They billed me for a dump truck I never needed or used. They ripped me off. They were using false advertising with the BBB. They double-charged me for a lot of things. He charged me for two guys, when only one came out. They charged for 6 hours of labor for only 2 hours. He charged me $150 for supplies/material for a little bit of drywall for something that was $12. I asked him to supply me receipts, which he didn't. The guy that came out was even an hour late. He said he would be gone for an hour to go to Home Depot to pick up some supplies, when he was gone for 2 hours and charged me for that whole time.
Description of Work: The year before, the insurance paid for part of my flood damage. There was water in the wall space (3 x 3' area) behind my washer/dryer that was causing a leak.

Description of Work: Vista Flood Restoration did drying out of a condo from a water pipe leak. They dried out the place and removed the mold. We paid them for this work with in 30 days upon completion. They did not do the restoration work because their prices were outrageous. We had another complany complete the restoration. 3 years later Vista Flood billed us for work they never did. Then they put a lien on the property. Letters and phone calls were made to them but they would not respond. I had to hire a lawyer to get the lien removed. Lien are not suppose to be put on 3 years after the date of the job. Then after getting the lien removed Vista Flood Filed an action in Superior Court for the work they never did. I had to spend more money on legal bills to fight this action. I would never use this company.

I was more than impressed with there professionalism, work ethic and attention to detail were exceptional. Al (owner) was very good at staying in contact with me on a regular basis throughout the process of my claim. They always showed up on time and were very polite to me and my wife. Contacted company. Employees came to my home on Dec 4, 07, surveyed damage, asked about my insurance company and started the work. I was told no payment was due-they would contact my insurance company. I asked for a written estimate, but was told to contact the owner. Tried contacting the owner over a several week period, but could not get a written estimate. Finally reached him and was given a verbal estimate of $1187. On Feb 4, received a bill for $4700.90. Many charges not performed in home. Discussed with insurance company and concluded I'd pay $3408.53. Sent letter with my check on Mar 28, 07. Contractor has not acknowledged receipt of correspondence, nor has he cashed my check. Check remains outstanding in my checking account. Do not know how to proceed. Need your help.
Description of Work: Ceiling leak in bedroom closet and bathroom. Drilled 8 holes in back wall of closet and 1 hole in the bathroom wall above tile baseboard. Brought in 2 blowers/humidifiers to dry out area. Removed 4 feet of carpet/pad from closet. Removed 3 shelves from closet system. When dried out, patched holes, painted closet ceiling, replaced with existing baseboard and replaced carpet pad in closet. Closet system not returned to original state.
