+ -1 moreI pulled my camper trailer to Colorado Springs for work. I hadn?t been winterized properly. The hot water tank had cracked and ruptured and several faucets were ruined as well. It was a disaster. Ron was at my RV within a couple hours of calling him and he worked very fast to correct all the problems he could while we waited for a new water heater to arrive. His supplier wanted to charge a high price for a water heater so he encouraged me to look on line for the new part, forsaking the small mark-up he makes on parts. His advice saved me several hundred dollars. Ron and his helpers were super responsive and very fast. It was very obvious they knew exactly what they were doing. They were neat and courteous. They were well prepared having all the tools and little parts and fittings so there were no delays running around looking for parts. They showed up ready to work. The level of service I experienced was phenomenal and very reasonably priced as well. Stop looking and call Ron. You will be glad you did.
Description of Work: Repaired damage to camper trailer water system caused by failure to winterize. Replaced water heater and faucets.

Description of Work: The did an excellent job on most repairs; however they were never able to solve a visor down problem. It has yet to be fixed. For a long time neither we or they could get a relay part Monaco suspected might be the next diagnostic step. Monaco only stocks the board with 20 plus relays on it. When we finally got the part(turns out we could have used other relays on the board to diagnose)the relay was good. Next step is to replace the motor. We never could get Ron's interested in working this problem after their initial shot at it.

+ -1 moreThey were excellent and it's always nice to have the refrigerator working. They came out and fixed it. One day it appeared to be fixed but when we tested it the next day, it wasn't. It did not stay lit. So we called them and they came back out and reworked on it, and there was no additional charge. So that was the charge to fix it and if it wasn't fixed, they would fix it and so they did that. We've had work done on our RV before and they were great. We don't think it's their fault what happened, but they had to come back out and they made it right. They were quite responsive and they came quickly. They are a little rough around the edges, but that's okay. They get the work done. We might hear them swear or something, but that is the way it goes.
Description of Work: We used Ron's RV for doing a service on our RV. They repaired our refrigerator.

Description of Work: Fixed a no flow propane issue in our 5th wheel RV. Diagnosed and fixed problem. Replaced and leak checked supply hose. Came to our campground and provided onsite service.

They ret5urned my call the very same day and told me they would go to the storage area where my trailer was stored and fix it there. They went the next day and fixed everything. We were so happy. We took it camping a few weeks later and the problem was fixed.

+ -1 moreWe had been following the use a 75 watt lightbulb in the water tank/water pump area of our motorhome. Until this winter no issues. But a multi-week cold snap with a week at single digit and below zero temps froze up the pump. it tried to work. we called Ron's New Year's Eve day. (Had my daughter's wedding that night). Relayed all the info on the pump, water lines and asked about getting a vari-speed one like we had (5 years old). They couldn't get a vari-speed pump but a regular one w/ new technology was in stock. We set Jan 2 as the repair day. He picked up the pump from Kand C, brought it out to USAFA. I met him at the gate and drive him onto USAFA and FAMCAMP. I worked on fixing a few other things while he completed replacing the pump and checking out the system. we added another filter inline (lots of sand in water lines of late). He also recommended we have small heater (desktop size). I bought a small one and put into the enclosed area and no problems since. For holiday time and everyone being closed. Ron's was very helpful and prices were great.

Description of Work: Had called Ron, who I have used on other occasions, to have him fix the hot water heater in my RV that was in the FamCamp at the Air Force Academy. He explained that it would cost me to much money if his personnel were delayed getting through the gate. He told me that his last repair of an RV in the FamCamp was done after the RV had been pulled out to the parking lot at the Chapel Hill Shopping Center. I told him I would make an appointment and move it either to the Walmart parking lot in Monument or to the parking lot at Chapel Hill. I then moved my RV to the storage lot on the Air Force Academy and put it in storage. I called on July 31st to make an appointment to get the hot water heater fixed. It was agreed that I would pull my RV out of the storage lot and move it to the Chapel Hills Shopping Center between Sears and Firestone where the maintenance man had done other repairs. I was to have the RV there by 8:30 A.M. on August 2nd. On August 2nd, I did the necessary tasks to pull my RV out of the storage lot and move it to the Chapel Hills Parking lot. I arrived at least 20 minutes early. I waited for the maintenance vehicle. At 8:30, it had not arrived. At 8:45, I called Ron's office to find out what the delay was. The woman I talk to said that she would call Shawn, the person that was supposed to fix my hot water heater. In a few seconds, she returned and told me that he was not answering but I could leave a message for him. I was in no mood to leave a message with the woman for Shawn. I waited another 15 minutes until 9:00. I then moved my RV back to the storage lot and put it back into storage. I have arranged with another service agency to fix my hot water heater.

+ 2 moreWhen switching out light fixtures, I ran across wiring that I didn't feel was quite to code. Called Ron's RV and he sent out his electrician. He fixed the bedroom lighting fixture issue and installed both the new sconces on the bedroom walls, installed the new light in the ceiling, pulled out an old exhaust fan cover from the bathroom (no one could figure out how to get down). He also developed a work around which allowed the decorative track lighting to run the length of the hall as opposed to the width. I couldn't have been more pleased. It is this type of service that keeps me coming back to Ron's Mobile RV.
Description of Work: I needed to have some minor electrical work completed a couple of weeks ago and was very pleased with his staff. His electrician was pleasant, professional, and (more importantly) knew what he was doing. I have never been afraid to let Ron or his staff in the house. Safety is big on my list! You do get what you pay for with Ron’s RV. I have used Ron’s Mobile RV service for over 11 years. I can’t say enough good things about him. He is extremely responsive, professional, and absolutely takes pride in his work. He has worked on just about everything in my Park Model Home. (Furnace repairs, water heater replacement, etc) I can always count on him to do the job right the first time. Additionally, he has an electrician on staff to take care of your electrical needs.
