As an informed consumer, I followed guidelines when choosing a painter to paint the exterior of our home. I got four written estimates, checked licensing, insurance, bonding and searched online reviews. In October 2017 we contracted with Painters Plus, Inc. Painters Plus, Inc. started in 1986. They give free estimates, employ their own large professionally trained crew, maintain the set schedule, use the highest grade of paint, and “they actually guarantee all their work for an unheard of Ten Full Years!!!” Keeping their promise to stand behind their work, is what prompts me to write this review. Despite upgrading our paint to Sherwin-Williams Super Paint, sections of our home developed cracks in the paint. We are deeply disappointed that Sherwin-Williams would not honor their “lifetime limited warranty” and thankful that Steve McFarland founder of Painters Plus, Inc. honors his company’s guarantee. On July 28. 2021, Painters Plus, Inc. repainted all requested sections of our home. If business ethics and integrity are values you seek in hiring, I highly recommend Painters Plus, Inc. OMG!!!!! I cannot tell you in enough words what an awesome experience Painter's Plus (PP) did for me. I had my house painted 15 years ago by PP and because of the followup I called them again. Lamont and Harry were soooo nice and easy to work with that I truly would not hesitate to call on PP again. I even picked out the colors based on some pictures in a magazine and one of the colors was not appropriate for my house or the neighborhood. Lamont had the foresight to stop and call me at work and ask me did I REALLY want that particular color on my house? Since I was at work, I had my neighbor come out and look at the color as I raced from work to review the paint. My neighbor said "H___ NO!" and I agreed! Thank You, Thank You, Thank YOU PP!!!! I will be forever grateful that you cared enough to think things through and not just blindly put paint on a house without considering who I was and the neighborhood I live in. My neighbors, my family and friends all said that if they EVER needed a paint job on their house, PP would be their first stop!!! A million thanks! This is one very satisfied customer! :)

It was a bumpy ride, but the final outcome is great. My house is made of very old shingles. The wall that gets the afternoon sun is in especially bad shape. Steve assured me he could make it look better, but we agreed that it obviously would never look like new. When the crew was done painting the first day, the paint was peeling off the wall before they left the driveway and the house looked worse than ever. After a week of people coming to inspect, etc. Steve showed up with a rep from Sherwin-Williams. They kindly agreed that they would come back, scrape some more, use primer, and repaint the bad parts for no extra charge. They did just that, and the house now looks as good as it can for being 57 years old! I appreciated Painters Plus professionalism and willingness to fix the problem. Chelsea, who runs the office, always answered the phone and followed through on setting up all the appointments. My house was a tough job, but they saw it through and I'm happy with the results.

Very bad. The first crew that were here on Monday needed to use our paint, the paint was suppose to be provided. They were here for six hours and didn't touch up any of the doors and talked us out doing 1 of the accent walls. They missed a lot of areas so we had them come back to correct this and paint the accent arch. The 2nd crew who showed up today said " there is a lot of blue tape" They said they were only here to touch up and didn't redo any of the doors and the accent arch. My husband came home and finished the touch up himself. The crew today didn't put the top of the paint can on tight and when my husband shook it before he used it, the top came off and got paint on our car and all over the garage floor.

"Unfortunately this was a client who used us for approximately 10 jobs over the years. They asked if we could do some touch up work for them because they were on a budget. I agreed to help them out- but when I wondered why a 2 hour job was taking all day it was because they told the crew to paint all of their doors and trim! I told them that this was not touch up work -as they agreed too and that they would need to pay for the work that they wanted done. They refused to pay and threatened me with bad reviews. So this is what happens when you try to do something nice. They thought we would do a $3000 job for $500! We did above and beyond the scope of the work and they used us 10 times before - but wrote a review like this. Shame on you."

On 3-17-16 0700 hrs, Painters Plus power washed my house to ready for exterior paint. They were supposed to complete the painting on 3-17-16 but with the rain deluge of 4 days earlier in the week, they were behind in their workload. At 0700 hrs on 3-18-16, a crew of 5 people were there and ready to complete the painting of my exterior. They did a great job...very professional...made sure that I was very happy with everything they had completed prior to leaving. The process of painting only took about 6 hours. It looks terrific. I have received a TON of compliments on the color over the past week from people passing by on foot and in car.

Stay away from this train wreck. What a crappy job they did. I was very specific about what I wanted. I wanted everything caulked. I wanted and paid for the barn to have two coats. Because I have lap siding, I wanted the underside of the lap siding hand painted. I did not choose these people because of price. They were actually in the middle. They broke 2 of my sprinklers, detached wiring on the sprinkler valves, NEVER caulked anything, stole my hose nozzle, haphazardly power washed the house leaving debris on the house, spilled paint on sidewalk and did a poor job of cleaning it up..... but the best part was the sloppy half done paint job. What a mess. They did not wire brush anything. I was peeling off pain that was bubbled up off the wood trim that they were to have wire brushed. There were so many places that were half way sprayed. Yes, I did have them come back 2 times. Despite what they say in their printed material that they hand you, THEY DO NOT DO ANY OF IT. There 10 year warranty. Forget about it. The customer satisfaction.... forget about it. The second time I called Derrick out here because they missed the area near the electrical boxes and the side of the house near the satellite dish, I was told by Derrick that he would come out "one more time". I had to remind him that I did not create the issues. I will have to wait until next spring to have the house painted again. Can't afford to do again this year.

"I must say that this is about as far from the TRUTH as anything I have ever read! This is one of those clients that can never be satisfied. Not only do we have documented proof of ALL of the prep work that was done (detailed pictures of caulking, pressure washing, priming, etc.) but we have a personally signed release that states that the client completely inspected the job and was 100% satisfied. She paid NOTHING until the job was completed and she inspected it. She also would call the supervisor at all hours of the night - saying she "had anxiety about the job". She had dozens of "special mix" colors painted all over her house trying to find the right color - which took month's! Then she was still worried about the color! She would watch them work because she is always home and she watched them use hundreds of tubes of caulking! So she definitely is either not being honest or she has memory issues? And yes 2 sprinkler heads were broken by accident but immediately replaced prior to finishing the job! AND no one would "steal" a $3 spray nozzle! I am sorry but this is upsetting because we went above and beyond to satisfy this client who was probably an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of difficult to work with. She would call hundreds of times to our office and to our men directly about the same things over an over - prior to even starting the job! We took lots of pictures; before, during and after on this job. We would be more than happy to share these with anyone interested - as well as her signed completion form. We also have an inspection sheet that listed SEVERAL places on her concrete that had paint on the areas PRIOR to starting the job -and she SIGNED it and acknowledged this. We can also provide anyone proof of this upon request. The job was done and it was done very, very well. It is unfortunate to have someone like this "blindside" you and write a nasty review for NO REASON! We worked very hard and did a great job. Sometimes you need to see the whole story and job before you take the word of 1 person that probably can never be satisfied. Please disregard her ridiculous review and read the other 98% of our clients that have had great experiences and jobs done. Why would one person be so far from the large majority? We can also provide you with hundreds of excellent reviews upon request."

I do not know why they have an overall B grade. They are immaculate and efficient. They cleaned up perfectly. Everyone else quoted 1200 and 4 days of work. Painter's Plus did it all in one day. They are the best company we have ever used.

These guys are great. They were timely, arrived with a crew of many and completed a large job in 2 days. They were informative careful and paid a high level of attention to detail. They were cautious of our dog to ensure it did not escape while they moved around. Moved furniture both away and back. Overall a 10!

total paint job was scheduled for 1/13. I was pleasantly surprised when some power washing and caulking was done a day earlier when some crew members had some free time. start time was scheduled for 7:30 am, crew was there waiting at 7:20. since I had a security system, I was able to remotely listen and view the work in progress. there was no let up, and by 3 pm, my entire house was complete. h*** yes, these people are for real. on my final walk around, it was obvious that quality work was done with a quality paint. it was that obvious. I would not hesitate one bit to use painters plus .

Initial phone call to finished job in less than 72 hours! A new record!
Steve and his crew are the BEST! From the initial inspection (this is the second time I have used Painter's Plus for various painting projects on my property), Steve was prompt, courteous, and very helpful in his suggestions.
We have a home that has one side with a creeping vine that goes dormant in the winter. Therefore, that entire side of the house had to have all of the vines removed and the stucco all prepped and repaired for fresh paint. That was not an issue for the crew. They did all of the extra work, stayed on task and worked as a well choreographed team. They showed up, got to work immediately each day and and it only took TWO days start to finish for the entire 5000ft house!
They also dealt well with my extremely manic dog throughout.
I would (and have) go out of my way to refer Steve and his crews at Painter's Plus for any and all of my friends. Throughout the past 20 years and several properties, Painter's Plus is my new contractor of choice.
PS....The house looks absolutely outstanding...all of the neighbors are jealous!

Steve and his crew always go the extra mile in handling all of our painting needs over the years. They remove and he-hang pictures and other things from the walls. They match tough-to-match paint for touch up work. They gladly move and replace furniture. They even offer to assist us with on-pointing issues. My daughter had ruined the door to her room and as such, we had her go out and buy a replacement. Although close in size, it was not the right fit for the doorframe. Steve's guys came in and offered to go to Home Depot, find us the right door and casing, and paint and replace the door. I would (and have) highly recommend Steve and his team to any of my friends.

The prep work was done by several qualified team members. We discovered the plants surrounding the house were too close to the walls to be painted but this led to a pleasant surprise when the crew started to clear away the shrubs. My landscape crew showed up and finished clearing the plants. Painters Plus crew members also helped me to finish clearing our a shed to be painted and asked if I needed any other things done to assist me.
They were simply marvelous. It was a warm day but they kept on track. I was concerned about my newly installed video surveillance cameras getting paint on them because they were scheduled to be replaced the next week and I didn't want to argue anymore with ADT. The painters kept the cameras clean and even checked all of them after job completion to make sure no paint ended up on the cameras or their housings. They have since been replaced and no problem with ADT about paint coverage. Painters Plus workers were always professional, courteous, and extremely helpful. They picked up after themselves and kept the jobsite clean and safe.
When the job was completed...in record time. We did our final walk around and I was amazed at how good the house looked. The supervisor gave me a good explanation of the work completed and made sure I had containers of the paint used for any touch up I may need to do after my projects are finished. We were more than pleased at the final cost and gave them their payment. They finished up and left for their shop at about 3 pm..
I want to add, we will use them again. They made the whole experience pleasant and easy to do. Their prices are great. In fact, many of my neighbors came over to look at our house and have asked for Painters Plus, Inc. number so they can get their homes done. If you need painting work done, call Painters Plus, Inc. I contacted Painters Plus through Angie's List. Steve came out to give me an estimate the next day.
He was on time, polite and professional. He sent me the quote via email later in the day as I requested.
Price was reasonable and they were accommodating to our business schedule.
Painters Plus prepped and painted 40 panels on our dock doors to match the existing grey color.

We have used Painters Plus to paint three of our homes over the past 12 years and have always been happy with their work and professionalism. They are very quick to respond, their large crew shows up early and we are always amazed at how much they accomplish in one day. One of the drawbacks of painting is having a company take too long prepping, painting and coming back for touch up. These guys start and complete our larger projects in one day which has now become our expectation on all jobs.
The are a quality contractor that we would happily use again.

THEY SENT IN A CREW OF ABOUT 8 MEN AND COMPLETED THE WORK ALL IN ONE DAY. THE CLEAN-UP COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE BETTER, BUT THEY DID A GREAT JOB.

Horribly. This is a list of specific issues that are readily apparent: Did not power wash anything, said they would painted over spider webs, painted over wasp nest holes not caulked, holes caulked after painting and now showing up white, painted over spy hole in front door, did not wrap door even though I was there so that they could, did not paint the back of the barn, did not sand front door, did not prime front door, did not seal cracks, did not leave leftover paint (just a small kit), did not clean moss off of side of house, and did not set loose nails. The supervisor was also rude and bullying but I can not prove that. When I complained, I told the woman in the office that I did not want the supervisor on my property ever again. When they come out to "fix" the problems, the supervisor was with them and tried to hide from me. And, the fix was badly done as well. Right now, you can look at my front window and see places they didn't even paint.

Painters Plus was on time, very polite, reasonably priced, and fast, but they were not in a hurry to get it done, they were still very good and completed the work, as I wished. Also, when they finished my work, one man from the 5 man crew passed out flyers to some of neighbors and received 15% off their painting job. They are great painters the best you can get. And I have to say, I am very picky.

Very professional from start to finish. The estimate was done within 24 hours from when I signed up online. The price was more than fair for the quality work they provide. The men are professional and polite. They were on time, clean and did a great job. I seen them work in our neighborhood - and all the neighbors were also pleased!
