Executive Pro-Dry

About us

Water damage? Flooded basement? Sewer backup? Broken pipes? We offer 24/7 response to all water damage flood emergencies and arrive within 30 minutes. We have been serving southern Colorado since 1984. We offer FREE moisture inspections and FREE estimates. After conducting a thorough inspection of the water damaged area with our advanced moisture meters, sensors, and thermal imaging equipment, we perform a deep extraction with powerful truck mounted equipment to remove the water from the carpet, pad, and floors. We then use state of the art, specialty drying equipment to remove the trapped moisture in walls, ceilings, hardwood flooring, and behind cabinets. With our industry trained and certified technicians,(never any subcontractors) and our "Lifetime Service Guarantee", you can rest assured your home or business will be dried properly and professionally while not just meeting, but exceeding all industry standards. What sets Executive Pro-Dry apart from all other water damage companies in Colorado, is that we specialize in one thing, and one thing only...emergency water removal and structural drying... anytime - anyday. Many companies will offer a wide variety of services along with water damage such as construction, mold remediation, fire restoration, asbestos removal, bio-hazard clean up, commercial cleaning, etc. The problem with that is, for every service added, the level of quality with which each service is performed is diminished, hence the saying "jack of all trades master of none." Also, the amount of expense and overhead needed to perform all these additional services rises and that cost must be passed on to the customer. Many "water damage restoration" companies actually start out as remodeling contractors or in some other field of the construction industry. Their experience is in demolition and reconstruction, not structural drying. This creates a huge conflict of interest for the consumer. Instead of drying the structure properly, utilizing the best equipment and training the industry has to offer, they will demolish the affected areas in order to reconstruct since this is the most profitable area of their company. This is bad for the consumer due to the fact the property was not dried properly, resulting many times in mold growth, the additional unnecessary costs, and the total disruption of life for months. Many families are forced to relocate their families during this time to either a hotel or to living with family until the job is finished. A job that should have taken days to complete now takes months. On every job, Executive Pro-Dry puts the customer and their family first. Our customers love our attention to detail, our commitment to being the "best" at what we do, and our relentless pursuit of total customer satisfaction. We are a BBB accredited business, fully insured, and approved by all insurance companies.

The pro dry team came to my house after we discovered a water leak in the bathroom. They used all the same scare tactics and high pressure sales vocabulary a car dealership uses. After quoting me $5100 to remove 35sq ft of laminate flooring in my bathroom I told them no way. They magically reduced their price down to $2400 after the tech "called the big boss to make an exception." The only service I did with them was an asbestos test that I was highly pressured into purchasing by the salesman. He told me it would be "around $300." Over 2 weeks later I received a bill for $760. This is a complete joke as I priced asbestos tests with other companies anywhere from $99 to $249. I have emailed the company and gotten nasty responses from the salesman. I have called and left several messages for the owner with no luck. In the meantime they have sent me a certified letter saying they will put a lein on my home if I do not remitt the $760. These guys are rip off artists that make a living charging double and triple what a job actually costs to get done. I have offered to pay them the $300 I was quoted by their salesman but they still will not reach out or have a conversation with me to explain their outrageous pricing. Please don't be fooled by their good reviews, we were pressured into leaving a good review for them while they were in our home. P.S. I found a REPUTABLE, FAIR, company that remodeled my whole bathroom for less than the $5100 these guys wanted to charge for basic demo. As of writing this I am still waiting to hear back from someone with authority at Executive Pro Dry that will talk to me about my situation.

Jays team responded quickly and immediately began the mitigation process. It took 2 weeks to get the property dried out so equipment rental was quite high. Since insurance has yet to cover any of it, Jay worked out a good payment arrangement with me. In addition, a couple of weeks later when I noticed some moisture in the basement, Jay offered to install multiple dehumidifiers to get rid of the moisture and to also "fog" the entire basement with anti mold / microbe / fungus agent all at no cost. Jay, Jimmy and the team have been great to work with and will use again if needed.

They came within an hour of our call. They were recommended by a plumber that we used. They came right in and they setup their equipment to dry up the water in the carpet and the ceiling. Three young guys came out and they did an excellent job. We had to call again for a little bit of water that was left over and they cleaned that up at no charge as the water did not go away initially after the three days. They were very polite men to work with. I would definitely recommend them.

Referred by Bill's Plumbing, very responsive, tech was there within an hour.  Recommended a plan for removing the mold and drying

area under and around the tub with a price.  Cost was more than I expected but there was obvious mold and mildew buildup so we moved forward.  I didn't solicit competing bids, so I don't know how their pricing compares to the other service providers.  It wound up being a 4 day project that included removal of the damaged flooring, drywall and tile and placement of industrial size dryers, dehumidifier and periodic humidity level checks.  I was able to do some of the tear out work my self to reduce the cost a little but in the end the price was within $150 or so of the original quote based on them doing all of the work.  I would use them again for major water/mold remediation but only if it is on a large scale.  They are an emergency callout service and price their product accordingly

Executive Pro-Dry team were highly professional and did a great job.  In a nutshell, we had a sewer line crack and over a period of time it created a bacteria and mold situation down the ceiling and mirror in the guest bath.  Chris from Bill's Plumbing came in and fixed the leak, but it made a big mess and he recommended Exec Pro-Dry.  They came within an hour and spent about 4-hours cleaning the area, removing the mold and disinfecting everything.  They're leaving their dryers in for 72 hours to make sure everything is completely dry.  I haven't had to deal with this kind of issue before, so I have no idea of the costs, but $3,100 seems expensive.  I would have graded this a "C" for fair on price, but they gave me a military discount and that moved it to a "B".
Yes, I recommend these guys because of professionalism and their response time was outstanding.

Jay and his crew are top notch and live up to the name "Executive Pro-Dry". These guys know their stuff and are as patient as they are kind. They treated our home as if it were their own carefully covering their shoes, placing mats down over the hardwood flooring, always making sure that they weren't intruding, etc. We feel very comfortable that our home has recovered nicely, with Jay's help, from the water damage.
