Interior Painting
Because he and his grandsons had been so polite,
because my decorator said she trusted him,
because I could not get him out of my home when I was there with him all by myself,
and because I felt sorry for the situation he was in with his mom,
I went ahead and paid what he asked and trusted him to come back and finish the job properly.
One month passed, then I called to see if he was back in town, he said he was not, so another, and another and another month, I finally asked my decorator to contact him because he had stopped returning my once a week phone calls. He told her that he was not going to come back to my house to finish, that there wasn't enough money left for him to be able to afford to pay his grandsons.
I have been quoted several thousand dollars to fix the mess he left. Because of the runs, thin spots, incorrect paint application, and poor color matching, it is going to cost me just as much to fix the mess he left me with as what I paid him for everything.
