If you are familiar with older homes, you know all the nooks and crannies, the intricate moulding, bannisters, railings, and ornate light fixtures where dust can, and will, take residence. Martha and the girls didn't miss anything. They went to work with smiles on their faces, and their enthusiasm did not wane all day. Our realtor was so impressed, he used Martha to clean another property that he was selling.

Martha is a fantastic. She does an excellent job of the house and has a team of ladies that are very thorough. They are very careful, respectful of your home and furnishings. I have used Martha since June of 2012 and the cleanings are consistent. She is a hardworking and trustworthy person and takes pride in the ownership of the business. I am very lucky I found her as I know so many people that cant find good housecleaning services, I struck gold with Martha!

I had a friend oversee the process as I was not there but she was very impressed. The service even cleaned out all the cupboards in the garage. Do hire them. They were very professional and thorough. They did all the work for the quoted rate.

I moved out of my townhome and needed a deep cleaning for the new tenants. I called Martha on a Monday and she was able to get me in the next day. Martha and her team arrived a little later than stated, but other than that the service was great. Martha walked with me through the home and I told her where I wanted extra focus. As we did that, she noted the same to her girls. About 4 hours later, Martha called and said her girls would be done in about 15 min. I went back over to meet them and the place looked great. The kitchen was scrubbed clean, including fridge, stovetop, microwave, and the inside of all cabinets. All baseboards and blinds were cleaned and the master shower, which needed the most scrubbing, looked excellent. I was pleased with their work and service and would use them again. Martha could not come back to pick up her team, so sent her son to come and pick them up and he was very nice and professional. He also offered to walk through the home with me to ensure that the team did not miss anything.

I was having a party at my house on Saturday and wanted my house cleaned. I had waited until Tuesday to call and even though it was short notice Martha was able to fit me in. The staff was friendly and got to work immediately. They also cleaned my windows inside and out. I did not know they could get so clean. Bottom line they did an excellent job and I was very pleased.

They showed up on time and immediately went to work. I was assured three hours and that is how long they were there. Generally I am happy with the work but some rather obvious things were overlooked. Some windows were not cleaned and there were a few missed cobwebs in the corners. Some of the baseboards were also missed. To be fair, I did not do a real thorough walk-through after the cleaning. Had I pointed them out, they would have been corrected. Make sure you check their work and let them know if they missed anything, I am sure they will address anything overlooked.

The service was excellent. They were very prompt, and they did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

I contacted Martha through her web site and got a prompt reply by phone. We discussed my needs over the phone, she described her process, and quoted a price. We scheduled for the following Saturday at 1 pm, with an option for them to call me if they could get there earlier. They finished their morning job early, and were able to arrive early. Martha's son Matt was leading the crew that day, and represented his mother beautifully. We did a walk-through, and discussed what needed to get done, the ladies were already hauling in supplies, and ready to dig in. The separate window-cleaning crew arrived, and confirmed what needed to be done before removing the screens and getting to work. 5 hours of hard work ensued. At one point, there was no place to go where I wasn't in the way, so I went out and tidied the garage. You work that hard in my house, and I don't care if I find a smudge here or there later. A! A+! The ladies threw everything short of nuclear weapons at my shower doors, and made a huge difference. Vero blasted my kitchen with clean, even polishing up my two hurricane candle holders, and arranging them for effect on the counter. The inside of my refrigerator was spotless... like new! Stovetop, clean and shiny! Tile countertops, never cleaner. Likewise, the window cleaners got my windows and sliders clean, and even helped me out by gluing the trim back on one window that can't be reached without a tall ladder.

Martha and her crew (3 other gals) were very punctual and did an excellent job in their cleaning services. She is professional and wants to do her best as this is her business. She stayed with the price that she quoted even though they were here a little longer than expected. Martha is outgoing, very pleasant to work with, & also helpful with cleaning tips. They are going to come back in two weeks to do regular cleaning as well as further "deep cleaning"....but then she thinks we may be able stretch it to every three weeks in lieu of two. I really appreciated her working with me. Seems to be a person on integrity.

This was my mother's house. She passed away in 1993. She was always an excellent housekeeper and you could have eaten off the floors it was always so clean. I moved away from my mom's house in 1980, but my sister and father remained there even after my mother passed on. My father remarried a few years later and my sister was left alone there, as she never married. Fortunately, my husband and I had bought the house next door and lived there for 18 years. We moved to another state in 2010. My sister, was not as good a housekeeper as my mom was and she also had a large number of cats (after my mom passed away she started collecting cats, or rather couldn't turn one away). Then in 2003 my brother moved in (and he had 9 cats). So, you can imagine what can happen with a house full of cats. My sister was older than I, and found out she had terminal cancer early in 2011. I had a different housekeeping outfit come clean, lay new carpet, etc. in 2011 so my sister would have a cleaner living environment. By then the number of cats had receded by attrition (they got old and started dying, were cremated and all have little boxes with their ashes inside and their names inscribed on a brass plaque). My sister passed away in January 2012. My father, who had, in the interim, lost his second wife, moved in and lived with, and moved to Oregon with my husband and I. My father was ill, and passed away 16 days after my sister. So I wasn't able to stay in So.Cal. to get the house set up for cleaning. My brother was living there and said he could take care of it. But I should have realized that he was not in good shape either. So I went back to So.Cal in April, and stayed until June and Martha Palomares crew came out and did an amazingly good job cleaning the house the first time I had them there which is why I wanted them to come clean this time. My brother went in the hospital in early October and passed away on the 26th. This meant there would be no one to live in the house, and that I inherited the 5 remaining cats, they are all over 10 years old and I will take good care of them. But I had to close down the family house and put it on the market (remember I live in another state now). Martha and crew came and did another amazing job, amid packed boxes and chaos. They cleaned the walls, ceilings, floors (that they could actually get to amid the boxes) and did a wonderful job. She had someone come back during daylight hours to clean all the windows (which were hard to get to also due to the packed boxes). I wished I could have had her come over after the movers removed everything (but I had no place to stay with 5 cats after the movers took everything). So I placed a call to her today, January 6, 2013 and asked if she could work with the realtor and get back in the house to clean the places they couldn't get to the first time. Martha is so wonderful, she took the Realtor's number and told me she would arrange to get it done. This is a good company and a great reliever of stress for me. I only wish I had had more time to get more done at the house before a new buyer gets in there. My mother is probably rolling over with her list of things I should have had done before selling it. It was my mother's house, she loved it, she loved her husband(s) there, she raised her children there, had her parties there, her friends that were lifelong friends, her brothers, sister, in-laws, grandchildren, and all the people she loved there; all the times and people that were "hers" and are good memories for me. How do you love a house? I don't know, but it's really hard to part with it; and Martha makes it better when it's clean like my mother would have appreciated. Thank you Martha Palomares and Crew!

Though we had some difficulty connecting, once Martha and I set a date, and her crew arrived, they did an outstanding job. I don't think my house has been this clean in the 9 years I've owned it. My house isn't huge (1,600 sq feet) and this service is a little on the pricey side, but I am very happy with how clean everything is!

Good cleaning however I needed to replace my living room blinds (they got broken), one of the slats of the bedroom wooden blinds got broken off--they denied doing it, said it was already broken, broke a picture frame, ceiling fan in one bedroom no longer worked. Was difficult to maintain a constant/standing appointment time due to her family activities.

October went well. This was the second time we used them and we were very pleased with the service (and price). But, they were scheduled to come and clean our house just before Thanksgiving and, on the day they were supposed to come, they did not show at all. We called Martha and were told she had been in an accident and had spent the entire day at the hospital with one of her workers. Of course we were disappointed, but we understood. We decided to skip November since it was too late to get a cleaning prior to Thanksgiving. We then scheduled to have her crew come the Monday before Christmas. Again, she did not show nor call. We've now called her several times and left messages (her answer machine still works and answers as if her business was real) to no avail. I then checked the Better Business Bureau and found a "business alert" saying that this business no longer exists. We find it completely unprofessional to not call us and tell us she was no longer in business. It is now less than one week before Christmas and we have a house full of guests coming and probably zero chance of finding another service to clean our house. We don't know what happened to Martha Palomares and her business but she has left a bitter taste in our mouth for being abandoned so unprofessionally. We hope that whatever caused her to do this is something she can recover from as her problems have (I suspect) magnified the stress of many customers who were caught unaware and now have the added trouble of cleaning their own homes in the midst of an already stressful holiday.

Martha and her crew are ultra professional and efficient. I love that the owner (Martha) comes each time with the team and oversees that the house is really cleaned from top to bottom. They do a great job, bring their own supplies and tools, are flexible with dates and times and haven't let me down (and I have really high expectations). Definitely recommended!

I considered this to be a difficult job for a cleaning service. Martha and her team of 5 other workers plus one window cleaner worked for 5+ hours to complete the project. They did an excellent job. The oven which was quite grimey came out looking like a shiny new appliance inside as did the refrigerator, the plantation shutters were well done, and everything was spotless when they finished with the floor to ceiling drywall dust gone. Martha headed up the team plus worked herself, seemed to manage her team well, had excellent communication with me before and during the project, and was enjoyable to be around. Phone calls were returned extremely promptly and courteously, the team arrived within a half hour of the scheduled time, and the window cleaner arrived early. The team members were pleasant and courteous people who were conscientious and worked hard the entire 5+ hours, which was longer than originally estimated. I would like to continue with them on an ongoing basis for monthly or bimonthly more normal cleaning services if they are willing and their schedule permits. Martha had several suggestions in this area for how to use their service economically-- without doing everything every month, for instance--much appreciated. i was very favorably impressed with this team, and would be delighted to have them return.

The Overall experience was great. It was costly but the place needed the complete overhaul cleaning.

Martha Palomares knew I was desperate. It was the day before Thanksgiving and she probably could hear it in my voice. I returned after a long absence to find the old house I grew up in had not been thoroughly cleaned in many years (seriously). It was a mess and I tried to warn her that it was really bad, but she just reassured me that she would take care of it - and that is just exactly what she and her crew did. Most of the women who work for Martha are family members and once they start working, they do not stop until the job is done. Six women worked nonstop scrubbing walls and ceiling, cleaning oven and frig, and even cleaning under the burners on the stove. They used little wire brushes when needed, and even cleaned and polished the copper bottom pots! They dusted and carefully rearranged all the clutter they had to clean around and under, and cheerfully wiped every last smear off of every mirror in the house. They were amazing and I will be forever thankful that I found Palomares Cleaning Service on Angie's List.

The experience could not have gone better! Before renting the townhouse, I was in dire need of a deep cleaning! Martha and her team did an exceptional job of cleaning each of the rooms. I had never used a cleaning service in the past, so was surprised at the level of cleaning. I had one tough troublespot... the refridgerator. While on vacation for a week, there was a power outage and the refrigerator lost power and never came back on. Of course there was food inside. After the team finished, I couldn't believe how the refrigerator looked and smelled! I will gladly be using these services again!Garden

EXCELLENT service! Cleaned floors, walls, cupboards, baseboards, sinks. . .everything! Was sparkling after an 8+ year occupy. ..really loved it! Will use Palomares again at the new house!

Very professional and they did an excellent job at deep cleaning my house.

On the dot punctual. Crew of 5 spent 5 hrs cleaning my home from top to bottom. Highly responsive to requests within reason. Will be hiring for bimonthly service as well as recommending to friends. Leader of the crew spoke English... no communication problems whatsoever. Very thorough cleaning. I had a different cleaning service a year or two ago (Bright Housecleaning) and I am sure that my house is cleaner now than ever before with Palomares. I rarely do reviews, but I am so pleased with today's cleaning, that I am taking the time to do so because they deserve the praise and the business from others.

I had to call to change a schedule and did not have no problem rescheduling it. On the cleaning day, Martha called me and said they will be late for 15 mins, so I waited. I made a couple of calls while waiting to make sure they were on the way and each time they are really close. However, they finally came after about 1 hour of wait, which made me mad a bit. They explained why they were late, but they could have just said it would be 1 hour wait, not 10 mins wait. The house including garage had so much dusts since remodeling was just finished, so I was in need to cleaning up the entire so that we would not live under dust once moving in. I got a phone call from Martha after 2 1/2 hours and she said it was done. I went to the place and they were still cleaning the garage. I felt that they wanted to rush the job and leave. However, when I checked the inside of the house, the work was impressive though, so I was happy about that. I'm giving C and B respectively to Punctuality and Professionalism because of how Martha handled the situation of her being late and the whole team of crew arrived 1 hour late. Other than that, it was excellent experience and result. Also I loved the discount for angieslist member, so the price was after the discount. Originally she quoted me "$300".
