He did an excellent job. Bryan is an amazing plumber. He is upfront and honest, and he does exactly what he says he's going to do. He doesn't try to sell you things you don't need. I brought him back even a third time to snake out a sink in my guest bathroom with a leaky faucet and a small leak below the cabinet. Bryan rebuilt the faucet, snaked out the drain, and restored it to its full function without any further leaking. We will definitely use Ed Pastor And Son Plumbing & Rooter again in the future.

The work was done over 1.5 hours on Saturday evening. The work went quickly and well using materials Matt had on his well equipped truck. Per his recommendation, we waited at least six hours for glue to cure before repressurizing the water line. It works fine without leaks. The only surprise was the price. It seemed a little high for 1.5 hours of work. But the work was of good quality. It was done on an emergent basis. I would use the company again for emergencies but for work without a time factor, I would get competitive quotes from highly rated plumbers to ensure I got high quality work for a competitive price.

We had Paster Plumbing come out on three different occassions. There were absolutely outstanding on all three items listed above. They were informative and competent. On the first major event with a new water heater and solving a slab leak, Matthew and, I believe, Nick were deligient and knew how to proceed with efficiency in getting the job done. This required finding how the plumbing snaked through the walls between the garage and the interior of the house. The needed soldering of the new pipe was performed under extremely difficult positions. They explained the operation of the new water heater and demonstrated it. On a second occasion, the tub shower was diagnosed by another plumber some time ago to require punching a large hole between the garage and bathroom and replacing an entire assembly of the hot and cold water plumbing. We did not proceed. I then called Paster and asked for Matthew from my previous expererience. He immediately knew the problem and replaced a small unit in the mechanism. It simply required taking apart the mechanism from the tub shower side and replacing the unit. It was an example of knowledge and not trying to soak one for repairs. The third occasion was upstairs, simpler though annoying leaks in one of the sinks faucets. Again, we asked for Matthew and again excellent service along with informative discussions. He actually repaired one of the units rather than replacing it. Show me plumbers who have the knowledge and motivation to repair if possible rather than replace. If you had a rating higher than A, I would give it to Paster Plumbing. I will always use Paster Plumbing in the future. Regarding Dos and Don'ts, Do call Paster Plumbing.

My home was having some foundation reinforcement work done and several copper water pipes needed minor re-routing to avoid a new concrete grade beam that was being poured in a trench along the side of the home. On recommendations from Angie's List and another well-recommended plumber who could not perform the job quickly, I decided to use Ed Paster & Son for this job. We had a few miscommunications in coordinating a time to meet face-to-face to estimate the work. Also, it took some effort to agree on the exact requirements for the job with the foundation workers. I was happy that after getting the requirements straightened out the work was done quickly, cleanly and in a professional manner. Like one earlier reviewer noted for their copper pipe work, it felt like the cost for the time spent doing the work was a bit on the high side, but I don't know the going rate for this type of work and felt preoccupied with our bigger foundation project.

The plumber showed up on time, was courteous and cleaned up after the job was done.

It took two separate visits because after snaking it the first time the material got caught at another part further down the line and clogged again the following day. We pulled blueprints of the building and they helped figure out exactly where the issue was and managed to snake it out. The two different plumbers that showed up were courteous, professional, and were very diligent to protect the expensive servers and other electronic equipment in the surrounding area. I would definitely use them again.

The overall experience working with this company was great. The drain was snaked and cleared in less than hour. They outlined what they were going to do and told me how much it would cost. They then did the job, cleaned up and we settled the bill.

Our water heated started leaking and shuddering at 9pm on a thursday night. The first thing that was great about them was they answered and connected me to a plumber who walked me thru turning of the gas and water to it. They called first thing in the morning and had a guy out by 10am. The second thing that was great was that I'm renting and our landlord is impossible to get a hold of. But when they got here they said that it was under warranty they took care of the paper work. They were very professional and nice. I would hire them again for anything. I put a B on the price because I didn't have anything to compare it to. Maybe it was a great price.

I was very pleased with his work, his demeanor, and his attitude. He was also very knowledgeable. I will use them again in the future. Their prices are reasonable and fair, I was able to get a senior discount for this job.

The tech. was very friendly. He explained the problem and what it would costs. It was a bad blockage,but he worked until it was free.He cleaned the work area when he finished.

Both toilets decided to stop flushing properly. I had company coming on Monday and this was Friday. I was in a panic. I checked Angie's list, contacted Paster Plumbing at 7:40 am. They said someone would be out by 9:00. Chris arrived at 8:45.. removed his shoes at the door (impressive) and after hearing my problem, checked both toilets. He first changed out an ancient water shut off valve, then replaced the fill valve. A previous plumber (I have no idea who) had done a jerry rigged change to the flush valve and it needed to be changed. Chris took the tank off, changed out everything. snaked the toilet.... these are 26 years old and then worked on the second one. All in all he was there until 11:00 am. He was professional, cleaned up after himself and did a very good job. I did have an issue with the flapper leaking, so he came back and replaced it with a different one.

They saved the day! I had called another Angie's list plumber A rated, with pipe leak in back wall... they were a no show by the afternoon and said they had 'forgotten to book my appointment .... I quickly looked up THIS company... called Paster... they were out in an hour and quickly fixed the rotted out hose bib installed by another plumber... that repair was $138.... so fast and so good, I also had him replace the water pressure regulator, w (p.s. I was not going to replace the pressure regulator but pressure was 2x normal, but he was so great and quick and honest, that when he pointed it out, and it has been pointed out before, I decided to go ahead, as is necessary in high water pressure areas .) Nice people!

He was very nice, prompt and polite. I had problem and they figured it out and solved the problem. He was the only one who came out and actually looked at the problem.

I'm still a little unsure if it was necessary to install an access line to alleviate the clog, or if they could have just rooted it from the vent. I would have perferred to deferr that cost. I kind of regret that but it was my decision to move forward with the installation and Brian was generous to work with me on the payment. The overall cost for the job clearly did not leave a great deal of room for profit for Paster with 4-5 people on the job the whole day! It was really hot that day as well. I will call Paster again and would probably trust them with any plumbing job. They are professional and perform quality work.

The work they do is beyond compare. I will never use another plumbing service.

Our renter called advising that there were leaks under the sinks (yes, plural) and that the handyman recommended the plumber as he was unable to fix them, the problem being beyond his skills. Paster was called in and they were on it immediately and all was fixed by the end of the day.

I was very favorably impressed from the moment Debbie answered the phone - she was courteous and friendly and was able to answer my questions - including the cost - over the phone. Other companies I'd called insisted on sending out a "technician" before they would answer a simple question about how much it would cost to replace a water heater. One company even told me I'd have to go back on-line to Angie's List and pay for the work, then they would send someone out to actually do the work. Really??? Matt (from Paster & Sons) came out to do the repair and he was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable and even answered a couple of plumbing questions regarding another matter on our property. We're glad we found this wonderful company and we plan to continue to use them for all of our plumbing needs. Thank you everybody at Paster Plumbing!

They were great. From the initial phone call to the "on the way" call, perfect. The repairman was terrific and fast.

This was the 4th company to come out and they were the only ones to know how to fix it. They were very professional and courteous. I have had horrible experiences in the past with plumbers but they were a great experience. He replaced multiple things. He also went above and beyond the call of duty by doing things that he did not have to do. He included this in the original estimate.

We called this company, who was referred to us by family who had used them in the past. They were extremely pleasant and helpful and able to schedule to have a plumbing technician arrive the next day as we requested. The office called us 20 minutes prior to his arrival to inform us of his ETA. He arrived on time stated and was friendly and professional. He took off his shoes outside on our porch without even being asked. Big points for being respectful of our home and flooring! We showed him to the work site and he after a quick yet thorough inspection of the problem, he proceeded to get all the needed parts before starting the work. He explained what he was going to do. We had asked for the quote over the phone the previous day, so he immediately began the work. Within 20 minutes he was done. He then tested everything twice, we paid the fee and he was on his way. Super friendly and easy to work with. We'd definitely work with them again and most importantly, after the work was done, we were left with a sense of trust and satisfaction that other plumbers don't often provide.

Very good service and very knowledgeable. They found the problem, told me how I could fix it, I fixed it myself and had them come back to inspect it to make sure the repair was done properly. I was very impressed with them.

Overall, they were very nice in the process and they were able to diagnose the problem quickly. We would use them again in the future.

The plummer arrived on-time and provided an oral estimate before starting work. I followed his recommendation and he did everything as stated. I was very pleased with the professionalism and recommendation. He replaced the copper pipe from the point of the original shut-off valve to the point of the sprinkler valve - about two feet including numerous elbows. My only concern is the cost which was $800 for four hours of work including 30 minutes to buy the needed parts. That may be the going rate, but $200 per hour seems fairly steep to me.
