Description of Work: They removed three large hornet nests from the 2nd floor eves of our home. Very professional, analyzed the situation for avoiding damaging roof in order to access, cleaned up all nests even from the awnings below the roof line and gave pointers on how to avoid future nests, i.e. water etc.

Description of Work: Andre came out and did a great inspection. There was a slight scheduling mix up this morning, (We had 3 emails, I had confirmed my availability this morning but hadn't gotten a confirmation. So I thought they would be here this morning but noshow- honestly, I should have called, or double checked when I didn't get an email back. I then called and they immediately straitened it out and got someone out here today! Not only that, I'd left voice mail for the dispatcher, the receptionist called back fifteen minutes later to ask if I'd gotten through; I said I left voice mail, so she immediately setup Andre for this afternoon, while I stayed on the call. That was exceptional follow up. That was great! Andre was very punctual, knocked on the door at 1:01. Perfect! Took only an hour, found all of the termite damage and said would prepare an estimated for repairs. I don't have the estimate yet, but it sounded pretty reasonable which was a concern. He also discussed treatment and prevention, which was great. I'm pretty handy around a house, but I really appreciate the advice from a pro!

Description of Work: I purchased a $99 Big Deal for $500 worth of termite exterminating and prevention services. He did absolutely nothing. He didn't even inspect it. We finally got him to go into the attic, but all he did was confirm that we have termite damage. He refused to go under the house in our crawl space. We do need termite service, but I won’t hire him. Part of the problem was that we were painting the outside of the house and we needed some dry rot repaired before finishing the painting. He was rude and possibly turned off by that. Having him come out felt like a big waste of time. We are inquiring with Angie’s List for a refund.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List Big Deal of the Day knowing that I needed to get my house tented for termites. It cost me $99 for the on site visit and estimate (many other companies offer this service for free) but it also included a $500 off services rendered if I used them. I got the estimate and it seemed awfully high for just the tenting portion. (I had wood rot damage so there was a second line item that addressed those costs.) The tenting service MINUS the $500 off voucher was still $200 OVER Hungry Termite estimate (also on Angie's list - but Hungry Termite came highly recommended) I was better off losing the $99 for the initial fee and going with another company than to use The Termite Guy. I think they fattened up the price of the service to off set the coupon value - and STILL charge more than they should. Would not and did not use them.

Description of Work: I'm considering selling my mobile home and moving out of state. Scott was very nice, and very professional. He gave me a lot of good advise for my immediate future. At this time I didn't need his pest control services, but will use him in the future when it becomes necessary. I purchased a special coupon , that had expired on 12/4, and the company honored the coupon anyway, which of course made me very grateful.
