Do not buy windows at Lowes. I totally regret purchases my windows through lowes instead of directly through the manufacturer. It seemed very simple to go to my local lowes, walk in and show our plans and get our windows ordered. First, they ordered them to deep for our 2x4 walls with extensions that fit for 2x6. I also explained to the sales person that I wanted the windows inset, but now the sheetrock doesnt even cover. This is now costing us more in labor and materials to fix . We cant get new windows, because the turnaround would take too long. I’ve asked simply for them to help with our additional costs by reimbursing us some of our over $20k in windows we bought. We also had two windows not function and dents/dings throughout due to the shipping and handling on their part. They started by telling me to call the manufacturer directly, rather than contact them on our behalf. We got the rep with the manufacturer out and they were appauled at the condition the windows were in. They were able to repair some items but have to replace other parts entirely. Lowes is now not returning my emails or phone calls. Lowes is great for alot of things but we are in the middle of a very bad experience with them on getting this issue resolved, and felt it necessary to post this to warn others.

In late December 2021, I purchased a complete kitchen remodel for approximately $25K. It was fraught from the beginning. One of the three salespeople completely flaked out in the middle and one was both misinformed and rude. Finally, I was given a quoted price multiple times and increased my MyLowe's card to cover the $25K. Then, the final price was more, suddenly. I complained multiple times to the store and to Lowe's corporate, and finally they honored the original quote. The next step was "measuring" the kitchen. I measured quite accurately, but the supposed expert who showed up ignored that and ultimately mis-measured. I spent a couple of hours getting it right. He spent 15 minutes, and I had to help him. Then, cabinets started arriving, some of which were damaged (this happens). Then, more and more showed up. The installer was "too busy" to inspect them, so I did. Then, without warning Lowe's corporate, specifically the Western Regional Manager, canceled the contract for the cabinet installation without cause or explanation. I scrambled around and found another installer. During this the appliances showed up. They were supposed to install the fridge, but even this was a struggle. The first set of delivery people wouldn't do it and the fridge was damaged when the second group brought the fridge back. More delays of course. So far, Lowe's owes me about $500 difference, due to their mis-measurement for the cabinets. Next up, countertops and backsplash. They're expecting me to wait a month without a functioning kitchen for their installer to "measure," then another two weeks to do the installation. I'm in the process of finding another installer, repurchasing the material, and basically starting over. Lowe's will be responsible for whatever difference in price, and I've told them, including all the executive's emails I could find on the web, that I'm fine with suing them if they don't pay me. I've closed my credit card account with them, but they keep insisting on putting whatever money they deem to refund back on the closed account. They've lied or mislead me or were misinformed or never bothered to find out throughout the entire process. This is, of course, just a summery. It's actually much worse.

They're pretty much the only ones I go to. I spent a lot of money from the tools. Sometimes, it's hard to find people to help you.

Came when they said they would, did not leave a mess. Actually they left it immaculate . The sales people very professional and helpful. They sent me too much baseboard, and they took it back because it was still in the bundle, which I greatly appreciated.

Great! Went to Lowe's and set up an estimate, which was $45, to be applied against your installation. Within the week, appointment was set for installation. The installers arrived on time, went right to work moving the furniture and ripping out the old pad and carpet. They worked hard all day, form ~7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (we were having all our carpeted surfaces replaced: dining room, living room, stairs, hall, 3 bedrooms, including closets.) They could not get the stairs done on that day because the estimator had not told the installers they were and quot;waterfalland quot; treads. They came back 2 days later and spent another 3 hours installing the stairs. Everything looks good and they were very professional.

I already did my research online and knew which log set I wanted from lowes. I had my baby girl with me and it was difficult for me to load the log set as well as take care of her (since she needed to be held). I asked an associate for help, they were more than happy to help and even loaded it in the car for me. Great service as always. Would definitely go back again. The big deal made the transaction all the more better!

I chose the Pergo XP Laminate flooring. Lowe's had a nice selection. They also had a special on the install (if you bought Pergo) - it was $1 per square foot. I also paid extra because the install team needed to grind several spots on the cement.
The installer and his team were great. Punctual for the quote and install. He was able to give me a firm and final price- something other companies were hesitant to do because they were unsure as to how long it would take to prepare the cement. The install (for 1000 sq feet) was done in two days and it looks great. It exceeds my expectations.
If you work with Lowe's, ask for Val and his install team!!
I would highly recommend going with Lowe's. Yes, you can go with a local flooring company. But their product prices might be higher and their install is around $2.50 a square foot. So right there, I saved myself $1,500.
Oh, get or use your Lowe's Credit Card for a 5% discount!!!
I'm a happy customer....

Great job, all around. The ordering was easy, Lowes' installed sales office kept in touch, and the carpet actually arrived early. The subcontractor, A1 Flooring, was great, too, including scheduler Jeremy and installer Jesus. Very professional, and Jesus was a true craftsman with the platform/step wrapping. No nicks or dents to the baseboards at all. Very happy and would use them again anytime.

I did not like their work at all. The job was incomplete and there were gaps left around the door frame. I just thought their work was a mess and they really did not care about fixing it correctly. I was very disappointed with the work Lowe's did.

Our kitchen cabinets did arrive early but one of the doors was damaged. They sent it back with no problems. The quartz countertops arrived one week early and I was wishing that we could have installed them as they were so beautiful. The pair of French doors we ordered arrived 5 days late. I am overall very pleased with them and their quality of the products I just wish things would have came in at the time that they were suppose to.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE AT THE HOUSE WITHIN FIVE MINUTES OF THE TIME THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE HERE. THEY WORKED STRAIGHT THROUGH UNTIL THE JOB WAS DONE. THEY DIDN'T EVEN TAKE A LUNCH BREAK!
