LOWE'S

The order/purchase process with Lowe's went very well, of course. However, after that, the coordination/communication wasn't the best, especially when calling to get information. On the day of installation, the installers removed wood trim around a window and told us that they would NOT be replacing it, as it was not their job. They also left two gouges in the ceiling where the large slabs had hit it because they weren't careful when they maneuvered the slabs around the room. They failed to tell us about the obvious damage. My handyman had to repair/paint the ceiling and replace the wood trim. The vendor wouldn't compensate us without a receipt from our handyman, who we since fired. So, we're out the money for the repairs. We would use Lowe's again, but not the Granite installation company, Wall to Wall Stone.

They have good customer service.

They were very helpful. I worked with one of their design consultants. I took them the measurements and they laid out my kitchen. They gave me the option of maybe I don't need to replace the cabinets but resurface. The layout wasn't very good and so I ended up replacing all my cabinets. I was able to pick out the style, texture, and colors. They gave me some suggestions on the best way to do it as well as a couple of alternatives. I had thought about rearranging and kicking out part of my wall, etc. They gave me two or three different options and I ended up choosing probably the medium priced one. The installer was absolutely incredible. He was just fantastic. He's really good. They came everyday and it took him about a week and a half to finish. I had to have a little bit of plumbing stuff done because I didn't have a dishwasher before and I wanted a dishwasher. They basically showed me all the dishwashers. I read some reviews and I ended up picking about the medium priced one.

I’d heard they’d gotten a new type of slat, so I was considering replacing my chain link with there their new material along with purchase & installation of new cedar fence. They had someone come out immediately to look at my project & give me an estimate. However, he told me they do not work with any existing fencing – nothing old. They only do new installs. I decided not use them because of this. The guy was very knowledgeable however & he didn’t waste any time measuring or anything & told me honestly, quickly they couldn’t take the job.
