EMERY HOME REPAIR

Mr Emery was prompt, reliable and easy to work with. He cleared up after himself and offered to take away garbage produced. He was open to changes along the way and although our original job cost more than the estimate, we understood the reason. We are very happy with the work he did and will be using him again.

This was a good experience. The contractor was prompt, professional and pleasant to deal with. He worked rapidly and competently. He appeared to have had considerable experience doing similar work. He had readily available tools, and a large service truck apparently holding all that was necessary to do the job. I supplied the vinyl floor cover. The job took about 4 hours. I would hire him again. When he bid on the job, we did not understand how much damage there was in the subflooring. I thought that the bid was fair. It turned out that there was less damage than we initially thought.

MIKE WAS VERY PROMPT IN REPLYING TO MY E-MAIL AND HE SHOWED UP RIGHT ON TIME TO DO THE WORK. IN FACT, HE HAD TO COME TO MY HOUSE SEVERAL TIMES, AND EACH TIME HE WAS THERE WHEN HE SAID HE'D BE THERE -- VERY RELIABLE. HE WORKED FAST AND DIDN'T MAKE ANY MESS, AND GOT EVERYTHING WORKING RIGHT. HE IS EXCEPTIONAL IN THAT HE NOT ONLY DOES GOOD WORK -- YOU CAN COUNT ON HIM TO BE THERE. THAT'S RARE WITH MOST WORKMEN THESE DAYS. I'M KEEPING HIS NUMBER HANDY FOR FUTURE JOBS.

MIKE WAS VERY THOROUGH. I WAS IMPRESSED THAT HE WENT TO MORE THAN ONE SHOP TO ASK FOR ADVICE REGARDING THE TYPE OF PROTECTIVE STAIN THAT SHOULD BE USED ON OUR DOORS. ALTHOUGH I DID HAVE TO CALL HIM A COUPLE TIMES TO REMIND HIM THAT MORE WORK REMAINED, HE ALWAYS CAME WHEN HE SAID THAT HE WOULD. THE QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS FINE.

THE LIVING ROOM LAMP LOOKS MUCH BETTER SWAGGED OVER THE TABLE. REPAIRMAN USED JUST THE RIGHT CHAIN, AND LOCATED THE HOOKS EXACTLY AS INSTRUCTED. WE GOT GOOD ADVICE ON THE KITCHEN LIGHTS, AND SAVED A LOT OF MONEY BY NOT REPLACING THE FIXTURES AT THIS TIME.
