I ordered the cabinets from someone and ended up firing him, he messed up orders for me and other people. Having them stand behind it was a nightmare.

It was fine. Nothing stood out which is a good thing because sometimes dealing with contractors, they’re late or they don’t get it all completed at once. Everything happened as expected. I would possibly use them depending on the price.

I had purchased steel-braided covered washer hoses about a year ago. They did not pass the water to the washing machine adequately due to some restrition in the hose. I replaced them with other hoses I got on the internet,  and forgot to return the defective ones to the store. It was about a year later that I found them and took them back. I was issued full credit on them, even though I did not have the receipt. Home Depot always stands behind the products they sell. I buy all my hardware from them.

They were very good.  I had one little error and they came out immediately and fixed it.  They even gave me a free window.

Great customer service, good estimating, careful planning went into his job. The roofers were excellent and the teardown, detection and replacement of rotted or termite wood was very good. One day to teardown. I spent the whole day with them (small crew of 3 and inspector/PM for small house). Careful consideration for existing penetrations in roof. Coordinated with the cellulose insullation contarctor (subbed to Home Depot) on day one. Roofers also assited me in replacing the rusted, old gable vent screens at no charge. I chose the premium white roof. The roof was installed in one day and included new covers for the penetration for vents and fans and heater, and two new turbines for the roof. I walked the new roof after and it is actually beautiful (in a contruction sense). Cleanup on both days was excellent; not a nail or tack or piece of wood lying around and they air blowed the driveway. They primed all the ends of all the facia that had to be replaced (they had bought the necessary wood on day one; at my request I primed the wood on that day and they used it the following day. Excellent, excellent job and I have the Home Depot guarentee on top of everything. Most pleased with this job.

They were friendly when we went there to pick out the washer and dryer. They delivered the washer and dryer for us but it took almost a whole month to get every thing.

The sales and service personnel at Home Depot (Genessee Ave location in San Diego) were very helpful, quite knowledgeable, and concerned with customer satisfaction. Once the purchase was completed at the store, the installation details were set by phone via the Home Depot toll-free number. The phone personnel were much worse. Their main concern was, at every point possible, to mention that no matter what happened I would be responsible for their minimum visit/service charge, around $250 or so. When a problem arose with the contractor (JW Flooring), the phone personnel were useless. I finally went physically to the Home Depot store on Genessee, and by having the Home Depot sales person there talk to the phone service people, the issue was resolved in a very reasonable way. The HD sales person said this was typical of their experience with the phone personnel. Also see report on JW Flooring, the HD contractor. Would not use HD or JW for flooring installation in future.

HOME DEPOT CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY HELPFUL. THE INSTALLER WAS ON TIME, COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. THE INSTALL JOB AND PRODUCT ARE WORKING PERFECTLY.

HOME DEPOT HAS THE BEST GUARANTEE AND ALSO HAD HELPFUL SALES STAFF.

THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE ORDER, FROM THE INITIAL ORDER DATE TO RECEIPT OF ACCEPTABLE PRODUCT WAS NEARLY 5 MONTHS. FOR APPROXIMATELY 2 MONTHS OF THAT TIME, THERE WERE SEVERAL DOORS IN OUR HALLWAY THAT COULD NOT BE INSTALLED, DUE TO A COMBINATION OF WRONG SIZES (THEIR PERSONNEL MEASURED) AND DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. STRAIGHTENING THIS OUT TOOK MANY, MANY PHONE CALLS AND WAS A MOST FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE. I DID NOT FEEL THAT MANY OF THE PERSONNEL INVOLVED CARED ABOUT THE PROBLEM.

WE THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS FAIR. BUT, IT TOOK A LONG TIME FOR THEM TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO MEASURE FOR THE NEW DOOR, ORDER THE NEW DOOR, THEN COME AND INSTALL IT-ABOUT 3 WEEKS BETWEEN EACH STEP.

THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND FINISHED THE JOB QUICKLY. EACH ROOM, CLOSET AND STEP WAS CAREFULLY MEASURED AND THE INSTALLATION WAS METICULOUS. THE QUALITY OF THE END RESULT IS VERY GOOD.

THEY GAVE A VERY GOOD PRICE AND COMPLETED THE JOB ON TIME.
