Yesenia's House Cleaning

First, Yessenia and her mother were very polite and it was clear they wanted to do a good job. Language problems created more than one misunderstanding, and there was a reluctance on their part to discuss things because of it. This makes for a more difficult working relationship, although they meant well and tried hard. One example of this was the fact that I really wanted two thorough cleanings, but not an ongoing cleaning service. They didn't seem to believe me when I told them in the beginning that this was the case, and they really wanted a regular job to go to (which I understand, but perhaps they should have declined my job). The estimate was based on their idea of what they wanted to do for me, rather than what I really was asking for, but in the end, they tried very hard to do what I needed. Still, at the end of the day, I felt they focused on some things that I didn't care about, and missed some things I did care about. (This is a common problem with housecleaning.) Having said that, it sure was great to have a house that was really pretty clean, including some 'old' dirty places. On the whole, their work was great. I would have had them back again for the second event that I had coming, which I had told them about on the first meeting. But Yessenia was chronically remiss about returning messages, voicemail or text, which put me in the position of not being able to schedule the work in time for the event. I wound up cleaning my own house the second time. Truly nice people.

They do an impeccable job, paying very close attention to detail. They use a variety of organic and kid-safe products and always let me know if they decide to bring in a new cleaning product, so that I'm aware of the change. They bring in fresh flowers and occasionally leave a chocolate or two on the pillow. Again, they are very detail oriented. Each area is spotless after every visit. They are trustworthy and reliable. I can't say enough good things about them.
