Gino is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He took measurements, showed me samples of wood for the cabinets, created a sketch, and quoted a price of $57,000, which also included extending the kitchen flooring into the adjacent dining room and large hallway as well as refinishing or replacing extensive rails and pickets along the upstairs & downstairs hallways, stairs, and dining room. He also had good ideas about lighting. I did not give Imperial Remodeling the job because I preferred the layout of another remodeler. I’m sure I could have discussed a revision to the layout with Gino, but I was also concerned about the distance of the company from my home.

At all times Imperial Remodeling were pleasant and helpful. They arrived every day to work. I am proud of the house now. The job was done promptly with workers on the job every day until the job was done. They came in on-budget and on-time.

It took a lot of haggling to get things right. Also he had workman working until 9:00 Pm because he was rushing to do 2 jobs at one time.

Gino is very attentive and the work he and his crew performed was stunning, my kitchen turned out better than I could have expected. It was a big job because I was starting with a 70 year old kitchen that had never been upgraded. The kitchen required new wiring from the breaker box and installation and relocation of numerous plumbing and electrical outlets. Everything was handled very professionally and I'm very happy with the work.

After reading the reviews from 5/20/12 and 3/6/2014, we too experienced simili\ar things. We hired Imperial to remodel 2 bathrooms for my mother. After meeting with Gino, we were acceptable to the things he said he could do and he seem eager and willing to accommodate what my mother had wanted with her bathroom. It was basically a cosmetic update. On the bid, it stated that he would replace the bathroom window and replace with a size indicated on the bid, that window was not in stock anywhere and therefore my mother agreed to have a smaller size window put in. As the job went on, it became, a blame game and any mistake the crew made was blamed on my mother and told how she could not make up her mind. She compromised on the smaller window, everything else was negotiated as the job progressed. Gino was rude to my mother on several occasions, where family members had to step in and speak to him. Things that went wrong during the job process: The first plumber that was sent, did not install valves correct, another plumber came in to finish the job, a third plumber was brought in to finish what the 2nd plumber had started, during demo, hole was made in the adjoining wall to the room next to it, electrical outlet was installed right behind the faucet, literally, right behind it. Gino's foreman, had to move it. Second Bathroom, electrical was installed incorrectly and had to be moved, (I am not sure if this is even to code). The wall had to be repaired and is not as smooth as the first time, which is disappointing. Shower never backed up, now it backs up all the time. It was so stressful, that my mother wishes she never had her bathrooms remodeled.

I had a great experience with Imperial Remodeling. The owner personally came to give the estimate and oversaw all of the work. He was very accessible by phone and took a lot of pride in making sure that the work was completed to the highest standards of quality. Though my job was a small one (the bathroom is less than 60 square feet), Imperial Remodeling gave me a very competitive price and treated the job respectfully. I was very pleased with their service.

Gino was very knowledgeable and helpful. He takes your home and goals personally, thinking about every detail as if it were his own home. Definitely trust him with your home projects!

I would request an estimate from them again. They were a little high. I chose not to go with them because the estimate was too high.

My parents had their kitchen remodeled with Gino and team. It was a beautiful remodel, with great attention to detail, an upscale look, and quality materials. Gino even went above and beyond to add a few custom features that we really wanted. All done within the time and budget originally discussed - a rare find among contractors. Would highly recommend Imperial Remodeling for the great work!

Gino did a great job. He came in the first day and sketched his vision, showed me pictures of alternative materials and quickly followed up with a detailed quote and timeline that he kept. I work outside the home and gave him a key and he took care of everything, keeping me informed every step along the way with calls and texts. I felt like it was his only job but knew it was not. After the job was completed and all monies were paid, he personally returned to make minor adjustments. Hire Gino and it will be best decision you can make for your home renovation!

When I called I spoke with Gino and explained what I purchased to set up a time to get the 3D Renderings. He was unbelievably pushy over the phone. I remember reading in the promotion that you would get the designs and wouldn't be pressed to do anything else through them. When I mentioned that he said well that isn't the way he gets business and that this is the way he gets business. I felt uncomfortable with the way he spoke to me and decided to cancel the deal.

The job went very well. Gino was ever present as the work went on. Workers were very professional and mindful of our existing home decor (I.e. Wood floors, furniture, pets, etc.). The job was completed in a timely manner as prescribed by Gino and cost were kept within proper perimeters as related to the work done. I highly recommend Imperial Remodeling...

Gino was always available and we chose him initially because of how proactive he was. We sought multiple bids on our renovation and he had quotes to us by the end of the day. We had told him that we needed to be on a very tight schedule and he took that to heart. He told us that the job would be done in less than 10 weeks and he stuck to that schedule. We spoke nearly every day and he was on site to oversee the crew as they completed the job. He took us to his house to see his own work, and accompanied us to look at hardwood floors and stone. He was available whenever we needed him and wanted us to be very happy with the result. He finished on time and every looks very nice!

Gino did a gorgeous kitchen remodel for me about six months ago (see my review from 10/29/15). The window was measured and blinds were ordered based on the initial measurements. During the backsplash tile installation, Gino decided to also tile the window ledge (fabulous, by the way). Due to this modification, the blinds didn't close properly. I contacted Gino a few months later, and he happily corrected the problem. The window looks perfect. Gino is attentive and reachable by phone or text, most important for busy schedules. His customers' satisfaction is priority. He doesn't consider a job complete until he can ask, "Are you happy?" and the answer is, "Yes."

Gino and his crew showed skill and pride in their work. The work was done quickly, on schedule, and for the price he'd quoted. He was also willing to handle our follow up inquiries and went the extra mile to ensure our total satisfaction. We were very pleased with the result of the project. I would certainly recommend Gino to others.

I did buy the granite. It turned out just fine. It worked out just great. The vendor did a nice job and everything was good. They helped me sell my house which was great. They were pretty good with their punctuality.

Perfect. Gino was extremely attentive and fair. From the moment I met him on the consult, I knew that he understood exactly what I wanted and would get it for me at the highest quality an best possible price. Gino went above and beyond to handle some extra smaller jobs and he was always accommodating. His word is always good and I highly recommend him.

I recently downsized from a two bed/two bath condo to one half the size. This ordinary, 650 SF, 45-year-old condo needed a bit of TLC. I reached out to Angie's List for six referrals, which I narrowed down to three. I made appointments with each contractor, Gino Henn of Imperial Remodeling being the first one. Gino and I walked through each area of the condo. As I pointed out my likes/dislikes of the existing "decor," Gino took notes and suggested what he would do if hired for the project. He showed me photos of his past work and credentials, impressive no doubt. For the kitchen remodel, I knew it wasn't going to be cheap. I wanted my dream kitchen and had to put my faith, trust (and money) into Gino's hands. I reluctantly decided to cancel the other two appointments and handed Gino my house keys and a deposit. Was I crazy for not getting at least a second estimate? Four weeks later, no, I wasn't crazy. Gino was true to his word. I have my dream kitchen and more. Gino and his crew worked quickly with minimal disturbance to the other condo residents. The job was completed a day before I was scheduled to move in. Gino and I kept in touch mostly by text, but he was always responsive and stayed on top of things. We worked together on lights, paint colors, tile, granite, faucets and fixtures. He seemed to understand my design style without me having to show him what I liked. Almost every sample he suggested was one I would've picked on my own. At first I was nervous about this financial undertaking, whether or not I made the right decision. As the job progressed, Gino would text me photos of the kitchen, lighting, or something else that had been completed. Gino would say, "Don't worry, everything for you." There are so many extra things he did "just because." He did an amazing tile backsplash that continued into the kitchen window? very stylish and unique? or the night he drove in evening rush hour traffic to pick up an oversized medicine cabinet that wouldn't fit in my car? helping me shop for faucets via text as I was in the hardware store alone, completely clueless on what to buy? modifying an outdated air conditioning compartment that didn't pass home inspection? finding the perfect heater/light for a very small bathroom. Gino did everything I asked to make my little condo functional, livable, and most importantly, home. There were a few hiccups along the way but nothing that couldn't be worked around. Honestly, I suppose I could've paid less? gotten a second or third estimate? I'm cringing at how much money I spent? but would I have gotten the same quality and service? Maybe, maybe not. Gino's customers come first, and he's not happy unless they are. This customer is very happy. Thank you, Gino and Imperial for a job very well done.

Overall, Gino and his team did a great job. I had a small bathroom remodeled and he provided great advice on what to do and executed in a timely manner. Gino is very responsive and cares a lot about the finished product. I'm very happy with my remodeled bathroom!

The contractor, Gino Henn, was personable, knowledgeable, and very easy to relate to. I will definitely use Gino on another project. Gino Henn and his company will definitely be a company I will use in the future.

I have used Imperial several times and will continue to work with them. As always they are reliable and get the job done professionally. Gino is a good guy and always delivers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND as always!

Everything went very well. The job took a little longer than expected (estimate was about 3 weeks for the whole job, but it took almost 4). I was okay with that because it was a very big job, and I had a feeling it may take a little longer anyways. I am happy that they didn't rush through anything just to meet a deadline. Gino was great to work with and gave me many great ideas for tile colors and designs, as well as colors and designs for the custom vanity and countertop. He also made sure that the different specialist crews started their respective phases of the project on schedule and ensured that there was seamless transition from one phase of the project to the next. The cost of the project may seem like a lot, but that is because it is a very big bathroom. I also requested to add a few things such as more lighting as the project went on, so that added a little to the cost. I gave the pricing a B instead of A because Gino went with a higher quality/higher cost lighting whereas I would have been okay with a lower cost lighting option from Home Depot or Lowe's. That isn't a big deal though and is partially my fault since I could have done my own research and instructed him to go with the lower cost option. However Gino is all about delivering a very high quality product, so his choice of lighting is consistent with that. Gino also makes himself available to rectify any lingering issues that may arise after the job is complete. One example is that the water wasn't going down the drain of the shower properly the first time I used the shower, however when I brought it up to him, Gino came out and took care of the issue the same day. It turned out to be a little debris blocking the drain from the tiling, which had to be cleared out, so not a big deal. That gave me assurance that should anything else arise (I doubt anything will) in the future that he will come back and take care of it. Overall I am very satisfied with the job. Everything was very well planned out, the communication from Gino was outstanding, and although the job took slightly longer, that wasn't a big deal because the excess time ensured increased quality. I would recommend Gino and his crew for any job, big or small!

The project took longer than expected, however that was do in part to issues with the company that supplied the fixtures. They did not ship on time and when they did ship, parts were missing. Gino, at Imperial, and his team went several times to pick up the missing parts and items that were late arriving. The overall job turned out great and I am pleased. Even after I gave my final check to Imperial, they came back twice to fine tune a few items that were not discovered until later. Gino is very responsive by both phone and text.
