REAL DEAL PAINTING

I don't know who wrote those all 5 star reviews, doesn't seem to reflect real face of the owner, Angel Flores Jr, here is why. He is habitual liar, promise breaker. Gave 13 promises, literally I counted each one, only three performed, all other 10 just never happened. It was a nightmare. He received $3800 deposit and not returning it for three weeks now even after several of my demands. I asked him for contractor's bond and liability insurance, promised, but never given any. He employs people but doesn't have an insurance stating he works solo in Contractor's State License Board. He intentionally and illegally demanded more than half of total amount for deposit, that is against California construction regulations allowing to get only 10% or $1000 from the total contract price. Not being aware of that regulation I gave him $3800 deposit back in June 26. On July 5 when job had to be started he texted saying we can't start because he got another job and need to complete in 2-3 days. Promised to come on July 7-8, guess what, job was not completed by then. Then pushing it to July 11. A day prior on July 10 he is calling and making up new story why he can't come on July 11 for another week. Finally my patience has run out, I demanded to quit and refund my deposit. Same kind of attitude with broken promises started, "I will return it to you all cash in person", "I am not in San Diego right now", "I am super stressed about this, losing sleep trust me, I am not going to rip you off" keep pushing from one day to another day, etc. When I call he is no longer picking up the phone only sending text messages that he is very sorry and going to refund soon. At the end, I lost three weeks with no job started and having no money. Once I will get my deposit back from Angel I will update this review.

Power washed house and scraped old paint when necessary Painted the exterior of the house including trim, stucco, window frames, doors, and bricks lining front vegetation. Used primer and 3 coats of paint. There were two workers. Both were personable and listened carefully to comments and requests. Cleaned up their work when they were done.
