, we found the sump pump was not working and called Mile High Drain again. A different person came right over, found a root to be inhibiting the float and of course the pump started immediately. There was NO charge for this visit, unrelated to the first problem ! Very impressed !

Mile High drain showed up within just a couple of hours, and it was actually evening time, but there was no extra charge for that. They cleaned out my kitchen line and found it clogged by roots. They did warn me that I may continue to have this problem every so often, due to the big old trees in my yard - however, for now everything is draining fine.

Mile High drain came out the same day, and cleaned out hair and build up from the tub drain. When I mentioned that my sink also seemed to drain slow, they told me that any additional line would only be half price . So, I asked them to clear the sink line too, and they found hair and buildup in this line as well.

I INITIALLY CALLED ON THEM 6 MONTHS PREVIOUS AND REALLY LIKED THEIR WORK. THEY HAD COME INTO THE DRAIN FROM THE ROOF AS OPPOSED TO THE BASEMENT AND I LIKE THAT IDEA BETTER THAN GETTING THE MACHINE INTO THE BASEMENT AND MAKING A MESS ON THE FLOOR AND THE WALLS. THIS TIME IT WAS A GUY BY HIMSELF AND HE DID THE WORK FROM THE BASEMENT AND I AM SURE THE JOB WAS COMPLETED WELL, BUT I LIKED IT BETTER WHEN THEY CAME IN THROUGH THE ROOF EVEN THOUGH IT IS A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE.

WHEN I CALLED, I WAS TOLD THAT THEY'D ARRIVE IN ABOUT 2 HRS, AND THEY CAME IN 2-1/2 HRS. THEY WERE NEAT, COURTEOUS, VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I WON'T HESITATE TO USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
