This guy seemed totally professional when he came to give a quote, but once he started, he would show up late, only work a few hours each day then leave, wasn't very responsive on texts, did not cover up furniture and other home items while he worked, so there was paint splatter on my furniture and other items. He missed spots, left dried drips of paint on the walls and doors, painted the wire shelving in the closets instead of removing them, didn't take window treatments down, didn't patch, sand, or retexturize the drywall areas that needed repair, broke things including some glass drink stirrers and a shoe rack and didn't tell me that, tried to change the price once he started, etc. We fired him. I think he might have a problem (alcohol or drugs) that would maybe explain this behavior and lack of professionalism and rush to get the job done. We have a lot of work to do now to fix all this. Beware, he's a smooth talker and will make you believe that he'll do the best job ever. This experience was a complete disaster though.
