I recently finished a full remodel of my condo. As a first time homeowner, I was very scared and nervous about doing a renovation. After meeting with a few contractors and being overwhelmed by the prices, I met with Eli who was realistic and who understood my situation. He never tried to sell me on more than I was asking for and always tried to make sure that I kept to my budget and not spend more than I needed to. Being that this was my first home, he wanted me to have a good experience and be happy with the result which I definitely did. I would definitely work with KN Remodeling again for any future projects.

I am extremely pleased with the transformation of our bathroom. All of the crew was absolutely exceptional! Everyone was very professional and pleasant and knowledgeable. They are true craftsmen, bar none! They paid attention to every detail. That is a real plus in my book! When they were finished, I sat in the bathroom and looked at everything. There wasn't one thing that I could see that they over-looked! The bathroom exceeded my expectations, and I am so happy with everything. I will definitely be posting photos on my Facebook page, and giving a positive recommendation for KNremodeling Inc. Kudos to Eli, the project manager, and Luis and the rest of the crew, for everything they did from beginning to end.

Nathan was always available and responsive. The project finished early and within the budget. He offered great ideas and options. He made the whole process so easy and painless that we hired him for another job for our second property!

Nathan impressed from the time I first met him. He was far more professional than other contractors in terms of describing how his company works and what I should expect if I worked with him. He also has a nice showroom where you can look a variety of cabinets in different styles and colors as well as countertops. We ended up getting a countertop that he suggested. We would never had picked it on our own but it ended up looking amazing in our kitchen. We had him do a complete remodel of our kitchen and one of our bathrooms. The guys on his crew were always prompt and showed up as scheduled. His foreman was both a good communicator and listener. Whenever we ran into an unexpected issue, they communicated clearly what additional costs would be involved (if any) and how much additional time it might take. The cabinets he installed were custom made but did not cost more than the pre-fab ones you can buy at the large home improvement stores. They are of high quality and well constructed. I actually saw his cabinet guy using a small caliper to make sure the door distances from the cabinets were all even! Lastly...here's something you'll never hear about a contractor...he finished AHEAD of time! Nathan's company are straight shooters and very skilled craftsmen. I would work with them again.

It's not easy to find a contractor these days, especially one that you can trust We hired KN Remodeling to do an addition to our home. After a long research, we decided to go with KN Remodeling. Nathan was very honest and professional, and their price was very fair... from the first meeting we knew what we are going to get... QUALITY! Throughout the all project, Nathan was involved in every step that was made, he was always a call away and I never felt like I need to chase someone to get answers. Nathan Kanyas, owner of KN Remodeling and Supplies, was the third of five contractors who bid on our home remodel and we awarded him the job. It included a re-pipe of our entire 2600 sq. ft., 80 year old English Tudor, and a remodeling of the master bedroom suite, dressing room, and master bath. We selected him because he took time to explain in detail how his crew would do the six week jobâ ¦ what could and could not be done to our 80 year home. And most importantly, he promised that whatever we were unhappy with would be redone without argument! He was a man of his word! The job is now complete and we love it! And him! And his ENTIRE crew! They were a pleasure to have in our home!

We just finished a four bedroom/ three bathroom full remodel in Santa Monica. We are very happy with the end result. Nathan, who is the owner, was very involved in all phases of the job. Nathan got the job done on time. The workmanship and attention to detail was great. He had good communication and relationship with his team. Whenever we had a concern or question, Nathan was easy to get a hold of and handled it quickly. We were worried about the process of a remodel with all the stories you hear about bad experiences. But Nathan made this so easy on us, and we would definitely use him for any future projects.

The owner, Nathan told us no permit was required for electrical in garage remodel; had to file a complaint with Contractors State License Board and have Building and Safety out 3 times regarding shoddy work; Nathan lied so many times, including reporting we had not paid on time; FALSE. Workers were unsupervised most days; workers good; owner NOT SO MUCH. Drywall in loft area was never installed properly. Contractors State License Board mediated after we filed a complaint and mandated the permits be taken and inspections of work done. Homeowners should not have to inform a contractor of his duty to pull permits --we have emails from Nathan telling us permits not required; loose wires outside of new drywall required yet another correction notice from B and S. This contractor was a nightmare and the job as promised at 2 weeks took over 2 months! Garage floor was painted correctly once, when patches showed through and when corrected the guys used the WRONG color! Electrical wires to garage opener were stapled and damaged and door opener would not open; sloppy painting, not by painters, but by owner Nathan on newly installed door; guy can not paint straight. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR. He lies about timelines and his promise to be on the job daily and lies about required permits; He even threatened us to file a lien on our home! Due to lack of oversite, workers punched 7 holes into side of garage walls, requiring patches and stucco and paint. Also, on a rainy day they poked a hole in the roof which had to be repaired by our garage contractor. Because electrical wiring was not installed inside the drywall as required, a pipe needed to be attached to the outside of our garage which we find unsightly. Had to argue with Nathan to get the pipe painted to match garage sides. VERIFY with Contractors State License Board and file dispute if you have one. Our complaint will not be public on the site site as it was resolved with the help of CSCB.

Did what they said and worked with a full crew in a timely manner

Nathan and his team were a true pleasure to work with. We wanted something simple, not over the top, but wanted it to be NICE, to convert our garage into a comfortable guesthouse. The end result was beyond our expectation of what the new guesthouse would look like. Nathan was extremely open with his pricing, and gave great comfort to commit to him and move forward with the work. We worked hand in hand to select finishes, and he had great input along the way. At times when small issues arose, and they do on EVERY JOB, he was a strong communicator and managed to resolve everything efficiently.

KN remodeling was great to work with. Have never done this type of work in my home but Nathan and the crew were wonderful. They helped with design options, prepared me for what to expect and completed all the work in a timely manner. The crew was very professional and addressed my needs. A project manager came every day to ensure everything was being done properly. Overall a great company to work with on any home project. Would highly recommend KN!!

We interviewed many contractors for this job. In the end, it boiled down to the good rapport with Nathan. On the plus side, his work is beautiful and his workers always showed up as promised. He never quibbled about some concerns we had throughout. But, we were up sold some work, (which we likely needed anyway) but were under the gun to make a decision and had to haggle under those conditions. Also, he sometimes requires multiple messages to get a response. Overall, very, very pleased with results and recommend to anyone.

We are very happy with the results from Nathan and his crew. The work was done right on time, as expected, excellent quality. Nathan was very communicative through the process and kept things moving. We are thrilled with the results - better than expected. So often you hear nightmare stories about wasted time, shoddy work product... We had nothing but positive experiences. The workers always cleaned up after the day's work and were very efficient and pleasant. Would definitely recommend this company, and we hope to be able to use them again for another project.

We interviewed several contractors for a remodel of our downstairs and decided to use KN Remodeling. This was a daunting remodel but Nathan guided us through it with his knowledge of the process as well as assisting with design, selection of material and the crew are very professional and pleasant. Our remodel included: kitchen, laundry room, hallways, entryway, dining and living room, staircase and master bath. We added on a few extra items - living room fireplace and I hope I can figure out how to post photos of all the work. We are very pleased and if we get a chance will work with KN again. Love our new house!

Nathan and his crew did an amazing job. They did a garage conversion and the price was extremely reasonable. The customer service was outstanding and all issues were addressed promptly and without question. Nathan even let us make adjustments to the project and never charged any extra money. This included raising the ceiling from 10 feet to a full vaulted ceiling. He also threw in a new garage side door for free. I would venture to guess that this is almost unheard of in the contracting world. We will not hesitate to call Nathan in the future. He is officially our contractor and will definitely be called for future projects. Thank you so much Nathan. We are so happy with our new room. It turned out fantastic!!!

The team that worked on my house was polite and very clean. Every day they cleaned the worksite. I had to have added support added to my ceiling beams due to an air conditioning unit and new drywall added as there were many cracks in my ceiling. It looks great and the workers were professional. Nathan didn't try to sell more than what was needed, which I truly appreciated.
