Brophy Construction specializes in high end remodeling and addition projects as well as siding, fencing, decks, pergolas, gazebos and more. We are an experienced and innovative company that was established in February of 2009. Recently we became certified by the International Code Council for the 2010 California Green Building Standards Code which will become mandatory building practices in January of 2010. Owner Mike Brophy began his work experience in the manufacturing sector as Senior Buyer for a San Francisco Bay Area based water chiller company. In 2000 he changed to the construction sector and became a journeyman, union interior trim carpenter. In 2003 Mike began working for home builder Pulte Homes as an assistant superintendent and by 2004 he was promoted to superintendent and began managing entire large scale construction projects. He has extensive knowledge of both IBC and CBC building codes as well as the ICC cal green code for green building construction. Mike also has a complete understanding of all municipal proccesses including Architects/Engineers, Plan Review, Plan Check and Permits. Brophy Construction uses the industries top, innovative assembly systems and standards.
