Our company does not offer a flat rate for a job. We bill hourly or daily. Our rates are clearly posted on our website and I also made it clear to her on the phone and via text message before the cleanup was scheduled. She was happy with the cleanup on the first day and even sent us a text message thanking us for the "gentle treatment you two gave to me and [Member Name Removed]" and then proceeded to ask us for a job. The job was not done so she agreed to have our employee, Richard, go back for a discounted rate of $100 an hour. After 7.5 hours, she told Richard that she was not going to pay us for the second day. We told Richard to leave. She never paid us for the second day and I was willing to let it go. But then she proceeded to try to blackmail us into a full refund in order to not receive a bad review. We were initially going to give her back $500 of the $1400 she paid for the first day but the messages kept coming and we realized that even a full refund would not make her happy. She wanted us to clean not only the garage but also the house and storage units for free. "We have the next 4 projects.. We have two rooms in the back of the house, an office, two bedrooms, two storage units... . What do you propose?" When we declined, she sent us a series of long, ballistic text and voicemail messages threatening to report us to every single online review site, agency, police department and so on. I don't understand why she is so unhappy. She got 7.5 of biohazard, rodent dropping cleanup plus disposal fees for free. We do our best to provide quality service for industry low prices.
