Great. They showed up on time, did what we hired them for, provided DVD and also gave us an opinion on if we might have problems with the line in the future.

We decided not to use the flat rate fee of $300 offered through the countertop installation company thinking we could maybe find a less expensive option. We did not. I waited too long to start calling companies, so went with the highest rated company in my area with the most reports. We had to disconnect our water in the kitchen and a bathroom the day before the countertops were installed so was hoping to time the reconnection with minimal water outage. This proved difficult over a weekend. I called Master Blaster and was scheduled for that Saturday. Shortly after the appointment was made, I received a call letting me know that would not work and the earliest day would be the following Tuesday and that I would be on the waiting list for Monday. Monday would have been ideal since we needed to let the countertops cure for 24-48 hours. I was told the individual doing the work would have to let me know the day of what the price would be. I was hoping to at least get a ball park quote. The day of I learned that typically each installation would be charged at a separate price - making my total potentially upwards of several hundred dollars more! The plumber offered an alternative price which was to charge by the hour. This dropped the price. The total time was about 2 and a half hours. He checked for leaks in both faucets and sinks, and ran the disposal. All seemed good. A few days later, our kitchen sink started to leak. We called back and the same plumber returned, adjusting the pipe. Again checked for leaks, and all seemed good. A few days later, it leaked again. This time my husband adjusted the pipe and it lasted a few more days. The same plumber returned a third time with a new custom pipe configuration that he installed. So far we have not had any additional leaks. I wish we had had the custom pipe installed the first time. We were not charged for each subsequent visit and the plumber made good on the 1 year warranty. He was most apologetic that he had to return multiple times.

It did not go well. First, I phoned at about 7:30 am, asking someone to return my call. No one returned my call, so I called again around noon, and a technician was sent out about 2:30. The technician did not clear the sewer. He said his colleague who scopes the line would come out the next day to perform a scope and see what the blockage/problem was. He colleague arrived, as stated, scoped the line, and said he couldn't see anything, so it would cost $4,000 to dig up the sidewalk and yard to determine the problem. From there, it would be an additional charge to repair and that they could hopefully start in 5 days. We called another sewer "snake" for a second opinion. That service came out and cleared the sewer problem for $200 within hours. The employees were always friendly, and a refund was received after having to correspond with the company multiple times.

David arrived at 10a.m., brought his equipment to the backyard and explained to me how he was going to look at/in my sewerline. He climbed on the roof with his camera and 'TV screen' and proceeded to insert a plumbers snake with camera attached down through the sewer vent from the roof. He kept me informed as to what he saw in there during the entire procedure. When he was finished, he retracted the snake, brought his equipment down and we chatted about his findings - which were nothing but a few very fine tree roots. He suggested I have a root-killing substance applied before they grew too much. David was very personable, knowledgeable and professional.

Lousy! A bad receptionist can kill a business.

I knew we needed probably a new disposal or at least a repair, so I purchased the $19 service call deal. The work was done well, and I'm very pleased with it. We did need a new disposal. They came on time, and stayed late to get the job done. I didn't think the $19 deal was much of a deal. There was still a charge for coming out to the house as well as for the work.

The David Sharpe arrived on time. He was very pleasant and informative. I saw first hand what the camera was picking up. He explained everything as the process when along. I saw first hand what could be a problem in the future. I appreciated his recommendation to not power flush the pipes at this time as it may be years before a real issue might arise. The pipes were structurally sound and the future problem was a minor calcium buildup at this time.

The sewer line scan was done well and explained well. The technician explained every step of the way what he was doing and what we were seeing. He took us out to the street, pulled up the manhole cover and showed us exactly what he meant by what the video showed of how our line was connecting to the city's line. He gave us a DVD of the scan. He didn't try to sell us any service, just let us know what to expect in the future, what would probably wear out first. Only problem was, and Angie's offer didn't tell us this, was that we are out of the service area where the $99 coupon applies. They gave us the scan for that price, but we had to pay extra for the out-of-area service call. It was still a good deal, but Angie's should be clearer about service areas.

They did a good job, and we were pleased with the work.

They were timely and did a good job. I haven’t had the leak appear again or anything. I would possibly use them again in the future.

Our drain line was backed up and we paid to get it cleared. Unfortunately, it was frozen and there was nothing they could do. So price was a little high to have no benefit from the visit.

Both issues turned out to not be issues at all. So the tech did very little work but since he had to remove the P-Trap that cost $129. The tech was nice very knowledgable and helpful. But I was super surprised to get a bill for $189. $59 For the trip out.

The experience was ok. The service itself was good, it’s just that I had to reschedule and I wasn’t really prepared for that. They treated me like a person even though they really didn’t know anything about plumbing. We talked about couple of other things in my house and they didn’t charge me for that. It was a big deal purchase.

They initially tried to repair the old one, but some plastic stuff was wedged to the point that too much damage was done. They were not able to complete the job because the original unit was hard wired and therefore we had to call an electrician to finish the job.

It was easy and efficient to get an appointment over the telephone.Eric, the service tech, came exactly when he said he would. He even called on his way to confirm when he would get here. We showed him where the problem was and he went over the service to be performed and the price to be charged (which exactly matched the estimate). He cleaned the drain, told me why it had clogged (mineral deposits) and asked if we needed anything else looked at while he was here. The service was well performed, timely and priced right!

It went great overall- quick and painless!

My renters informed me water was leaking from the toilet tank onto the floor. I purchased a plumbing call deal from Angie's List and felt like I got nothing but taken advantage of. The plumber called me several times to ok repairs and every call it was something else. This toilet was not even one and half years old and was not a low quality product to begin with. The plumber made everything sound all doom and gloom and I could just hear the dollar signs ching chinging away while he explained things to me. I wasn't able to be there during the repair so I think they use this to their advantage to upsell services and unecessary parts. Lesson learned. Thankfully I have found a plumber I feel I can trust and is honest in regards to services needed and price, so I will not be using this company again.
