There were some miscommunications amongst their team and a mistake was made. However, once identified, they were quick to fix it. They were conscientious of the fact that it meant more of my time away from work, and worked with my time frame to fix the issue. Absolute was continually calling me to let me know they were coming. The technician showed up on time, do a great job, cleaned up and left. I would definitely hire them again.

Technician was very knowledgable about the wiring and electrical techniques common to older (1926) homes. When he saw what an old mess our current wiring is, he took a great deal of time making sure I understood how the wiring is done, what is required to fix it, and how it can be done without breaking the bank.

Work was done as requested and on time.

Regardless of the job, they charge a fee of $289 just to look at your issue. They don’t mention this to you until they show up which is something you should be informed of before they show up. I had already canceled 2 other electricians because they couldn’t make it there in my time frame so I paid their fee but, I will never use them again. The guy that showed up did a great job and I would hire him again, just not through this company. Going rate for an electrician in my area is $95 an hour. This job was less than half an hour so the company got the better of me.

Steve spent over an hour with me, looking at what we needed in our home and explaining how the whole-house fan would work. He checked our breakers to be sure we had adequate coverage for the fan. He even found the switch on a ceiling fan and changed the rotation for me. When I decided to hire him to install the whole-house fan, I also had him install two new ceiling fans. Steve was polite and professional. He listened to my questions and answered thoughtfully. He and his assistant, James, did excellent installations. They worked efficiently and cleaned up as they went. I highly recommend AES and especially Steve. I will call them again for other electrical work when needed.
