Not only did he respond quickly and give me a fair estimate, he was very meticulous in the jobs he did. He even picked up the garbage disposal for me. He was quite helpful in making suggestions as to what would be most efficient and even did some extra work to make things better on something that I hadn't though of -without charging me for it.

Description of Work: I needed to have a wall air conditioner support stand removed and replaced and the a.c. unit reinstalled and sealed, along with repairs to a wooden porch (support beam, replace several deck boards), and he cleaned out roof gutters after troubleshooting that they were the cause of a leak I'd asked him to look at.

He gives you a fair estimate for how much repairs will cost and won't charge you if he's unable to complete the job for any reason. His rates are very reasonable and if he is running late for your appointment, he will give you a call. His schedule also seems more flexible than other handymen I have tried. I would definitely recommend Richard to others and will use him again!

Description of Work: As a first time home buyer, I did not know who to contact for minor repairs that required some attention. I called atleast 2-3 handyman service companies but their quote price was too high for such minor works. Luckily, I chanced upon RC&G Handyman Service & its owner Richard whom I talked on phone. He came to my home, inspected every repair that I needed and even advised me to have some of the repairs taken care by me only as they were pretty minor and kind of "Do it Yourself" .. He emailed me the bid next day and I was happy to see such reasonable charges. So I approved it and he gave me the appointment after 2 weeks as I needed a Friday. I'm pretty happy with Richard and I would highly recommend him. He gets booked pretty much so please schedule your work well in advance :)

He provided all the materials needed to complete the job; which was very helpful since he knew what was needed. All 3 tasks were completed in one day on the date we agreed to. All tasks were done very well. The wood trims were replaced, re-sealed, and re-painted and they looked like new. Closet door job was complex and it was fixed. I will continue to use the RC&G services since it is high quality work and reliable.

Rich was very patient and accommodating with these issues and did the installation in a matter of days after the parts finally arrived

Description of Work: This was the second time I've used his services. He did a bunch of little things like figuring out how to use the timer for the front yard, fixed the toilet seat, put in a new showerhead, changed the filter in the furnace, installed a grab bar, and hooked up my VCR to the TV.
