This company scammed me with an appliance "repair" service. I had an electric oven that wasn't warming up. The technician came for service on 8/14/19 and literally just unplugged the stove and plugged it back in. (The cord had wiggled a little loose, that is literally all the problem was). He charged me $117 for the service visit and $100 for a non-existent "part". No description was given to of what that "part" was, and the technician wouldn't leave unless I paid. When I protested, he threatened me, said this is what it costs and I won't leave until you pay me. So, I paid to get the man out of my home, and have spent the past 2.5 months going back and forth with customer service. I have contacted Puls several times over phone and email and have gone back and forth to no avail. The calls were made on 8/14/19, 10/2/19 and 10/14/19. I finally was able to get a supervisor named Zed on 10/14, who said he would issue me a refund for the fraudulent part charge. I also emailed on 10/2 and 10/14/19. After speaking to Zed, I received an email response on 10/14 from someone named Frank in customer service, who offered to refund the part cost to me. However, in that process, he actually had the gall to retroactively raise their service call fee from $117 to $159, so that they were only going to refund me a difference of $58 for the part instead of the full $100 that I was charged. When I replied that same day and refused and pointed out that was incorrect, they didn’t respond to refund the money, neither the full $100 nor the $58 they tried to get away with. I got an email on 10/15 from Reyna saying their team would review and get back to me within 24-48 hours. They did not ever get back to me. I emailed again on 10/28 indicating that it had been 13 days since the 1-2 day promised response time and that I wanted the issue resolved that day or I would escalate the matter to the appropriate parties. They did not reply to that message, or refund any amount of money.
