TWO HANDY GUYS

Description of Work: I came to Angie's list after a not-good contractor experience. Jeff was game to fix what my previous contractor messed up/couldn't do. I was at the end of a long reno and Jeff's professionalism, promptness and quality work were a relief. He's really nice too! He installed a tricky door (had to cut thru sheetrock to install 8' tall wood directly to support column, reapply sheetrock over and anchor furring strip over for hinges to mount on) and downdraft cooktop exhaust (cut thru cabinet base to vent behind kickplate), paint kitchen, install cabinet knobs and mount flat-screen TV to the wall.

Description of Work: Jeff came and mended our kitchen drawer that had come off the rail. Throughout the whole process Jeff has a lovely demeanor. He followed up on my initial call punctually, was extremely pleasant to deal with and was efficient and competent. He talked me through what had happened, why it had happened and gave me advice to stop it happening again. Lovely bloke, confident in his knowledge and would def use him again

Description of Work: Jeff repaired a flower box which runs along the side of our home, abutting an exterior wall. Sections were in serious disrepair and he rebuilt and shored up and repainted the sections most in need of attention. Not only was he a pleasure to deal with, but he also was available, reasonably priced, and accommodating. What really distinguished the service was his integrity and willingness to go the extra yard. In order to fit the job into a busy schedule (and to assist with the challenge of having the required lengths of 2X3 lumber on site on short notice) he offered to purchase the materials on the west side of Manhattan (where he is located) and, with an assist from an associate, walk the lumber across Central Park to the east side where we live. The job was completed to our satisfaction in a timely fashion and at a fair price. We also inquired about using Jeff's services to align another section of the garden box and he advised that, in his opinion, the marginal improvement wouldn't justify the costs or time expended on the job. We agreed and greatly appreciated his honesty.

Description of Work: Two Handy Guys gave me a quote for and installed wall televisions and a banister.

Description of Work: Had a problem with a high quality wooden drawer that needed to be fixed. Although it was high quality the job would be small. Jeff Kuller was recommended to me. Spoke to him by phone. He asked for photos of the problem, which were emailed to him. Very quickly he came back and said that it was an easy, quick fix and he suggested I do it myself with the step by step instructions he sent. The fix worked. The next time I have a problem around the house he will be the first person I call.

Description of Work: I called Jeff for help with a problem. He could not help me and was honest enough to say that and advised me how I might be able to do the job myself. I will definitely be my call in future.

Description of Work: He sealed and repaired some plaster above a window for me. He also installed new canister lights in my entry way, which involved a lot of sheet rocking.
