We hired them to do shower about a year and half ago and were pleased with their work. So when I wanted to replace tile floors in same bathroom I called them. The job they did was awful. Did not prepare floor properly after removal of old tile and ended up with a wavy mosaic floor!

We were very pleased with the overall process and the journey with Adam, the Owner, and with Carlos and team. Adam communicated the daily process and is fair, reasonable and thoughtful. He regularly visited the site and was vested in the project. Carlos and team were very knowledgeable, pleasant to work with and worked hard and quickly... And they cleaned up at the end of each day. Adam has very good resources for materials and design advice, for cabinetry and for kitchen and bath construction. They went above and beyond trying to install a kitchen faucet that we ordered and it turned out to be faulty to no fault of their own - but nevertheless worked to make it right. We are grateful for their work and the opportunity to work with them. We would highly recommend Gold Standard.

Adam and his crew did a fantastic job on enlarging our shower. All commitments were met and exceeded. Would definitely recommend this company for their professionalism and quality.

Carlos and crew did good work and solved a lot of issues related to an older home. Adam was on site regularly and was pleasant. Each follow-up was addressed and although a couple of minor things needed to be adjusted, they were addressed to our satisfaction. Adam and team worked well with our design and choices, and intervened with companies we purchased products from as necessary. Looking forward to our next project with them!

It was a fantastic experience with Adam, the owner of Gold Builders. I had my kitchen cabinets replaced and the backsplash done as well with some electrical work . He is very professional and so are his crew. The crew always came on time and finished the work and cleaned up. after and left the place clean . He finished the entire kitchen within the time frame promised in the contract . Adam was always on top of overlooking the job and was very communicative throughout the whole project . Will definitely hire them back if I have another project in the house. Definitely a 5 Star experience.

We would recommend Gold Standard Builders for a home improvement project hands down! Adam was thorough in his explanation of each stage when sitting down to give us a quote. When the project started, he was very communicative through email and text regarding what to expect each day. His crew was very respectful and professional. The work was done in the estimated time he gave us! Even when we had some slight concerns about the paint job in one of the bathrooms, he sent the crew out again and fix it. We were very happy with the bathroom remodel and have Adam to thank for that!! Can't thank him enough for the great quality work they did!!

Adam and his crew did a great job on my Kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom floor/sink remodel. This is a rental property so we also had to deal with tenants. Adam and his crew were very responsive, flexible, timely, and did a good job overall. There were a couple appliances installed incorrectly at first but the crew reinstalled them correctly. It all looks beautiful! I appreciate all the hard work!

It would of been a 5 star but it took quite a bit longer than quoted to complete. Adam was very easy to work with and Carlos & Sergio were very professional, helpful and hard working. Great work guys.

From the first time I met with Adam, I had a really good feeling about this group. They completed our kitchen remodel on time and on budget. The whole family is very happy with the results of our Caribbean Kitchen!

This is the first time I've worked with Gold Standard Builders, but the first time they worked inside the house. It was a large project that took a few months, but the result was definitely worth it. Gold Standard Builders gave my family our forever dream home! Adam & Zack are true professionals from beginning to end. They transformed our home from a 3+1 of 1200 sq. ft. to a 4+3 of 2000 sq. ft. It was a complete remodel all the way down to the concrete slab, a new 800 sq. ft. addition and some updates to a detached garage. They completed everything within budget and schedule as promised and helped guide me through the process. They always answered any questions, kept me informed with status and very responsive to return my call/texts within hours. Adam even met me to help pick out kitchen cabinets and countertops. I can't thank them enough for making this process as easy as possible and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional general contractor that can do it all.

I met with 6 different contractors and before I had even received their quote I was impressed with and had a good feeling about Gold Standard Builders over all the others. And then I got their quote, and while price is not always everything, their price came in significantly lower than several of their competitors. But the lower price did not mean lower quality work. Adam is an excellent project manager and his team, led by Carlos was very professional with a great attention to detail. Had master bathroom retiled, new faucets, new vanity and replaced flooring and all done in less time than originally expected. Will definitely use them again!!

I will hire them for any future project

I used this contractor almost 3 years ago, he told me it was a family business and he had 15 or more years experience. His experience was as a sales person, not a contractor! My tub has a crack in it near the drain as it was not installed nor leveled correctly. I have his note pad where he Googled on how to install a tub. The molding around the tub pulls off the wall as it moves slightly when you get in and out. The shower knob will not stay on after he replaced it twice. The towel bar on the door fell off after the 2nd month. He replaced it once but it comes off all the time and I am sick of replacing. I now need a new door and new tub. I turn the shower fixture from bath mode to shower mode with pliers. The tile floor is not level and you can clearly see how tiles are up higher on one side or another. The tile is a beautiful light grey and the grout he used is now a very dirty dark brown. I travel a lot and it was suppose to be completed in 2-3 weeks. While I was in Australia, the neighbors called the police at 3:00am as the contractor and his girlfriend were staying in my condo. They told my neighbor to f.... off I have a video of how the contractors had tools and dust and trash everywhere. I organized the area so I could walk through. The job was not completed for 12-13 weeks, nightmare. I actually ended up hiring someone to come in and complete it. He uses the pics of my bathroom for his website! The pics don't show the lousy paint job nor does it show he used the old wood trim and used grout and paint to make it look like new behind the toilet.He did pay for the person I hired but I do not have the beautiful new bathroom I paid for. Why post after 3 years? I did not want to do it because I did not want to ruin his business but I need to replace the tub and it frustrates me every time I look at the crack in the tub.

Adám was very professional and was easy to talk to about expectations and concerns. Would definitely hire him again for another project.

They were on time when they said they would be, the one time that they didnt Adam called me immediately and they came. Adam is very tight on the work quality and the time that they come.

I hired Gold Standard Builders to remodeled my entire kitchen, three bathrooms, new flooring and paint the entire house, as well as chimney wall update. I am very pleased with the results. Working with Adam was a pleasure, he is very professional and easy to work with. I would recommend Gold Standard Builders to anyone including friends and family and I will use them in the future for any other projects. Very pleased five stars all the way!

Great guys. Zak is on it. Is a pleasure working with him on our backyard. They added a 20 foot by 40 foot patio cover, pavers, fire pit, lawn and sprinklers. After the work was completed when a problem with the add on came up I called Zak and he was on top of fixing the problems quickly. As we add more and more to the yard they ll always be our first call.

Gold Standard Builders actually did 5 things: sandblasted house, re-stuccoed, stripped chimney of peeling paint and restored the natural brick, replaced my driveway and replaced an old chain link fence with a pretty wooden one. This was all done in less than 2 weeks! They did a great job.

I enjoyed working with Gold Standard Builders and I really love the two bathrooms they did for us, but I have to share what I've shared with friends looking for a contractor. They do great work, but you have to be prepared to do all of the designing. (You're responsible for all fixtures and if you've never researched shower systems and permit restrictions, etc. then the process can get overwhelming quickly. We weren't aware we needed asbestos testing until a friend inquired and only then did they do it. I provided a spreadsheet of all products we were planning to buy with dimensions. I assumed the team was taking the details into consideration, but they didn't so they didn't measure out the medicine cabinet correctly and it led to extra projects correcting the paint. The vanity's size wasn't considered and they learned at the very end that it didn't fit which led to added weeks of trying to work around the mistake. (This is the only reason they received a 4 and not a 5. The team didn't share with us that they didn't close the wall behind our vanity. We randomly found it, but once we did and told Adam and the team they worked to correct it in order to make it safe.) That being said, if you sit down with them and plan out those things in advance you'll get amazing work. They work with skilled teams who do amazing work. We have a custom vanity that is one of my favorite pieces in my whole house.

Gold Standard Builders helped my mom demolish an unpermitted patio, demolish and replace the old roof, demolish an old concrete slab, build a new patio and pour a new slab. If you decide to chose this company, keep on top of the project to report issues immediately, because this company works fast, so if you don't catch it then you may be very upset after all the work is done. My mom caught their subcontractor modifying the new patio without consulting her first. This issue resulted in an unexpected change that cost us $1.5k more. Overall the project cost $43k including permits. There were times when my mom got very upset, but Adam and his partner were able to address the issues. Overall, I think they will listen to your concerns and try their best to make sure your project happens the way you want. At the end of the project, my mom was satisfied.
