It was great, he's terrific. He's knowledgeable, punctual, very concerns to get the job right.

Everything went well with Sean and I am pleased with the completed job. Sean showed up on time every day. He made recommendations on ways to do the job optimally and often made suggestions for ways to save money. I acted as Sean’s assistant and he was able to delegate tasks that didn’t require expert experience, thereby saving me even more money. We would occasionally disagree on a way to approach a task; often however in the end, I was forced to concede that Sean was right; in other cases, after some thought, Sean conceded to me, ultimately giving me the sense that I was in control of the project while maintaining the confidence that the job was being done right! After this project was complete, I called Sean back to help me install a new 10x5 ft window, a new kitchen, and a small addition to a deck roof. Sean approached all the needed projects in a careful and timely manner and offered an affordable rate. I’m keeping Sean’s number is my address book for future projects.

I hired Sean Wilson in August 2016 to do the framing for a master suite room addition. I found him to be conscientious and careful in how he works, and truly cares about doing the best job he can. He works in his own specific way and will not cut corners. When he started he found that the subcontractor that poured the foundation had made several critical mistakes, among them: • The floor elevation was too low. This would make the transition from the new floor to the old off by 2-3”. • The placement of footings and hold-downs as specified by the structural engineer were incorrect. In both cases, Sean meticulously corrected all of these errors, not only allowing the project to sail through city inspections, but also made for a superior structure. As an example of the quality of his work, he perfectly matched the angle of the roof line and eaves so that the new and old parts of the house look like they were built at the same time. An example of his conscientiousness occurred during an especially heavy rain storm. He was worried that the tarp, that was keeping the work area dry, would blow off, so he went up on the roof at the peak of the storm with 50 pound sacks of gravel to help weigh the tarp down. I also appreciated the fact that he passed along to me his 10% discount he gets at Home Depot. He was paid hourly. He is not a fast worker, but is reasonable priced.

It went fine. Sean was punctual, respectful of the property, paid attention to detail and delivered what he said he would provide.

Everything looks good.
