Master Blaster Plumbing & Drain LLC

I'm currently unemployed and to say things are tight is an understatement. I had the exit plumbing backing up in my house and had a mentally ill roomate. They came to roter rutter and when it was discovered that the line had failed and needed to be replaced I voiced that I couldn't pay for that and they sent me to my mortgage holder to see if I could get help there. I noticed a lot of phone conversations the manager of the project was having. The next day 8 guys appeard and hand-dug the 6-8 feet of the line that they replaced. They were very polite, plesant and finished in a day. I know it was hard due to a lot of tree roots and a fence in the way. They never requested that I pay for the line replacement. I'm so grateful.

Looked for available plumber. Master Blaster was highly rated on Angie's List. Wanted too much money.

They sent a plumber to unclog our drain. The work was completed in a timely manner and the plumber was friendly. Everything appeared finished until I got home that night and inspected the work (wife had been home to let the plumber in during the day). There was leftover sludge surrounding the drain, and I was not happy about this. I called Master Blaster to request they either come back to clean up the mess or else not charge me. After a some back and forth, the manager actually came to our house in person, after his full work day, and personally finished the job. As a customer the scariest part about purchasing a service is the uncertainty of what happens AFTER you buy. In this situation a mistake had been made, but Master Blaster quickly made it right, and went above and beyond the call of duty, so much to the point that I will use them again and will recommend them to friends and family. I can say with complete confidence that this is a quality organization that will take good care of you.

I called to schedule an appointment on Monday, 3/11 for today Saturday, 3/16. At that time I asked about the $99 price to clean the main line and was told yes, that was the price and at that time, the person answering the phone, a gentleman, I believe his name was John, knew it was a Saturday appointment. The tech arrived on time which was wonderful after previous experiences, but then I was told the "weekend" price was $189.00, double what I was originally quoted. It was disheartening as I verified the price when calling. I will be calling another company now.

This was a good deal. The company was easy to schedule with and showed up for the service call as promised.

I was a bit concerned that the drain video provider also provided drain replacement services, I didn't realize that when I made the appt. I became more concerned when the service guy mentioned that, included with the video, was a "free plumbing inspection", I passed on the inspection. The video/locator operator had trouble with the functioning of his locating device and called his boss to come out with his locating device to verify the sewer lines' location. To this day I'm not sure if the boss came out to verify the location or to try and "close" a sewer replacement sales job, I was a bit unnerved at being double teamed about a sewer replacement job. The way the whole thing ended up made me feel very skeptical of the whole experience, I'll certainly get some additional opinions before replacing the sewer.

Tech. arrived promptly. After discussing the difficulty of accessing the sewer clean out we decided to go thru a floor drain in the laundry room. The plug was rusted in place but the tech ws able to remove it. He said it was too rusty to reuse and that I could get a New "repair plug" at Home Depot. The inspection was done while I looked on viewing the equipment video screen. After the inspection probe was withdrawn the tech downloaded the inspection onto a thumb drive I supplied. The only problem I had was that Home Depot never heard of the repair plug. I finally bought an oversized pressure test plug and ground it down to fit. I think the Tech should have had a repair part on his truck.

Dave was great. Showed up EARLY and was very friendly. Did a great job in explaining what they found and provided 3 different videos as back evidence. Clearly explained what types of action would need to be taken step by step and how costs would break down. Glad they were so thorough as I would have been very upset if I found these problems after I purchased the house. Would def use this company in the future.

Called early morning as soon as they opened. The person who answered the phone indicated they had an opening that morning between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. I took that time slot. At about 10:00 they called and said the technician was on the way. When the technician, Tyler, arrived, we went over the problem I was having--the sewer line would back up when I flushed a toilet, but not for things like taking a shower. He explained what he was going to do, how much it cost, and even gave me the Angies List discount even though I hadn't printed the coupon. He snaked the sewer and main line and pulled out some roots that were causing the problem. We tested it a couple of times and it was working fine. He explained what I needed to do in the spring to keep the problem from coming back. All in all a very pleasant and professional technician who did a good job.

The appointment went well overall. Jose was able to offer me a lower cost solution (even if it ends up being temporary). I feel like their prices are high- but they are probably on the high end of average.

Was easy to schedule a quick visit. Arrived on time and fixed the issues quickly.

They sent out Joe the plumber to our house and he was excellent. We have an old house and nothing is easy, but he got it all done within the estimate.

We cancelled this service because they did not serve our area. They were very professional on the phone, though, and even offered some tips.

I ended up not using the coupon, but they were fine to deal with over the phone.

Worker did a very good job of clearing drain, however a later experience with this company has soured me on their services.

Was disappointed that I was unable to get a tankless water heater, but satisfied with Master Blaster service.

Just needed to have a part replaced in a Kohler tub faucet. Technician was great, polite, punctual. My complaint is that it cost me $430.00 for repair of ONE tub faucet! I'm sure there was markup on the replacement part as well. I do not feel that my $19.00 "deal" from Angie's list did me any good as it only gave a discount on the travel charge. I will look closer at the "deal" details next time. I feel ripped off by this company's prices, as I do so often by the plumbing community at large.

They are inexpensive for my property owners.

Great response. I called one day and they had me scheduled for the next day. Eric showed up on time. I had seen a leaking pipe in the basement and he determined that a clogged waste line from the kitchen was causing the leak. Despite the clog being a tough one to clear, he snaked it from both ends and then replaced the broken seals on the pipe in the basement. He was also nice enough to answer all my questions and drew me a picture of the plumbing lines he worked on. At the beginning he told me how much time it would take and he did the work in just that amount of time.

His estimate was way too high. He said that they needed new cartridges and he was overcharging us for that. He told us it would be about $593.00. If I wanted a new sink for him to install, he told me to buy it myself and pay extra for his labor hours to install it. My husband ended up doing this himself for about $12.00.

They were great. They do a great job. They showed up on time and were friendly. They came in at the price they said it would be.

Fast and thorough service as always. Master Blaster has become our only plumbing company.

Joe came out and had me go through all of the items I wanted him to check. I let him know that I was on a fixed budget for his time, so I needed him to proceed with that in mind. He thought the most serious problem was the possible leak in the kitchen as the hardwood floors in that room and started to buckle. The other known leaks were minor in comparison. He found the source of the leak fairly quickly--there was a hole in my dishwasher. He kindly removed the diswasher and put it in my garage. He then inspected the space where the dishwasher had been. The damage was pretty extensive and he recommended a remediation company that would work with my insurance. He offered to call the remediation company for me while I contacted my insurance agency. He then proceeded to fix the other known leaks in short order, and my total bill came in under budget. Joe and Master Blaster truly went above and beyond what I had originally asked them to do. I will certainly call on them again if I have need of their services.
